  I have an E420s, I had Windows 7 top and could use the Dolby Home Theater thing in speaker properties > Dolby, it was just power and 3 modes (music/movie/game), and I could notice a huge difference when it turn on and off when listening to music.

  After that I have upgraded to windows 8 it does simply not more.

  All Audio/Conxant drivers are updated.

  and when I tried to install drivers E420s Dolby v4 (but for win7, cuz theres no version win8) and got an error, something like:

  «The current version of the Dolby audio driver is 7.2.8000.14 and the software application expects that the version of the driver 7.2.7000.7.»

  Hi all

  I have a problem with home theater dolby (DBT as I call it) today. I explain it. well, that's how. usually when DBT is off, the volume is normally low and all those that somehow the normal speaker settings. When I click on the DBT icon on the tray, usually it brings up 3 profile which is film, music & game. But today, it does not work. whenever I have I turn it on, there is no change in sound at all (volume, bass, pitch, etc.). even the equalizer slider made no change on the sound produced by the speaker. I don't test it on my helmet, speaker external and theres no change. but the noise is always present and no change to dolby. can someone provide me with a solution?

  OK NVM, I fix it. After installing dolby advance audio v2, I opened, select any profile, then end task in the process from the Task Manager, uninstalling dolby advance audio v2, then install dolby home theater v4. It works fine now.

  There is no driver for windows 10 for your machine but let try 2 ways, all first try to install the windows 8.1 driver it may be helpful (see below):

  If its is not working so the best solution is to go back to the previous version of windows

• Windows 10 Dolby Home Theater V4 does not

  On my Lenovo Edge 15 (BestBuy exclusive model), I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 and found that the Dolby Home Theater V4 software does not work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and software and still cannot program to work. The program opens and displays options, but Equalizer does not move (as it was on Windows 8.1) and it doesn't have a difference in the audio output.

  All of this worked before my Windows 10 transition. The audio quality is very thin and hard to hear without this software, I hope someone has a solution. Thank you very much for your help!

  Dolby Home Theater is not supported / not functional on Windows 10, for compatibility reasons.
  The official recommendation is to first uninstall it before upgrading to Windows 10.

  Is it possible that I can use the good old Dolby Home Theater on Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit? Even when I try and install the old driver on the CD I have installed Dolby Digital, which is extremely ugly, buggy and totally devoid of features. Not to mention that it does not work with Firefox (does not detect noise at all). When used with a music player like Winamp or AIMP3, it is impossible to set custom equalizer. When you move the sliders they go back to their previous position.

  I entered - you have a problem with the installation of the Dolby home theater V4.  You were able to uninstall the old driver, but do not install the updated driver.

  Dolby with drivers, I guess you are trying to update a driver from the HP website.

  You can use the verify option now to have any applicable software and drivers for your automatic detection system.

  Please check that you have the Cyberlink PowerDVD and Media Player installed power.

  I noticed that you got the message that you need to install first CESP but the installation fails.

  Here is a link to the WindowsSevenForum which may help.  "CESP shall be installed" when you try to activate the Dolby Home Theater.

  If this does not work I would try a HP PC - refresh your PC to solve problems (Windows 8)

  When I checked the specification of your laptop, I noticed it came with Free Dos.

  You did all your Windows updates?

  Dolby Home Theater V4 does not work on my computer after the upgrade to Windows 10.

  By clicking on the icon of Dolby in the control panel will give message "Cannot find file.startup!

  Try driver IDT HD Audio v6.10.6498.0 following sp65012.exe or sp65196.exe packages

  Just run a normally (i.e. necessary Win7 No. nor Win8 compatibility mode) and it should install the driver for audio 6498 IDT Win10 and restart the computer.

  Then after installing the audio driver IDT, search on google for the v7.2.7000.4 of the DolbyHomeTheater.msi file.

  I think that Lenovo has Dolby Home Theater v4 software download here or here.

  I forgot to make a backup of the disk D:\ before formatting the hard drive on my Yoga 11 s.

  Now, I'm trying to reinstall all the software/drivers that were previously installed.

  I got most of them through download, but I'm unable to install Dolby Home Theater v4.

  I clicked to update the device driver.

  I chose the folder that had the W8-64 drivers (C:\drivers\Conexant Audio Drivers\W8-64) and he said that the appropriate driver has been installed. I then realized to go for my own driver and was able to install the Conexant Smart Audio HD driver.

  Now, I was able to install Dolby.

  The only thing I can think is for what reason Windows believes it was the best sound driver.

  I have upgraded to Windows 10 last night and I had problems with Dolby sound since then, I have reinstalled several times and followed all the advice that I found here, but my problems exist currently:

  • If I turn on the Dolby Digital Plus sound > playback > properties > Dolby, after a song, or any audio finished playing (goes inactive) it will turn off back
  • Dolby Home Theater (with the equalizer, etc.) does not at all, the spectral Viewer at the top of the application stays off all the time, it enable and disable or change the settings that it does nothing

  I have tried many different methods to solve this problem, and I am currently using the latest Realtek/Dolby audio driver from acer (6.0.1.7040 for Windows 8.1) support site.

  I use an Acer Aspire V3 - 571 G, Windows 10 x 64.

  I would appreciate any support.

  Dolby Digital Plus a miraculously started working, although it seems very different from the last time that I used it (he was much smaller and said Home Theater rather than Digital Plus) but it's better than nothing.

  I had sound problems with my Aspire V3 (571 G). I heard a noise dry while listening to music and watching videos. It was really boring. I thought it was a problem with the Dolby Home Theater v4, so I went to the control panel > uninstall a program > cinema dolby Home > repair. It does not solve the problem, so I went to C:\ and copied the 'Dolby PCEE4' folder, then I uninstalled the thought of Dolby Home Theater v4 that I will reinstall it by putting the folder to the directory. While it has been uninstalled, I discovered that the problem was not the home Dolby cinema, instead, it was a kind of audio enhancement, so I disabled it by clicking on Audio > manage audio devices > Speakers > properties > improvements and I ticked the box: "turn off all sound effects. The sound is fine, it does not sound dry but now I can't reinstall Dolby Home Theater v4. I put the 'Dolby PCEE4' folder to the C:\ directory and it did not work. I opened the case and found a command called 'install' so I ran the command, but it created only 15000 + (3,79 GB) files in the folder and the home theater Dolby has not yet been installed. So I went to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers and I entered my name of the model and the OS (Windows 8), but it wasn't a "Home Cinema Dolby' application or a driver available for download. How can I reinstall the Dolby Home Theater v4?

  Think, it comes with the realtek drivers, cause after the failure of windows 8 and install the drivers for it on windows 7, it was the home theater dolby. And the realtek drivers
