  I had the same problem, but with Firefox 4.0. My first thought was last updated to Firefox (after of course restarting FF), but it did not help and I had the same problem.

  Among others, I had an extension installed and enabled called tile tabs 4.10 I thought could easily create this problem. I went in my Add-ons Manager and disabled, restarted Firefox and tabs worked properly again. Unfortunately, the extension of the tile tabs is my favorite Firefox Add-on and I use it almost every day to manage my web tasks. I went to the page Add on for tile tabs and saw that there was a notice that version 4.10 did not work properly on Mac OS and install version 4.9 of the extension.   ISPS don't like people using their networks to forward mail from other networks.  The symptoms you describe are usually the result of not properly is authenticating with the outgoing server or the use of a non encrypted SMTP connection (that is, port 25 instead of 587 or 465 or whatever your email port provider requires for encryption).

  You can try the following steps and check if it helps:

  Method 1:

  a. open a Windows Explorer window.

  b. open the Start Menu, and then type shell: sendto in the search box and press ENTER.

  c. Add or remove any drive, folder, or shortcut app like you who uses the option open with to send it to the window below.

  NOTE: for example: Notepad, paint, Photo Gallery, dvd player, any folder, etc. For a reader, right-click on the drive in the computer, then click on create a shortcut placed on the desktop before you move the shortcut here.

  Method 2:

  You can also try to change the registry settings and check if it helps.

  Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
