Id2 can open ID4 inx files

We test InDesign CS4. (We currently use CS2).  Our original files will open in CS4; When done with them, we export as .inx so they open again in CS2.  But CS2 can not open the .inx file.  We thought that was what inx to, but maybe not.

Hypothetical: If we open a file inherited in CS4 and save it, have we lost the ability to use again in CS2?

Thank you.  Peter

  • I can open an .aspx file, but I can't print the file?

I open an .aspx file and fill in the empty fields.  When I go to print the file he ask is if I want to record on documents.  I click on Ok, but then I can't find the file.  What should I do to print the file directly?

Then, you use Internet Explorer - browser (which can open the .aspx files).  If you are having problems printing from Internet Explorer.  You should repost your question in Forum Internet Explorer: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/threads where the specialists of IE issues (such as printing in Internet Explorer) will be more than happy to help you with your problem.

  • Is there an application that can open the DLI files in addition to InDesign?

I create custom training documents, and they got too large to be supported in MS Word. So, I am looking at switching to InDesign, but not all members of my team will have the power of InDesign. For example, my publishers just to modify the copy as needed. For such a minor work, I don't want to buy 10 copies of InDesign. Is there an inexpensive application that can open the files in the DLI to minor changes? If not, has anyone used Photoshop to create a document of 200 pages graphically rich and used for editing text elements?

    Why all the text?

Editors could easily shown how placing pictures or change the layer options in a PDF or PSD file.

InCopy is certainly the best way to manage this workflow, IMO. Everything else is a workaround.

  • Can open Firefox XPCOM file is missing. He can either uninstall and cannot download the new exe. What can I do?

Equipped with Windows Vista. Stop down my PC two day and when I booted up it would not start. Click on the button of power again and it started in safe mode and asked me to run a repair program that I made. After that Firefox does not open and I get the message "XPCOM is missing." everything else works. Tried to uninstall Firefox and cannot do it either. the uninstaller from Control Panel does not work and I found the Mozilla Firefox uninstall Help files and which will not be executed. I get the windows on the screen asking me to continue, or cancel and when I hit continue the dialog box just disappears and nothing happens. Can not download Firefox exe file again. I am running Trend Micro security PC.

You need to reinstall, you don't, because none of your bookmarks, history etc. WILL NOT BE LOST.
Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
  • I have to do something wrong because none of Adobe software can open my RAW files.

None of the adobe software recognizes my D7100 Nikon RAW files. I had no problem at the opening of the raw files of my D5000.   I even tried to convert them to DNG, but that no longer works. I used Lightroom, Photoshop, bridge, 13 Photoshop elements, Photoshop 8.  I could not see my Raw files in windows, until I downloaded the codec NEC... and, of course, I can see them in the Nikon software.  I have 8 folders of photos taken with the new camera.  In the last folder, I can see and work with my RAW files in a single folder, there is a RAW file, I can work with that.  All the rest are empty and will not open.  In a single folder, Lightroom will not even appear JPEG files. I shoot in RAW + FINE (JPEG). I downloaded all the files in the same way.  I'll try to download again, but not all of them are still on the card.  I even tried to convert them to DNG, but if they cannot be considered as RAW, they convert to DNG. The D7100 has been out for a while, so I can't believe that Adobe would not work for her.

You've probably used old Nikon software to transfer or view the naves and the Nikon software will corrupt files, making them unrecognizable software Adobe.

The solution, in the future, is to avoid touching the naves with Nikon software and use either utilities or Lightroom, himself, to view and move the files to the memory card in the computer.

For existing images, you can reverse the corruption with a utility on this page:

  • I can OPEN an ISO file in Encore

Again, CS4, I created an ISO a few months ago, can I open in again and make changes to its creation?

No, and not even if you had a folder that you have built in.

You can use one of the iso software players to mount iso and extract the individual files (the same result as if you burned the iso to disk and then copied the files on it).  You can then try to extract the vobs in again, or rename and import, or convert.  This is not an option that is terrible if you have menu files around and do not have the files video sources.

In my days DVDIt, I played with their 'open DVD' (or somesuch) that allowed this.  She added another directory on the DVD and other files, and then allowed you to open and modify.

  • I can open an apk file in windows 7

I have a corner it's an android operating system. I want to use windows vista or windows 7 for applications

    can it be done?

    Hi JonKlotz,

.apk file extension only works on OS Android and not on Windows.

However, there are a few third-party applications that you can use to develop applications for Android

Note: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
