I want window 7

I got windows 7 on my computer when I bought it.  I had a big problem, that my man tech says my 'key' would not work and installed windows 8.   I HATE windows 8 I want 7 back.  I don't have a key.  The computer was delivered, there is 7 years old.  I called Microsoft they said I have to buy a new program of Windows 7, which will have a new key.

Or I should talk to Toshiba.  I called Toshiba tech number, I've been waiting for 42 minutes with plug to a real person.

Help

I'm going out of the country in a few days for 2 months.  I NEED my computer working properly

Thank you

    Hello

If you are considering buying new PCs, you can go ahead and buy Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or enterprise. These editions of Windows 7 supports Windows XP Mode, where you can use all programs Windows XP. You can also use the Windows compatibility mode to run Windows XP programs in Windows 7. • I want windows 7 ultimate instead of premium windows 7, how do I on my cell without spending a dime?

I want windows 7 ultimate on my laptop, instead of Home premium. How to do that for free? I don't want to have to spend a penny to do this conversion.

Sorry, but Windows 7 Ultimate is not available for free.

First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click the option to purchase a key. Wait while loading of the Express Upgrade page, click on the Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade to buy it.

Click Next, fill in your details (it is important that you do this because the product key will be sent to you as a backup in case you need to reinstall) enter your credit card information, click next to begin the upgrade, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement , click upgrade, wait while the software updates, (it may take 10 minutes or more, depending on the case, updates are required), your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify its update of the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a windows will pop up by notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate your files, programs and settings stored, proceed to activate Windows 7 Ultimate.

  • A new Satellite A500/026, but I want Windows XP

J just bought a new A500 and I think its just great the only problem is that I don't like windows 7.
I want to go back to windows xp.

Can I do this and retains all the features of toshiba?

    Hello

If you want to use Win XP, then you need to install Win XP using the MS Windows XP clean CD.
But the fact is that Win XP are not available for A500 because it is a new machine and new laptops come preinstalled with the latest Windows 7.

You will need to search drivers Win XP at your own hand and you will not be able to use all the tools preinstalled by Toshiba, these tools are available only on the image of Toshiba and are not ready for download.

I posted this in another section, silly me has not looked through all categories before posting. SORRY!

    Hi all...

I have ordered an A350-20s, (4gig RAM, T6400) and want to remove Vista to replace with Windows 7 but have some questions.

    1, should I go for 32-bit or 64-bit?
2 if I go for 64-bit, that I need to update the BIOS?
3, I had a quick glance at the download page, I was wondering if the drivers and BIOS for Vista will be allowed to use for Windows 7?

    Please contact your opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. definitely 64 bit, since 32-bit does not accept the full capacity of RAM you have.

    2. no update necessary BIOS.

    3. you only need to update your BIOS if your computer is having problems. Since your laptop is new, it will probably be the latest BIOS in any case.
