I use thunderbird and firefox but not be able to get support. My credentials are not recognized.

I have been using Thunderbird and Firefox for more than 12 months and at that moment there registered for Mozilla Support. Several times during this period, I tried to connect to the Support without success due to 'details' unrecognized and as advised, my email address has been sent, so that a new password can be generated. Each time, Mozilla responded by saying that a link of e-mail had been sent to me to generate a new password. I have never received such an email from Mozilla, so I've never been able to access the media.
I guess that the apparent success today is maybe because of me go a different route to get a valuable source of information. I hope that is correct and have no role in «good luck»

    If that fails, see if you are using an add-on which is the origin of conflicts.
    Help > restart with disabled addons.

    You will need to work through the addons disabled until you find the one causing a problem. Perhaps add it needs updating.

    I had the same problem, and I read somewhere that, according to a mozilla knowledge base article, the password is a requirement for import certificates (although the corresponding KB page is now unavailable)

    I tried the following and it worked for me:
    -certificates of export on the desktop
    -remove the certificates in firefox
    -set a master password on firefox (preferences - security - using the master password)
    -import certificates

    You should now be able to sign.

    Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

    If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

    You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

    Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

    If it works in Windows safe mode, then you have a problem with other software, maybe a security software or a system driver that runs on your computer.

    It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

    Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
