  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "Open Documents in the new tab in the same window.

  Thank you very much for your answers. As you suggest, I went to the help/updates and found that 3 points were scored update, Manager, 13 Photoshop and first elements 13 elements.   It seems that you have reinstalled Windows XP on a different partition. In this case, you will not be able to use the installer on another.

  You will need to reinstall all the programs on the new facility and also, redo the settings.
