  Currently I have two servers each with an oracle database, each of them is running apex and offers a package that people use to interact with data through Web pages.

  I want to merge these two servers into one to save on costs, which means that 1 Server 1 database... with 2 packets of the apex. Is this possible? I guess I would need to export/import the whole package and to migrate database schema, but I will say a default package a schema and a single default package to another scheme? I don't understand workspaces so maybe that's where the question is rooted.

  APEX applications are similar/different?

  You can do the following:

  • Import the schema (data) of base2 in database1.
  • You can associate multiple schemas to a workspace. For example, you can associate the schema imported into your workspace (in database1).

  • Then, you can export the APEX of base2 workspace application and import this request to the workspace from base1.
  • Access the newly imported application. Change the attributes of the Application -> Security-> database Session and define the Schema of the analysis to the newly imported schema.

  We took 4 ApEx (patch 4.0.1.00.03), and have a problem in a single application, where appears the error ORA-06502 character string buffer too small.) It also gives me wrong when creating new items, so I have to copy existing elements and change them from place. This worked until recently, when the mistake is now also displayed in the application itself, and not only in the constructor. This is a page with a tabular presentation and some elements of search filter. After having fill the filter and click on a search button, the error message and tables is not rendered. This happens from time to time, and the 'solution' is to disconnect and return to the application. I'm not 100% sure, but I guess that's the same problem as the error appearing in the report generator. It is certainly not caused by user data.

  While developing the application, we regularly put the generator of the ApEx between French and English. I read that it was a cause of ORA-06502, but that this problem has been resolved in version 4.0.1.00.03. Our problem may still be linked to the multilingual constructor?

  (1) no longer this error occurs if you export your application and install it on apex.oracle.com which has 4.0.2?
  (2) do you use point type plug-ins in your application. In 4.0.1 there was a mistake in the generator if too many when installed in this application. Reduce the number of plug-ins type point or better to install 4.0.2.00.07

  Hi, I use 4.2, XDB oracle apex

  All of a sudden my application launch error "Page not found".

  When I check the user accounts, APEX_040200, APEX_030400, APEX_PUBLIC_USER and XDB were to expired and locked status.

  So I unlocked using the "" change the user name user account unlock; ""

  even if I'm unable to access my application, it always shows 'Page not found' error

  If so, these users must be locked.

  If you use another server web only APEX_PUBLIC_USER needs to be unlocked.

  I think your problem is elsewhere.

  Did you check for example the alert log database?

  Looks clearly like a related problem of RAM. I recommend to put the machine to a technician and allow it to check the RAM memory, because this fault of page errors occur when something was written into RAM and then if the operating system asks files block in the module memory may not be accessible which causes the above error.

  I tried with your data with this query, remove the additional supports, SQLDeveloper. There is no record for 'No', then the data found was the correct result. Changed to 'Yes' and got results.

  It has just occurred to me this mod pl/sql does not empty the http pl/sql mod had relied on stream until after the stored procedure is finished. Since the region HTML display, call your procedures on server side, the call to owa_util_redirect etc are all part of a larger APEX procedure (P), you end up seeing the behavior you do.
  How the user can't page 11? I think that you need to do is to show the progress bar image before arriving at page 11.

  If you want to be included in the simplest model is to create an element of the application in the shared components, for example:

  MY_VARIABLE
