I use Windows 7 Professional, so why is Flash player always obsolete?

I get regular messages from Adobe, saying a new version of Flash Player is available, and I download & install, apparently with success each time.

However, you are using Mozilla Firefox (also fully updated), Flash Player is always a failure, with a message saying that he (Flash) is obsolete and a black sceen (or part of) appears instead a display provided through Flash.

How to uninstall Flash completely and then re - start, because I suspect it is a problem of 32-bit/64-bit.

HI Maria,

Thank you... Yes, I use several browsers, with Firefox as first choice, but again I use Chrome and even Internet Explorer.   The other possible confounding factor is that we have a network of two PC from Dell, the two 64-bit Windows 7 Professional, which are usually on, and in addition we sometimers also connect an iPad or a small Samsung netbook running Windows 7 family (32 bit), so up to 4 devices almost identical IPS ranging from simple broadband via landline.  In special situations, the netbook is the only active PC.

I have located the two log files and am about to download.  I also added a picture to my profile and a brief 'bio', as I used to work for CSC to British Aerospace, with CICS, COBOL, & DL/1 on mainframe computers.

I hope help log files.

Terry
