  • How to change the template used in the photo gallery module

I noticed the photo galleries are rendered as an HTML table and I would like to make a small change to the way in which the Gallery is rendered on the page.

Basically, I want to just wrap a DIV around the < img > tag so that I can control the appearance of the image through my own CSS.

In my view, there is the possibility to change the Module Templates, but the photo gallery module is not listed there.

Where can I get the model used for a photo gallery?

Otherwise, I'll need display the images myself using a flow XML and jQuery, but I prefer to use the modules of British Colombia when I can.

    Hi David,

There is no model for the photo galleries. But if you use Firebug you can find the css values and add your own modification by adding CSS by the switch as well as the current gallery to your own page and use them! Value to write to the css gallery.

  • Why cant I see each photo in my library of images, as I can see the in the photo gallery?

Is there a setting that I can see what each individual photo is before you open it. As I can see them in the photo gallery. This becomes a problem because when I want to upload a photo, I can't tell exactly what image he is until I open it, but as you know when you upload a photo once you open it it downloads automatically. As I said I can see them in the photo gallery, but I am not able to upload photos. Whenever I have download it takes me to my library of images.

I already live 2012 photo gallery. I have no problem to see them that way. My problem is when I am on a site and you want to upload a photo, it is the case for all the sites I tried, when I click on download need me in my photo library. Whoever you acceding from the Start button in previous versions of windows. That's where I do not see what image I choose until I open it, but once I open it it then download it immediately. The Gallery of live photos of 2012 is supposed to be my Gallery by default photo, but when downloading it will never live photos, but directly to the library of photos under documents. Is there a setting that I can change so it will not go there, or there at - it a way to open all those in this library, so they can be seen?

  • Windows XP: desktop icons changed to the same names, but retained their original functions

    Hello

I know that put at the point before, but the problem was never properly solved. I have Windows XP. While I was changing the name of one of my Office Word Document files yesterday, all of a sudden all my desktop icons changed under the same name. I can't tell you how it happened. 'My computer', 'My Documents', 'Trash' 'Internet Explorer', 'Adobe Reader', 'Corel Photo House', "MS Paint", "HP Solution Center" and eight other program launch icons, as well as 12 document records and 25 files of Word document on my desk, all had the same name change that I'd just been undertaken with one Word on my desktop files. Each icon has yet launched the successful operation or properly open to its original content.

I called my friends in the Geek Squad to two different Best Buys and they had never heard of him. I called Microsoft Corp. in Washington State and spoke to someone there. He had never heard of this before but found a couple of reports, one in 2006 and one in 2009. He said that he asked around the House Microsoft and if he could find an answer, post it on the forum.

No one was able to tell me how it could happen and no one could tell me how to fix it.

I then, on my own, done a restore of the system in two days. He restored the original names on all the items that I have listed above and it restored the original names on all 12 desktop file folders. But it does not restore the names under the 25 Word document files. Those that I had to open individually to see what they were and then rename them manually the original name. Would enjoy to hear your opinion on this.

    Pete Speth

    Hi Pete,.

I tried what you wrote... Select all the files, rename one file and all the files are renamed automatically - as I thought - but for a change of my computer, my network places and My Document obtained renamed the sting that it represents in the registry! I tried CTRL + Z file names seem to be restored, but not for the default icons!... Seems interesting...

Perform the control and analysis of file system (CFS) auditor if this solves the problem. SFC toolscans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

  • file does not open in the photo gallery

Photo Gallery will not open a file with. Extension of THU.  Don't know where that. Extension of THU came.  What can I do to fix the file to open in the photo gallery?

It may or may not be possible to do it since THU files are usually associated to the command and Conquer Renegade and not a type of image file.  The ' * .thu ' files are also thumbnails of images used in the origins of the family.  You should be able to see these files with one of these programs (according to them created).

Try simply by changing the type of file in JPG format and see if it works (although, if so, it may show a very tiny picture).  Don't forget to change if the time where the fact so that it works with any program it is really associated with (if you have it).

Go to start / Default programs / associate a file or Protocol with a program and a scroll to the game and reset the default value to the photo gallery (you will probably have to go) but that can get dirty any program, they are really associated if you use so change it back it when done if it was associated with another program validates.

If this does not work, I know no conversion program for this file type.

Photo Gallery doesn't have an option to add a
text on the face of a photo.

You can add text with Microsoft Paint:

And... I agree with sohail khan... Picasa is a very
    useful application:

The free Picasa software has several options for adding
    text of photos.

(FWIW... it is always a good idea to create

    software or updates)

After you download and install Picasa...
Open the program and double left click
an image to open the editing functions.
