Ido see not a user account to the connection after you uninstall a pack of themes.

Original title: no icon logon? (different for others).

I installed a custom to my windows theme pack. I rebooted it and tried to open a session, but it instanty goes back to the logon screen. I eventually uninstalled the theme and now there is no login account to connect to. I tried the mode without failure and everything, but to no avail. I looked everywhere to find a cure, but nothing helped. Then... of ideas

Still, I can't connect to the computer to do anything at all.

Here are two additional methods to call for the restoration of the system:

  1. Keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
  2. Select Repair from the menu.
  3. Select an administrator account, and then enter its password.
  4. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  5. Configure Windows to a point before this problem occurred.
  1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
  2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
  3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
  4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
  5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
  6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  7. Configure Windows to a point before the problem occurred.
And if you do not have a repair CD Windows (which is absolutely essential for those who have chosen to do their own maintenance rather than having served machine):
  • Burn it on another computer.
  • Borrow one from a friend.
  • Purchase one here: http://systemdiscs.com/

Please forgive me if there is a simple solution to this problem. I have already undertaken some research and various attempts to correct them accordingly in vain.

    System: Windows 7 64-bit

Problem - no more have the internet connection after you uninstall antivirus software

the story so far: yesterday I uninstalled VIPRE Internet Security 2014 as suggested on their guys to support online so I could upgrade to the latest version (2015).

After uninstalling and restarting, small notification of connection there was an error in this regard. When you look at the map, it linked the wireless modem, but there was a red cross between it and the symbol of the world of the internet.

I tried another public network and tried to use my phone as a hotspot and still the same result.

    System Restore does not work.

    I defragged and cleaned up.

I downloaded a program called Vipre rescue to find the virus.

I tried with windows on and outside firewall.

I installed a full copy of 2015 AVG (free) and still no luck.

I tried a flush.bat file (easily on another where I read that someone had the same problem).

Thanks for getting back to me.

I dropped last week and held a store of the local computer. I just returned it today. Guys said they had 'fun' with her. Which means it took a lot of time for them to trouble. Apparently there had been some severe or ciritcal crashes who think could have been partly to blame.

  • How to remove the user account from the connection Start Page (therefore restart goes directly to the desktop without the need for any clickthru)?

On my Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit system, all I had to do was to remove all the accounts (other than 'administrator') in addition to my login information main user account and remove the password of the Admin account and I use a main user account, and then whenever I reboot, reboot goes all the way to the Windows desktop (i.e. through it does not stop with a cover page showing the user account).

-It does not seem that this approach works for my Vista SP2 Business Edition 32 bit.  In fact - I get TWO accounts of user with the exact name even appear (my account "DougL12"), as well as the "Administrator" account  None of these accounts have passwords (I can just click on one of them, which brings up a screen to enter a password, then click again without entering any PW, and then I get thru on my desk).

When I go to 'User accounts' control Panal and select 'Manage another account', windows displays a screen showing three accounts:

    (1) "Guest" (power off);

    (2) "DougL12" (hey I am running, whose B-T-W has privileges admin; also do not have a password); and

    (3) 'administrator' (which, if I choose only, is not an option 'disable', although it has not one)

    (password).

NOTE: page does not display "" versions of the user account "DougL12", although the login screen that is telling.

    so:

    (1) what do I do to eliminate the appearance of user accounts / Login Screen (i.e., default to my main user

Account, "DougL12" and should not click)?

    (2) any thoughts as to why the system could be displaying two Occurrences of the user account Login "DougL12" on the

I have a user account, but the type is standard user... I can't create an administrator user... because when I press on it see something that says that WINDOWS needs YOUR permission TO CONTINUE to create... Fix this please...

To create an administrator account, you must be...
    (1.) an administrator
(2.) to connect to the existing administrator account, or in possession of an administrator password.
If you do not have all of the above, forget it.

When the system asked you for permission, you should click on continue or enter the Admin password. If you could not do either, it means that you don't have administrative rights to do what you want.

try a restore system before the problem

There are no entries in the registry for a guest or a new standard user account.  The registry entries for the three accounts normal-quickly (2 x admin, 1 x level) seem to be appropriate.  Watch register computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

[Plan B - I found one thread where one user said that the same symptoms of the problem that you experience this problem solved]

    - - - - - - - - - - -

Plan h - while another user said that it was caused by a file Windows Live problem

This is the thread I can not create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service doesn't have the logon

You find it difficult to follow the thread as it's long and reported problem by different people to confuse it and there is also a bit of bickering [long filaments often end up being quite incomprehensible].

