identify the appleworks files

I have on my hard drive to a number of AppleWorks files. I still have an old PowerBook with AppleWorks installed so I could - and want to-use to open all my AppleWorks files and save them is a different format (they are for the most part, spreadsheets). However, I do not know how to find them: they are scattered everywhere. I could search by extension - except that they don't seem to have an extension. When I get info, it has no extension (and "hide extension" is grayed out) and they are described as "file executable Unix»

Is it possible that I can identify, except through all my files (all 15 million of them...) one by one and guess...? It would be better than nothing, if I could get all the executable files from Unix, but I don't know how do either...

Except that I now find that my version of AppleWorks cannot save as anything other than AppleWorks and ClarisWorks - there seems to be no installation "export." It seems that copy - paste is the only way to get the contents of an AppleWorks spreadsheet in a NeoOffice one (which I suppose is more laborious that open and save in a different format). Unless anyone has any other ideas?

    Hello;

    That's what I'd do:

    Primary backup (change in your directory as needed)

    RMAN RUN {
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/df_t%t_s%s_p%p' database;
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/al_t%t_s%s_p%p' archivelog all;
    backup current controlfile for standby format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/sb_t%t_s%s_p%p';
    release channel d1;
    }

    Move the backup and duplicate like this:

    rman target sys/password@PRIMARY auxiliary /

    RMAN> run {
    allocate channel C1 device type disk;
    allocate auxiliary channel C2 device type disk;
    duplicate target database for standby nofilenamecheck;
    }

  • What are the unnecessary files and is at - it issues removing them?

    I need to free up some space because I ran. But I'm afraid if I delete some unnecessary files, it will have an impact on my PC.

    What type of files 'undesirables '?

    Please be more explicit. In general, Yes, because they are "undesirable".

    You can clean everything in the folder % TEMP except files currently locked. Is better to clean temp folder immediately after restarting Windows.

    What do you mean that you have run out of free space. A tool like CCleaner will identify the "junk" files that can be deleted.

    Hi, when I opened a project first wants me to identify the source files but it fails to tell me that he's looking for! Anyone know why?

    Looks like you're on Mac El Capitan (10,11, x), is - that correct? If Yes, some dialogs changed with 10.11 Mac and affected dialog boxes are more display the title bar, which is where this information is displayed (this affects a number of applications, not just the first one). Is a question that is being investigated because he was not a problem on Mac OS 10.10.x.

    FWIW, in the latest versions of CC, the feature has been added to the Media link dialog box, which displays the path information in the dialog box. I know that it is not for you, since you are using CS6, but FYI if you plan to update.

    I'm trying to analyze the drivers INF file to identify the architecture of operating system supported by them. For this, I am referring to the MSDN ' SECTION MANUFACTURER INF ' link:

  • HowTo: identify the readonly/locked files in LightRoom

    Dear member of the community.

    If you're like me, you'll score sometimes (Nikon calls it "lock" - at the level of the file system image is simply marked read-only) a photo in the field.  The idea being that:

    1. you don't want to accidentally remove a superb photo of the device, and
    2. marking photography makes it easy to identify the winners of the real in post-production.

    As far as I know, there is no easy way to ask to Lightroom:

    • 'don't show me the photos that have been marked read-only', or
    • "Name the files read-only red.

    I thought it would be a relatively simple task, but for the life of me I can't find a simple way to achieve this.  I missed something, or is this all just not supported by Lightroom?

    Optionally you can provide guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    ADDITIONAL CONTEXT

    • Nikon D7100
    • 4.4 Lightroom
    • I copy my photos from the memory card to the hard disk using a memory card reader.  The files are then "added" to Lightroom, thus keeping the file read-only attribute.

    You're right: Lightroom does not support this feature, and it requires a script or plugin.

    Perhaps the best way is to use a simple script (not a plugin), I wrote - it's free:

    Script name: select of Photos of Read-Only.

    We went to a database of development last month. But we kept backups rman Level0 and Level1 more archive logs generated after the last L1.
    Our N0 and N1 were planned with an interval of 4 days.

    The dev team now wants this DB restore in another machine. In a catalog schema, we did not keep the rman metadata. All we have is the backup pieces.

    .
    .
    I don't know which of the backup are those who is from L0 and L1. If I managed to restore the last file to control the last backup of L1, then things will be easy. What happens if I am wrong to restore the old file of control of L0, which has no info on any new datafiles/tempfiles that I added after than L0.

