  Maximum machines, the license can be activated is 2. Somehow, it seems that on your side the same license can be activated on any 3rd machine as well.

  Activating the license on any other machine, please select the option to disconnect all other devices and try again.

  I have asked two in the same workspace and they have the same authentication or login details. If I switch from one application to the other then it don't ask for connection.
  
  For examle, if I go to the sample application it connection detail is different it ask as demo username and passoword as workspace and then it should be for the details of the connection.

  You neednot pass any value outside, it will be set at login, you just need to go to the shared components > authentication scheme > request > Cookie attributes > Cookie name: for ex: switch

  give a name here. (nothing else to define)
  then go to another application (e.g.: 115) then do the same thing.

  Now check if it works.

  As long as you an update from XP to 7, the only option you have is Custom installation so there is no sense to the current programs with Windows 7 compatibility check. The thing you should be concerned is the material part. Check the 3 main material that requires compatibility: CPU, RAM and disk space.

I have an older version of Win XP Pro I would use in the VM instead of XP Home.  When I try to install XP Pro, I get an error message indicating that Windows will not an older version over a newer version installed.  I guess I could by wake in Win XP pro SP3, then create a bootable disc, but I hope that there is a simpler solution.

  Additional details: I'm under VMware Fusion 2.0.4 (159196).  The MacBook Pro is v.5.2 running OS X v.10.5.6 with a dual core processor Intel 2.66 ghz and 4 GB of RAM.  Only really is setting up dual monitor.  The second screen is a LG Flatron W2353V.  (For those who seek it, relax - it was a gift from my wife who is trying to preserve my view ;).))

  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated and tested as soon as I can.  I'm hoping to use the MacBook as my main computer, but there are a few Windows programs I can't do without (Forte' mail and news Agent, SnagIt! for the lightweight editor).  Thanks in advance. -Tony Lima (TonyLima)

  Normally, the option allows Windows Vista Edition family Basique/Familiale Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium, professional or ultimate edition, but all in 32-bit only. You can perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit release. You can't pass 32-bit to 64-bit.

  You can do a simple disk cleanup to remove stuff (start |) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Cleanup.

  Then you can go to start | Run and type msconfig and disable the startup items, you do not need to run at startup of the computer (if you complete this step on the "dinosaur", then it'll be quicker also).

  Then go to control panel | Add / Remove programs and uninstall all anti-virus software and get www.microsoft.com/security_essentials and also www.malwarebytes.org.  Both are free.

  You can also uninstall any software that you don't need, but as long as it does it all the time, you don't need to uninstall.

  Once you have analyzed the system go to Windows Update and make sure that it is updated.

  Also, go to start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter and defragment the hard drive (this allows you to optimize the performance and will also help the "dinosaur").

  Then, if you can still stand the machine (), you can transfer any information or files that you want (for OE, for example, see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6).

  If you install 11 items on the same machine, install 11 items and simply convert your catalog to the Catalog Manager.

  Otherwise, if you want to move the content make a system backup and restore it on the new machine file > backup and restore catalog catalog.