..., See references to the event viewer in the middle of page 4 and Windows Live we [at the bottom of page 2 more on page 3].

I see not the logic of the any of those things, but if one of them do things long enough that you are trying to create new accounts that works, you will know how in the future until a proper solution is found.

This is the useful part where this user has tested the solutions proposed in this thread linked above: -.

This has proved to contain leads to a difficulty.  Have to admit, when I read everything the first time, several days, I did indeed find it confusing and even the parts that I "heard" (sorta) does not appear to be related to my symptoms.

It turns out that the answer of JDMICHAL May 17, 2011 contained this:

    (1) C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows open live
    (2) this directory has two subdirectories with a single file of each. Go into each directory and apply the following:
    (a) make a right click on the file, open the properties.
    (b) click the Security tab.
    (c) it will issue a message: "to continue, you must be an administrative user with permission to view this object's security properties. Would continue you? ». Click on the button continue.
    (d) click on the Add button...
    (e) ' everyone' type in the box at the bottom of the dialog box. Click on "check names"; It should be emphasized the "everyone". Click OK.
    (f) ensure that the new "Everyone" entry "read" and "read & run" check under the column "allow".

After doing this for two files, attempt to connect to the account. He must undergo.

The procedure (bascially) worked... Although the different answers on my system differed slightly along the way (perhaps due to the slightly different versions of Win 7?, because I was already logged in as an administrator?).

In any case, "Everyone" with the read and read/execute permissions adding to these two files seems to have done the trick:

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\Bici1_00.sqm

    and

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\SqmApi\SqmData720896_00.sqm

Thank you for leading me to this!

  • How to restore user account missing when the connection after that power outage occurred?

Windows XP Media Center edition PC was carried out at the time of the power failure, which lasted about 2 hours.  When turned back on, it was missing the user account on the XP login screen.  However, after logging another user, all the files seem to be present, but the system restore will return to another point, and the same username cannot be recreated (it says it is already used).  How can the user be restored?  Thank you!

I fixed it!  I copied a solution to another user in the forum:

    1. click on the Start button.
    2. go to control panel and choose switch to Classic view (if not to this point of view).
    3. double-click on Administrative Tools.
    4. double-click on computer management.
    5. on the left, click area to expand local users and groups.

    6. click on groups.

    7 double-click on administrators.

    8. click the Add button to add the user missing to the list.

It restored the user to the logon screen.

    Hello.

You can not. You need to do this via the control panel / accounts of users or via the command prompt. In both cases, you need to be logged in as an administrator account.

  • Demote a standard user account when the account was promoted to admin using a program named pclogin now

My son used pc connect now on upgade its standard user account to administrator now when I try to downgrade, it does nothing. I can't remove it or even when I try to put this in command prompt net user 'account' / del it says not found user account. How can I remove or demote

I was in an administrator account. When I did the brute force we were always there when I restarted the computer.

"Brute force" involves a little more by using an administrator account. Assuming that you want to delete the folder "C:\Users\Harry, you can do the following:

    1. Reboot the computer.
    2. Logging in as an administrator account.
    3. Click the start planet.
    4. Type cmd.exe in the search box.
    5. Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter
    6. Click on "Run as Administrator".
    7. Type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
      takeown /f "c:\Users\Harry" / r
      Cacls /g /T "C:\Users\Harry."
("are answer Yes when asked you sure?")
      RD /s /q "C:\Users\Harry."

    Orders are not reversible.

  • Windows 7 - Clone user account on the same computer

In Windows 7, I have a single account to user configured with all the settings I want it - essentially a default account.

I tried to just create a new account based on this account, but the "Copy To" button is grayed out on everything except the "default" account.  (I did the settings for the default account, but I didn't know how to connect to it).

I don't know if this is a defect, or in Microsoft for this.

Is there a way to make this account the value by default so that I can use it to clone other accounts on the same computer?

Is there an easy way to do this?

I found a way to clone the account.

Logon as the administrator, you can create a new account with the name that you want for it (for example "new user"), and then restart.

Connecting under the administrator again, copy the files to the account you want to clone, to the new account.  (it takes a lot of time), when it finished, and then re - start.

The new account will be a duplicate of the source account.

Please note, that since it is a duplicate, of the default file locations will be for the account of the source, so you'll have to go through and change them manually.

It is not an elegant solution, but it is easier than creating the account to start from scratch and do all the settings.

It would be nice if there was a way to personalize the account 'by default'.

If you listen to Microsoft, please consider this for the future.