    You guys, how such situations?

    After you restore the controlfile, simply ALTER DATABASE MOUNT, and delivers then a BACKUP of the LIST. The list will show you what knows the controlfile-if it shows the L0 and L1 of backups, you can use it. If it shows only the L0 backup, try to restore the 'other' controlfile.
    If you can see the timestamps of the backuppieces, which could help identify who's the backup "later."

  • B2B 11 GR 1 matter unable to identify the EDI document via the channel look file

    Hello

    I was wondering if someone might have encountered this problem, I see a bit of noise on this forum about recognition of documents, and this may sound familiar to some of you...

    It is necessary to configure B2B 11 g (11.1.1.2) to query a file from a certain location. In 10g, there is an option to create the directory name of the poll with a certain convention %FROM_PARTY%_TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%.edi etc., but this option is totally removed from 11 GR 1 material, so the only option is to go for changed file name (with the same format as above).

    Now I have to deal with incoming EDI files, so creaed the file with the above names naming convention and configured a channel listen to extract the file. The EDI file is simple with normal elements of ISA, GS and functional group, also passing thro validation documents Editor. B2B pulls, Archive it, but during the identification phase, he simply out craps with the following messages in the journal:

    I am unable to understand what makes the engine EDI to throw the paper away when everything is in order? Just to clarify, there are also a commercial partnership with ECS, configuration files and agreements XSD.

    I see a similar discussion at 11g - inbound configuration for any group or no header Exchange with no resolution.

    Pointers?

    Concerning

    B2B understood the agreement to be executed in spite of not providing the name file name or dir (% TO_PARTY % etc...) convention. Remains to be seen if they made any changes specific to the PS2.

    Essentially arrivals, file name or directory name is used to identify the TP which sends the document, but there is in the case of EDI and other parameters that can be used for the identification of TP as ISA and GS headers. So, even if the identification of TP with the help of file name or directory name fails, always TP can be identified on the basis of present envelope parameters in the EDI message. You can view-

    http://www.b2bgurus.com/2007/08/trading-partner-identification-in-EDI.html

    Above blog is for B2B 10 g and where he mentions some properties to set, but these properties are part of the product of g 11 B2B itself and therefore, no additional configuration is necessary.

    Finally I discovered that the problem of managing EDI is the line breaks. When I provide the entire load in one line, the B2B is able to implement the agreement, but when I the segment using line breaks separate the same error is thrown.

    IDE itself is a delimited file that uses it's own delimiters (known as o delimiters EDI separators) to separate the segments, elements etc. Even from every part of the IDE has fixed length designed in ecs file. If you insert a line break between the two, then this file will become invalid because you're characters additional ading inside (line break is a character) and engine EDI will not be able to analyze this document. This is according to the standard guidelines and nothing specific to Oracle B2B. So do not add in additional characters (including line breaks)

  • How to identify the expressions of folklore in the lot while reading File adapter

    Hello
    I have a bepl process to read data from a batch of 100 records text file and write in an Oracle EBS interface table.
    After the completion of the above, I have to call a partner link.
    Problem here is that, how to identify the expressions of folklore, so that I could call my link partner in BPEL.
    How do I get there? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    You can implement a separate process, say FileNotificationProcess, you call the link partner, based on the batch Manager wsdl to $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/xmllib/jca/BatchManager.wsdl. This new process would be notified of different States of the file reading activity:
    # onBatchReadStart - indicates when a file is started to read
    # onBatchReadComplete - indicates when a file is done playing
    # onBatchReadFailure - tells when a record cannot be processed by the infrastructure of adapters.
    In your case, you would call the partnerlink when a notification of "onBatchReadComplete" is sent.

    In your main process to the file adapter, add the below property, so that the file adapter would inform the new process of the different stages of the processing of batch file.

    bpel://default|FileNotificationProcess

    This is described in detail in BPEL best practices guide page 3-18 http://download.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/soa_best_practices_1013x_drop3.pdf and the article excellent blog of anthony at http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/2008/06/more_on_batch_processing_in_bp.html.

    Yes, TP name and the name of the directory must be the same.

    Set oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOneDirectory = true (the Trading partner by the name of the directory Idetifies) in your tip.properties file.
