  • Iexplore.exe runs twice in my task of process manager. How do I know that you close?

When I turn on the internet, I have an iexplore.exe which uses a lot of memory, more than 200 000 K and one that uses very little of 15, 000 K.  I also seem to have a running explorer.exe.

Anyone running Windows XP has "explorer.exe" running - it's the office.

When iexplore.exe is, assuming that you are sure that the two tasks are spelled the same and both are run under the same user account, and then if you have upgraded Internet Explorer to version 8, the reason for the two instances of iexplore.exe is the new browser uses a separate process 'iexplore.exe' for each currently open tab. If you start your browser, you will automatically have two processes, one for the main browser window and one for the first tab.

Microsoft has implemented this technique in Internet Explorer 8 to accommodate a more effective process to each tab priority. An example would be if you were listening to streaming radio in a tab and the surf in another. The tab that has your focus can and will take precedence over the background tab and cause the radio to cut or even stop. In the new Internet Explorer, each tab has its own procedure that allows equal priority over time CPU and not let not another tab steal the processing time for an another background tab.

If you don't have IE 8, then you probably have a malware problem.  Download, install, update and run each of these two free scanners.  Do not run both at the same time.  Each will take a while ends, then start it up and then go for a non-it chore.

  • How can I keep the same program to run several times?

I want to be able to prevent users from running the program or the same task several times since which is at the origin of the crash program and the PC to slow down.

I know that some programs are already scripted to give a message saying "program is already running." However, is there one way other than the coding that is hard to do a similar job.

Attached is an example of a program that runs three times and the internet explore runs twice and that causes a problem and it's quite a load on the server that hosts the program when almost every workstation is running the same program several times.

  • Even if the PC is slowed, conhost.exe starts on 5 times in the Task Manager.

    Process of OT:Running.

I noticed that when my PC is idle, conhost.exe starts on 5 times in Manager tasks. This opens also cmd.exe and taskeng.exe with it so when I close conhost.exe, the other 2 farm as well. Norton EAST, Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Scanner grew nothing and even when processes are running, it does not affect the performance of my PC. So I am looking far a virus/malware and to some kind of error. Any suggestions?

I would be guessing that when your computer is 'idle', you have open command (cmd.exe) prompt.

  • Run several SignalExpress projects simultaneously in independent processes

I tried to develop the following simulation: simultaneously run two SignalExpress projects with similar steps, but defined configurations.

However, what really happened was: the first *.seproj runs as expected. However, when I run the second *.seproj file, it uses the configuration of the first project, rather than his own.

Files and folders (in bold) Setup:

    • Project1
      • Project1.seproj: Contains a step of user referring to a VI in this folder VILibrary.llb.
      • Project1.ini
      • VILibrary.llb
    • Project2
      • Project2.seproj
      • Project2.ini
      • VILibrary.llb: Contains a step of identical user referring to the VI in this folder VILibrary.llb. (I copied the file *.llb from the folder above and the stage of the user to point to the VI in LLB of the file being edited). In the case of each VI 'config', I have a "a Dialog button" displays the path of the INI file to read.

    Action taken:

    1. Double-click Project1.seproj in WIndows Explorer and run it. The above mentioned user step displays a dialog box that it is ready to read Project1\Project1.ini as expected.
    2. Double-click Project2.seproj in Windows Explorer and run it. The above mentioned user step displays a dialog box that it is ready to read Project1\Project1.ini! This should not... I expect the dialog box to display Project2\Project1.ini.

This behavior is correct? I expect the nature the returning of the VIs (developed from a model SignalExpress) would make sure that various INI files would read.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the information!

I found that the problem goes away if give you the names of different screws. It would be a viable solution? The problem seems to be that SignalExpress will use the first VI of a particular name without checking that it is the 'right' VI.

  • Problems restoring 64 bit Windows Vista - sfc/scannow still find things to fix even if run multiple times in a row

I had a hard drive failure; However, the operating system has been on another disk, a 250 GB SSD. After replacing the faulty discs, I tried to move Windows Vista 64 bit to a larger 512 SSD concert. I keep running into problems with these efforts. To verify that the 250 GB SSD is clean and ready to be moved, I run the sfc/scannow in SafeMode with network. I run several times now and each time he claims to have found corrupt files and fixed them.

This is evidence of a virus or other malicious software?

I try to avoid formatting the drive and having to reinstall all software.

  • Photoshop CC 2014 Extension - CEP event reminder fires several times by event

Try to do my extensions to watch a bunch of events and it turns out to be a real pain in the *.

