I would like to make a few Rainbow extruded 3D text color and I want to do my brass shine like polished brass.

So I have a project that I learned, and I made what I believe to be a lot of progress.  I'm bit puzzled now, so once more, I have to you guys for more awesome help!

Currently, the text looks like this:

I want the text itself to look like this:

So of course, I want to make the brass really shine.  To look like polished brass.  I have all in 3D because I made a video of the rotation of the peace symbol and I really like that.

I have a bunch of other things I want to do.  But I'm trying to teach myself slowly as I go along and ask for help I will.  However, if anyone knows a good book, current line, or the training material which can help that would be great.  Any point in the right direction would be great.  Thank you all for your help!

It seems that your text layer is a 3D object - which is correct? If this is the case, you will need to apply your gradient to adequate physical property. Most likely the front material inflation. Your text also looks like it is a little before you sign of peace, because a shadow on this subject in the text. So if you want the Rainbow text reflected in the peace sign, you may need to apply the gradient of the Rainbow on the back of the text. You must also raise the value of reflection for brass, as it is almost completely flat at the moment.
