I used to be asked if I wanted to allow pop-ups from a site, but not more

Have you looked on the address bar?

You should see an icon in the address bar when an embedded menu is blocked.

If you click on this icon, then you should be able to allow a pop-up and be able to restore the InfoBar (notification).
