icons on the too small launch in vista

In XP, it is possible to have small or large icons in the launch bar. This seems to be missing in vista. Is it possible to have large icons in the taskbar on Vista. Thank you

First, make sure that the taskbar is unlocked, right-click on an empty space in the bar tasks and then click "Lock the taskbar" in the context menu that appears if it is locked. Then, right click somewhere in a box empty where you find the quick launch icons, click on 'View', then put a check mark to select "large icons".
Note: If the taskbar is locked the option 'View' in the context menu will not show.

  • Toolbar icons - can't do icons only and too small icons

    General complaint

SO VERY frustrating to have to deal with the changes that are completely unnecessary and unwanted! It looks like Chrome now. If I wanted to use Chrome, I would use Chrome! Why Firefox feels that it is necessary to set a watch to work?

Cannot get rid of the text of the icon

Although the option bar Tools Customize is set to icons only (default), the text does not disappear and leave me with only the icons.

I had a custom (with my own selection of buttons) toolbar and he survived the upgrade to FF29, but after I installed Classic theme restaurateur, I lost it again (who had had a problem with FF28, where I he would suddenly lose at the start and had to rebuild).

I have rebuilt the toolbar after the upgrade to 29 and he showed the icons only in the beginning. But I repositioned the new toolbar among the toolbars another and this is the text of the icon insisted appearing with icons. I can't get rid of the text now.

    Icon size too small

The new icons are microscopic! Even when I set the size to the largest, that I can find, in all settings, I can find it, they at least half as before.

I installed the Restorer Classic theme, but affecting the icons large NAV only applies to the top row icons (where the address bar), not added on toolbars or manually added toolbars. Zoom text applies only to the displayed web page, not in Firefox itself. (Also, large nav buttons are barely visible and seriously ugly; they are not simply a larger version of the default icons).

How can I report the usual size of the icons of the previous version?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    1. install Classic restaurateur theme
    2. at the top right of firefox click the button 3 stripes and then customize
    3. at the bottom, you will see settings to show only icons pretty icons and text. There are also small buttons etc. These are all added by the Restorer of classic theme. It also fixes the problem invisible inactive tabs and tiny refresh button problem.

  • Icon of the item Outlook in Windows Vista

I sometimes copy important emails from Outlook on my desktop to keep. Recently, I found that the icons for all these files 'Élément Outlook' have changed envelope (associated with Outlook 2007 emails) on the generic windows icon (associated with the files to which no specific program is assigned).

I can still open these emails without problem but when stored with many other files, it makes it difficult to identify as email without the envelope icon. I don't know how it started and so I have no idea how to do to reverse the trend. There are people who have posted similar problems on the forums, but I could not find any solution in response.

    Can anyone help?

  • Task now shows only icons on the bar, no words, in Vista Home Premium 64-bit

When I used to run a program it show up under the taskbar, between the quicklaunch & the system tray. It would be about a 1.5 inch rectangle which would include information on the program, or even what was the program. It would give status percentage of disks engraved, scroll the titles of the songs of songs that played in winamp, display the title Web pages, so I could see that the internet explore or firefox icon I had to click on. now I just get TINY little icons, barely larger than their counterparts of task of quicklaunch bar. They are much more difficult to click quickly or even know if they are right, it is so boring

I went through all the taskbar properties and options, windows areo off and I don't know what to do or even how to look for answers on this issue.

  • THE too small Textfield Autocomplete

Hey guys, eventually find the answers to my previous questions. Here's a small question about the Textfield Autocomplete.

In my table, I have more than 1,000 recordings for someone to choose and make it easier, I've added the textfield autocomplete. However, the record for the "longest" is 62 characters long, and when I add this server behavior in the text field, it goes back to 20 characters long.

I tried to use size = "70" attribute nothing is and even tried using the width = "400", and none worked. He still missed back to 20 characters. Here is the code for the textfield object:

    < input name = "bpo_name" class = "blueprintList" id = "bpo_name" size = "70" wdg:recordset = "rsBPO" wdg:subtype = "DynamicSearch" wdg:type = "widget" wdg:displayfield = "bpo_name" wdg:norec = "10" wdg:defaultoptiontext = "" wdg: selected = "Please enter Blueprint Name" / >

    style = "width: 400px" / >

    It is on windows?
If yes - open Internet Explorer.
Change the default text size in 'view' to normal.

reason - the help files are .chm files that use IE settings.

  • I could not find the button to make the icons on the taskbar smaller

I went to this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-make-new-firefox-look-like-old-firefox and it said to press a button on the bottom of the page, this button is not there for me

    1. Taskbar does not part of Firefox, this is a feature of Windows.
    2. Have you installed the Classic theme restaurateur extension? 'Buttons' and 'Mode' part of the CTR, only not part of the default installation.

    Hi Gimatech,

What version of the AI you run (is it 17.1?). This feature is only available in 17.1. If other applications are scaling correctly, it means that you have already set the scaling in the control panel. Can you please share the percentage of scaling of your display settings. or paste a screen shot here.

  • Vista icons too small

My icons on the taskbar went very small so that you have to peer at them to see what they are - I'm sure that's not how they used to be! -Very small & no text...

Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

It's just my icons that were too small.

However, after the foregoing advice I managed to get my PC to do a system restore to a date for a long time, while it's not exactly practical it has now solved the problem, although I have no idea what was causing the problem. The icons seem to be not bigger than see you on Win7, in any case problem solved now!

  • Too small to read the text Windows 7 App stacked.

I have WIndows 7 and I chose to always combine my task bar buttons.  Unfortunately, I did something (and have no idea what) who did the too small to read the text of the stacked applications descriptions.  Infact, the icons seem to very small and cropped on the bottom and the text is clipped on the top and bottom of each line next to each icon.

I should add that my test of the icon of the office and the size of the icons are both fine and did not appear to change.  It is only the text and the icon in the stacked list of applications in the space bar & task Pinned.  The text and the icon are also cultivated even if the application is not stacked.

I have a picture of the issue of a screenshot, but don't know how to reach here.

    Charles.

    Hi Charles,

Maybe it's that the program may have changed some of your registry settings and this is what is causing this problem. If it has not been too long, you can try perfomring a restore before, when this problem occurred.

Alternatively, you can try an in place upgrade to windows 7 described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2255099

  • Cs6 programs too small icons

    Hello

I just installed CS6 on my laptop.  All the components (programs), the icons are much too small for aging eyes.  I use Windows 7 and I have increased the size of the icons and text mean in th accessibility settings.  This doesn't seem to affect the Adobe programs and there is nothing in each program; preferences to allow you to change the size of the icons (and text).

    How can I do this?

    Thank you

    SA-webness 1600 x 800 is a very high-resolution screen 17 inches.  You have a special high pixel per inch?

For many of our applications, we recommend a resolution of 1280 x 800.  You can find a reference to this in the minimum requirements for Photoshop CS6 to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-photoshop.html#main _ Photoshop_CS6_system_requirements.

I checked several of our other applications, and they share the same recommendation of resolution.