I hope that there is someone here who has a little more experience to play with them.

I used the sample code from here (Page 43): http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/creativesuite/pdfs/CC14_Extension_S DK.pdf

I modified the code just a little. I removed unnecessary things from her. I also added a counter, in an attempt to visualize the problem.

Every time I pasted the code here, the global variable seems to reproduce. Eeeeh Yes...  the sample code can be found here.

    The problem is:

I close a single document to raise the event, but for some reason the recall seems to run several times.

Even better, it does not seem be consistent on this issue. Sometimes she repeats only twice and sometimes he repeats 160 times.

It seems that whenever the extension Panel is reopened, it comes up with a new number.

Currently, if I close a document, it seems to trigger the recall 15 times

Since it's the screenshot, you will have to take my word for it. I closed only a single document, and the code has been 15 times.

    Screen Shot 2015-04-18 at 21.21.28.png

I do something wrong by any chance?

    Edit:

I think I just find out the reason and a way to recreate the issue.

I tested the opportunity of expansion by closing and opening the Panel, which seems to have caused the problem.

It seems every time I close and then open the Control Panel, IT... Adds a run more to the stack.

-Update the chrome Panel does not seem to affect it.

When I restart photoshop, it resets to zero. So after the first opening of the Panel, the l' evenement event triggers the callback only once.

    -------

I forgot to mention that the events of the host application work fine without these issues.

In fact, I tried to use documentAfterActivate before, but that I could find, there is no way kind of filter specific events within the host application events.
For example, I can't specify something different happen when a new document is opened.

    As much a side note:

documentAfterActivate has its own side effects due to the way photoshop works.

    It is triggered when you:

    • Create a new document
    • Open a new document
    • Switch to an open document

This is the part "Switch to a document open" which makes this event listener to trigger when you close a document.

Because when you close a document, photoshop switches to the previous document which in turn triggers the event listener when he shouldn't, I guess.

Of course it does not raise the event when you close the last document since none document to fit right in there.

.. but it's beyond the scope of the original question.

I had this problem also with flash panels, but I noticed that this has happened only if the Tribunal was persistent, I solve it by cancelling the registration of events when the Panel was closed.

  • several times current Svchost.exe to run in the Task Manager

WHY IS SVCHOST. EXE RUNNUNG 14 TIMES, taskmanager?

What is csrss.exe?  An internet search says it's a Trojan horse.

One last question, "Windows has blocked some startup programs" why the other box that would appear on startup?

    Original title: svchost.exe

    Hello

1 did you changes to the computer before the show?

    2. What is the full error message that you receive during the start up?
    3. What is the version of Windows you are using?

Svchost.exe is a process on the computer that hosts, or contains, other individual services that Windows uses to perform various functions. For example, Windows Defender uses a service that is hosted by a svchost.exe process.
    See this link:

Because the computer is not correctly behaving as expected, I suggest you run a virus scan to verify the infection.

    Method 1:

Run a scan antivirus on your computer.
Note: If infections are detected during the scan, there is a risk of data loss because infected files will be deleted.
    Method 2:
If you are using Windows vista or 7, I suggest you consult the document below and follow the steps.
Error message when you start a Windows Vista-based computer: "Windows has blocked some startup programs".
This document also applies to Windows7.

    I hope this helps.

  • Iexplore.exe process still running in the Task Manager

I was see multiple iexplore.exe processes in the Task Manager when I'm not in IE, so to trouble shoot it I uninstalled IE, run several different scans/squared (which found nothing) and iexplore.exe is still appear in the Task Manager. I guess that it is some sort of virus since I uninstalled IE and it is always showing to run. No idea how to do the trick of it? I am running XP.

IF IE 8 was present in the control panel > add or remove programs, then when you have uninstalled it from there, you have restored the previous version of Internet Explorer, in other words, IE 7.

The best way to confirm this is to start IE and then click Help > topic.

There is malware that disguises itself as iexplore.exe.  If you see iexplore.exe or Iexplore.exe in msconfig or in the Task Manager after Windows startup, but you did manually start Internet Explorer, you probably don't have a problem.
What antivirus applications you scan with?

If you haven't already done so, I suggest to do the following:

Run a scan virus online with the eSet online scanner (may require a download if you are using a version of Internet Explorer)

Download, install, update and run MalwareBytes AntiMalware (free)

Download, install, update and run SUPERAntiSpyware

You can uninstall all the latter after their use, if you wish.
