  You can use v2. Version 3 uses the SDK to play from Google that is not supported.

  You should be able to open InDesign CC 2014 files in version 9.3.

  Two simple conditions must be met to do this:

  (a) you must be connected to the application using your Adobe ID

  Provided that the two conditions above are met, when you try to open a document in version higher in a lower version (from CS6), you should be able to see a dialog box asking if you want the document to be converted to a compatible version.

  I'm doing this for an engineering company. Dollar of big deals and large pages. The theory was that, as a designer, I could produce more nice and professional looking bid documents. However, in our business, submission content come many people in many departments, they're always at the last minute, and then they make changes more than once you have printed and assembled the document. So we had to give up the theory and return to Word, which everyone on their computers. It has never been enough conception of time for me to combine the entries and work in InDesign. And, in the end, the bid evaluators are inundated with paper of several bidders and don't care well designed hardware. They want to just pull the numbers. We continue to win deals with our Word documents.

  If you have the time, it's more satisfying to work in InDesign. However, you do want to start this until you have considerable experience InDesign. A new user of InDesign up against a deadline is a recipe for disaster.

  At present, it seems that what is 'correct' is defined by the applicant to the question! And that seems completely wrong for me. It would be wise in some ways that a 'correct' answer must provide a final sequence of events which overcomes the original difficulty entirely - but in another way, a response that provides all the clues you need to fix something for yourself and allows you to learn something on the way could certainly be described as "useful" - and I would say that in fact it was probably much more use than just the "correct" answer

  And what happens if someone comes up with an answer that is incorrect, and they get points 'correct '? Or someone else comes along and adds useful information to the correct answer? And there is no point left to distribute?

  The idea sucks big time - as most of the rest of the new forum software. It sucks because you could make a strong case to say that point scoring back to the front - but why must we point scoring anyway, all of a sudden? They should spend this off - along with all what post crappy County, which is also completely wrong, both conceptually and in practice.

  There is no way to update the version of perpetual license / DWCS6 drive to the creative cloud, they are two completely separate programs. There used to be a discount for the Creative Suite owners switch to CC, but that ship has sailed.
