  Are you referring to Windows Sidebar or the taskbar?

  RE: Sidebar
  By default, windows sidebar is on the side OF the screen.
  Where is your sidebar? Left side?
  There are only 2 options: either to the left or right.

  How to choose where Sidebar is placed:
  Start button > Control Panel > column on the left, click Control Panel Home > click on appearance and personalization > click Properties of the sidebar > under display sidebar on this side of the screen, select right > click OK when finished.

  RE: taskbar
  If you really want to say Taskber is moved to the right of the screen and you want only it down, use this method:
  Rest your cursor inside the taskbar, right click > see if there is a check mark to "Lock this taskbar" if so, uncheck it > now left-click inside the taskbar and HOLD > drag the slider down > drop PREY > make sure you check 'lock the taskbar '.

  I'm having problems with my HP laptop and updated KB2345886 who don't want to not install. I reinstalled it and to start my computer it goes up to 75% and fails.  I ran will fix problems with Windows Update but troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem. I can't go back to restore Windows installed date of origin being on 15 October. When the update ran for the first time it was looking for Microsoft Works 9.0 disk I did not because it was preinstalled on my computer. I cancelled and uninstalled the app, but I still get the error. I don't know if the update is looking for a component of Microsoft Works 9.0 in the registry.

  (And Norton) McAfee applications are known to not uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.

  1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  4 reset the IE8 advanced settings by http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Reset-Internet-Explorer-settings

  5. open IE8 32 bit (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT and modes difficulty then AGGRESSIVE. [1]

  6. restart a last time & test.

  This error occurs when I go to install an Air fortress .msi file.  It's a pop-up probably from Microsoft Windows XP.  I uninstalled McAfee Antivirus (Enterprise Edition and the tool of the EPO).  I still get the error.  Very frustrating.  Thank you for answering!

  Downloaded by chance was to Linksys trying to down load a driver for my network wireless & instead it turned out to be the driver Whjz I have went to my programs uninstall, but it can't do its job. My Microsoft Essentials said he eliminated the Trojan horse with her, but it's always on my programs list, if you click on it, it only gives you the oftion change, if you click on edit, it stop uninstalling short & you said you are not an administrateu.   Hello Jon Wayne,

  I suggest that you try to do the system restore on your computer. You can follow the steps below to do a restore of the system on your computer:

  a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.

  b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

  (c) in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

  d. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

  e. click Finish.

  Make sure that you choose a restore point prior to the point when you started to have the question before download the Linksys driver.

  Maybe the following will help:

  Sometimes most of the person who
  trying to select multiple by holding the CTRL

  Copies are created when you are unable to
  completely release the mouse button before
  you move the pointer to another file. When a group

  Whenever I start my computer, I get a series of pop-up boxes that talk about "Please wait while windows configures the State" and then the one that says "the component that you are trying to use is on a CD Rom, please insert".  I have no idea what it is, and I have no disc to put on this line?  If I hit the buttons cancel these boxes enough times to go, but it's annoying and there is notihing badly with the operation of the computer, after I get rid of the boxes.  No idea how to stop this from happening again?  I did all the steps that have been mentioned earlier and no results.  I even did a system recovery.  I don't know what to delete.  Please help thanks
