  I am a nurse and I constantly wash my hands and use alcohol foam. Despite the use of cream moisturizing hands, my hands are very slippery on the pencil.   Got exactly the same problem on my rx100 m2. Camera does not illuminate as usual. Black screen with the lens. Constantly green flashing power button / stop. Lens will not come to the market button / stop. Plug battery and put it back to + pressing power button triggers lens retract in the camera and back out immediately.
  Hope someone has a solution for this.

• With POWER record pistol grip

  Anyone has a suggestion for a pistol grip that gives a button record boost? Would need a cable that plugs into the remote port? I will be essentially documentary shooting with the F55 with lots of the handheld and the current position of the record button is not ideal for this type of shooting hand.

  Not all Canon products are made in the Japan. My DSLR batteries from China. However, Canon QC is much better than the other third out there, so don't worry too much.

  You know only 1 series battery chargers charge one battery at a time?  The first to finish loading before the other begins.  The only thing you save is that you can connect two batteries at the same time.  But you do save no charge time!
