Hello adobe191,

In order to take a picture of your PDF document, you may have selected "Edit > take a snapshot.

Click anywhere on the page, then drag a rectangle around the entire contents (including text and images) showing a dialog box:

Once you click OK, your selection is automatically copied to the Clipboard when you release the mouse button.

You can then paste it into another application (i.e. MS Paint) or target any other document.
