Hello
I'm not able to execute the procedure using dblink in PLSql block.
Although he works outside the end of the beginning.
Please suggest solution
Hello
Thanks everone for your contributions,
As well as the permissions, I used to run inside the PL sql block, which was not necessary, we can simply call the procedure using dblink.
Thanks guys,.

It will not be installed. Message says usbstor.inf version 5.1.2600.0 location C:\window\inf is missing. It is in my computer. What should I do now?
If you use a CD supplied with the product, try to download the installer from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=441240#N195
If this does not work, here are two possible solutions for you:
A. the usbstore.inf file has been corrupted. As you have found the file on your computer, you can open it in Notepad. All usbstor.inf content can be seen here (and copied and saved using Notepad to replace your file, if you wish): http://forums.techguy.org/hardware/568675-solved-error-message-usbstor-inf.html
Or you can review the HP of your file usbstor.inf part and compare it to this:[HP]

% USB\VID_03F0&PID_6102.DeviceDesc%=USBSTOR_BULK, USB\VID_03F0 & PID_6102B. see this HP support article. In your case, can help to Solution 3: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00035977&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Try to run a procedure that takes as parameter VARRAY
Hi gurus,
I am trying to run a procedure having a table entry.
However, I get an error during execution.
Can you please help me on how to run a procedure having a table input?
create or replace type type_a in the table to the number (10,0);
Script:
declare
txn_id type_a
Start
txn_id type_a()
txn_id (1): = 516963065;
procedure_1 (emp_id = > 1001, txn_id)
end;Besides above solutions, you must confirm that all variables have a corresponding input parameter, including the case even in the name of the variable, if your Oracle database is case-sensitive.
Can you check and let us know your findings?
Kind regards

Configuration of the procedure.
I do not know the appropriate language, so I couldn't google it.
I'm in Oracle 9i. I have a procedure that is:
1 slider/query
2 doing things with the query.
I found that I need to do the step #2 twice sometimes. I intend to do step 2 it is a clean procedure and call it "do_work" (just a name made for now). Then, in the original proceedings, I intend to do
1 slider/query
2. call the do_work (passed_cursor)
3. making different query
4. call the do_work (passed_cursor)
I have two questions. Which is a nice way to work with the procedures (from data sets) or what I have to do a package?
It is important that these two calls to do_work() will not occur at the same time. I want one to finish completely before I have adopt another. Called that and how can I ensure that?
Thank you.
DanielIt really depends on what you mean by "It is important that these two do_work() calls do not occur at the same time"
If you want to say that in the world, that is, if someone is already using your procedure so no one else can before the end of the current version, then you will need some sort of serialization mechanism. You can use a table of "locking" as already suggested, of you could use the provided DBMS_LOCK package. This package allows you to create a user-defined lock to serialize access. Essentially, at the beginning of your procedure, you should do something like:
l_lock_handle varchar2(128); BEGIN dbms_lock.allocate_unique('PROCEDUREXLOCK', l_lock_handle); dbms_lock.request(l_lock_handle, 6, dbms_lock.x_mode, timeoutvalue);
dbms_lock.release(l_lock_handle); END; This will create an exclusive lock, called PROCEDUREXLOCK. Once you got this lock, any other session to try to execute the procedure will wait for timeoutvalue seconds in order to obtain the lock. If the timoutvalue seconds elapse he cannot obtain the lock, then request returns 1 and you can decide what you need to do abount that.
If you just want to say that in one call to your procedure, even if many sessions are running, the first call to foo must completely finish before the second call to start, then you do nothing because the PL/SQL procedures are series anyway.

Call the procedure to set the context before interactive report refreshes the data
Hi guys,.
I have a question mind an interactive report which takes the data in a view.
The problem is that whenever I take the data from the database I need to define a context (user name and password) before running the query so the view will be taken into account the context and return only the lines that I have access.
Everything works fine when I'm first loading of the page: I have first to define the context, then load all the data I need on the page, including the IR. But when I try to apply IR filters, or even don't go to the next page no data is returned. I believe this happens because the context is not defined before the execution of the query to load the data and I don't seem to find a way to put it.
I tried to add a dynamic action on some events on IR (change, clicking, etc.) that executes the procedure to set the context, but without success - even if the event is raised, the report still doesn't return any data.
Can someone help me with this issue please?

Apex 4. Run the procedure to recover my files
Dear all,
I experience a problem moving my apex application (sss) to a new server.
I export demand for 3.2 APEX to APEX 4.0 new
+ transfer of data using a simple DB dump (export).
Everything will work perfectly except our main application functionality, sitting on the workspace of "HR_PRD" that we have a few problems.
In our DB schema called "HR_REP" I have a table that stores BLOBs for download a document attached to a record of the employee.
So I created a package that contains the custom procedure to download the files stored in the table "wr_docs".
URL = http://sphfrapex01.hopfr.net.fr.ch:8080/apex/HR_PROD.wr_apputil.download_my_file?p_file=3655106341169143
I can download the file whithout any problems and it appears correctly in the report showing all my files.
BUT when it tries to download... Unfortunately, access to the file does not work on the new APEX 4.0 platform!
As this sounds like a simple question 'rights', I did several tests...
I tried to create a simple procedure on my 'old' server called 'TEST' which simply print a simple text:
HTP. ("test to print something");
Here, I granted AUDIENCE to perform this procedure.
It works well on the APEX 3.2 platform when on the new APEX 4.0, refusal to execute the procedure.
Can you help me please?
I'm certainly missing something obvious thanks to the GRANT run the TEST at?
I granted AUDIENCE, so the appeal should work...
I have to admit, I'm a bit lost here.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Lightning zapped a supply of computers. Expensive to replace so I had the password protected HD installed in a Cabinet, but now I can not in HD. What are the procedures to overcome having to put the password. The HD casing is connected to another computer. As explained in TechGeek2, your question is 'ownership' of the files. The procedure to which refers the TG2 is explained here--> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308421
