You will probably need to do a study on how Microsoft Windows 8 to use, especially if you do not have a touch screen.

Two thoughts

1. If you do not have a touch screen, the Adobe Reader Touch may not be the best choice. It is much more limited than the ordinary Adobe Reader. Do you have it chosen for any reason, or any simply because Microsoft has encouraged you in their App Store?

2. try a right click, sometimes seems to substitute for a touch the edge. I know that you can not use the mouse just as if she was tactile.
