  Renamed files are apparently to be sorted by alphabetical order.
  It is the normal behavior of Windows.

  If you open the folder in question and go to... View / details... and

  • What is the extension of file for these photos? If you do not know, download a photo of test to find out.
  • Do a search for the file extension. Enter it in *.jpg or whatever the extension is.
  • As a last resort, you can search for photos with this tool.

• Hard drives 3 TB worked... then I reinstalled Windows 7... and now they are not

  I have two hard drives of 3TO. They worked very well (only reading 2 TB but my motherboard does not support UEFI or everything that is necessary to read all 2 3, but whatever, is good enough, until I update). Question is, I went and formatted a 1 TB HARD drive, installed windows Vista and they showed the same partitions, 2 TB, all data, etc., but as soon as I have upgraded to Windows 7 once again, it will not read them. No material changed and the BIOS is the same. Only thing that has changed is what SATA 2 port they are plugged on my MOBO SATA controller. I also tried to use a partition program to see if he could see them, but it wont. My see BIOS of them still very well. I have the Asus P6T7 MOBO and green caviar 3 TB hard drives, thanks for any help.

  Treat it as a corrupted user file.  To fix this usehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.  Use the new administrator account to do this.  Follow the directions given and everything will be fine and your new admin account should work normally.  Once you have ccnfired you can access, to all your acccess all of your programs and files, you can delete the old user obsolete and corrupt.

  That's all there is to it.  Now that we know, this is the profile and not the system, the solution has been set for us.

  My laptop has plays music - YouTube videos and CD - perfectly. I installed iTunes and now no sound works for any device! My CD will not play (every song has a red x next to it) and I have no idea why! I uninstalled all the Apple stuff, just in case that was the problem. Rebooted the laptop but it has not made a difference. I did a convenience store but it didn't come back on the absence of sound. I use a Dell with Windows Vista basic and Intel Core 13. I do not have any other information that the laptop computer is the property of my employer. Any ideas? It worked perfectly an hour ago!

  Right click on your sound icon in the right area of the taskbar.  Select open.

  Verity Mute is not checked.

  Try to uninstall and reinstall the sound card and check for the issue.

  1. click on Start and type invmgmt.mscand thenEnter. The Device Manager window opens.

  Do you see yellow question mark or exclamation points?

  2. develop sound, video and game controllers.

  3. right click on the sound card, and then select Uninstall.

  4 restart the computer and Windows should now detect the sound card and install the audio drivers.

• How do I reopen it the status bar and the menu bar, I accidentally turned off one of them and now they are not accessible by right-clicking anywhere on the browser

  If you right click on the bar at the top of the page in the browser, you can check and uncheck what bars appear. I accidentally disabled something there and now when I click I can't get any menu to double-check my menu on the right, State bars so that they are visible. Currently they are not visible, I have no way to move or change settings.

  OK, got it fixed, I kept fishing around this site and found an answer. Press the Alt key and the menu bar appear temporarily, long enough to restore the bar to be visible.

  If you are using XP Home Edition, the built-in Administrator account probably doesn't have a defined password. You can start in safe mode, where this account will be selectable when connecting. It allows to connect and change the password of your normal connection.

  To start in safe mode, keep hitting F8 twice a second after turning on the PC until you get the start menu where safe mode is selectable by the up/down arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

  If you are using XP Professional, try to connect using the built-in Administrator account. You don't need to do it in safe mode (although you can if you wish). If your normal login screen is a display of the user symbol and hit ctrl-alt-del twice to get to login to text entry. Type administrator as the user name and try a blank password.

• I have archived emails from a local folder and now they are missing

  I had maybe 100-200 emails in a local folder. I've archived them with the menu. TB flashed a message that they were in the folder "2014". That's nice. Now, where fires is folder 2014? It is not found.

  The help documents say all configure the folder location of archives on the "Copies & folders" section of the page 'account & Settings '. But "Copies & folders" does not exist for local folders. So, where the hell are my emails?

  Technically, TB did not lose messages. He has just scattered to the four winds, where they would never be found.

  He brought back the out of local folders, accounts of mail box from whence they came. There, they were archived per year in different folders.

  I managed to restore them in local folders from a backup. Either way, this procedure was not without White knuckles because I had added a subfolder from the backup, and TB just went crazy mad.

  This isn't for the faint of heart. I can attest that things can go very wrong. Don't forget to save the profile before trying it and makes no changes to the profile while tuberculosis is open.
