  As you mentioned a few times that happens when you move, I was wondering if HP 3D Driveguard may be responsible because there meant to park the heads of the hard drive in case the machine broke etc.  Maybe it's parking the drive heads in response to even the smallest movement for some reason any.

  But I think I have an idea why this is happening. In general, I use Distiller to convert EPS or PS files as PDF files.
