  I know that the contacts are connected to your ID blackberry, but I still recommend you back up your device using Desktop Manager before continuing.

  Hoping someone can help with a suggestion.  We are a family of Blackberry, with MOM and dad having Z30.  Old Z10 MOM works very well (a couple of years updated Z30), but it is not currently attached to a network provider.  Children still use the apps, games and wifi.  I was jumping to set up BBM for our young son, to communicate on the wifi only with parents.  The Z10 is always implemented with Blackberry ID MOM and its applications.  Is it possible to set up a second account on the Z10 BBM?  Or is the only solution to wipe the device and set up again with a brand new blackberry ID for son?

  You can have the BBID even on both devices, but BBM can be on a single device.

  So, while you might use MOM BBID on the Z10 for BlackBerryWorld and apps, you can use BBM on it or this operation will change BBM Z30 MOM for the Z10.

  My suggestion would be to put in place the Z10 with it is own BBID so BBM is usable, of course, you will lose all the persistent purchased apps BBID MOM.

  BBM itself has a strange oddity-BBWorld they show is not available at the Q10, which isn't accurate.

  Channels of BBM is an add-on to BBM, and it is a beta, not available via BBWorld product. You must jump on BetaZone to know about it.

• BBM blackBerry Q10 pine got changed

  My problem with the BBM Pin code is as follows - a few years ago I had the BlackBerry 9900, and I got a pine BBM assigned to this device. Later, this device was physically destroyed and I started to use BBM on Samsung Galaxy (the same PIN BBM).

  Recently, I purchased BlackBerry Q10 and started using BBM with the same PIN (from BlackBerry 9900). It wasn't a problem, until that I've updated BBM a few days ago and then I noticed that my BBM pin has changed.

  Does anyone know why it happened and what to do with this issue? I mean, finally, I will create a list of contacts with my new BBM PIN code, but there is no guarantee that this change suddenly won't happen again.

  Good question, but so many numbers makes me headache lol just kidding. Unfortunately, this is not how it works. Different way with numbers of mail or telephone in our map. Blackberry PIN is connected with a single device and cannot be moved to another device. Your previous BBM with 123456 contacts are safe and always with you in your new PIN BBM 654321. To your new customers/friends you must inform your PIN or invite them.

  Technology can create something new. You can always tell them your new pin code otherwise you must continue to use your old device.

• BBM Blackberry id will not associate

  Recently, I exchanged a worker from a blackberry to a classic blackberry q5 co.

  -We did a full backup using the q5

  -then transferred the blackup to the classic blackberry

  -for the launch of bbm it is said 'transfer of your data from BBM surveys' and is stuck on this screen and is for 3 days now

  -restarted the phone does not help

  -loading blackberry mixture, went to bbm and he said just to restart blackberry mixture over and over again.

  -changed the date and time on the phone, handed over running the phone, re entered the password and again, it is just sitting at "transfer your data from BBM surveys.

  -I went on his old phone q5 that was erased, connected to bbm using the initial configuration, before starting the bbm and once again, it is the message "restoring your data from BBM surveys" and didn't budge, left on the screen for about 30 minutes and no luck.

  It's as if his BBM is stuck in limbo and custom transfer fully... Any ideas how I can fix this problem? I found a few old messages on the blackberry download beta apps but they were 2-3 years. Beta apps that were used to solve the problem of no longer exist.

  This has been resolved by a message by: saudg87 (I followed these steps and 6 hours later the phone associated with new).

• Z10 BBM blackBerry calendar sharing - error

  I just found a problem with the creation and sharing of inputs to a Z10 within a calendar group BBM...

  -I'm in a band that consists of two phones - my Z10 and BB Curve 9360 my wife, allows us to share the group calendar appointments.  She put the first group and therefore his phone is the group administrator.

  -If one of us creates a calendar BBM entry it shows an hour early on my phone.  On his phone, it displays correctly (for example.) 16:00 - 17:00, but on my phone to the appears as 15:00 - 16:00.

  -If I change it on my phone, and correct the time it shows correct for a few seconds until that both phones synchronize and then mine comes back wrong right from the beginning.

  -If I create a local calendar on my phone and then share by polls BBM, the local designation is still correct, but shows the shared appointment in my calendar this time initially.

  I checked that both phones are set to the same time zone London and auto-Update, I'm guessing that perhaps one version of BBM (curve = OS7.1 vs BB10) uses DST and the other Zulu time or something similar?

  If there is a difficulty of parameters I'd like to know, if Blackberry Please note!

  Everything worked perfectly when I got a torch and she had an earlier model curve.  This seems to be one of those things where every step that phones move actually means a step backwards in terms of being able to do something in a business like way.
