If the instance starts due to low memory?

Hello

11g R2 (Linux)

Other day one of the 3 nodes obtained ousted due to low memory

ERR message is

«ORA-04031: impossible to allocate 4136 bytes of memory ('pool', 'unknown object', ' sga heap (3.0) ", 'gcs dynamic r') shared»

' LMS0 (ospid: 8489): put an end to litigation because of the 4031 error '

Thank you

He could go down. Normally, if a user session meets an ORA-4031, the instance is assigned and the only operation in the user session fails.  However, if a process (PMON, SMON, LGWR and DBWR etc) background data dictionary operations fails, it could bring back the instance.

What is the cause and the fix?

EN 57 is the size of your storage. There is no iPad with 57 GB of memory (live RAM). Have you tried to hold the home and power buttons until the iPad reboots? Also try double clicking the home button and close any open applications.

  • How to find the history of the instance starts/stops?

    Hello
I'm looking for history of instance starts/stops.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

You can find the history of start/stop of the instance in the alert log file.

    Follow the steps below.

1 SQL > show settings back.

    / u02/oracle/admin/test_db/bdump string background_dump_dest

It is the location of the my bdump folder.

    2. got to the location.

    3. alert ls *.

  • Sequence file unload the runtime starts and remains in memory through executions reference

    Hello!

I am facing a problem using a dynamic movie file loading.

Here's how my request: I'm testing the products on two sockets of different test so I use (a measure) parallel processModel.

When lauching a test on one or another location of test, I still have the same trial customer template (MyProcessModelClient) in which I wrote a PreUUT call as usual. In this PreUUT custom, I get the serial number of a product, and according to this number I am a sequence of test script file and saving it (TestSequence_1.seq if it's on the test Socket 1) and TestSequence_2.seq if it is on the other.

Then, in the MainSequence of 'MyProcessModelClient', I have a single sequence call TestSequence_1/2.seq dynamically according to the socket (TestSocket.MyIndex + 1). This calling sequence is then defined with:

    • option to load: dynamically load
    • unloading option: unload after executing the step

    And here's the trouble!

First, the code stored in my "SequenceFileUnload" of TestSequence_x sequence reminder runs when the file is loaded... (I guess this one is loaded, copied in memory and unloaded right after...)

Then what PreUUT reading for the next product on the same sockets of test generates an error in my script code tries to save the new file TestSequence_x (error-17206: '... a file of sequence with this path is already loaded "")!

No idea why he acts like that?

I don't know why you see the behavior that you describe and I'm unable to reproduce with a simple example (that I have attached). A few comments/suggestions:

    1. Make sure that you call Engine.ReleaseSequenceFileEx after that you create and save the movie file in PreUUT.
    2. The unloading of movie file callback will be called when you release the sequence file after you save it in the PreUUT because you release the last reference to this file in sequence.
    3. Make sure that you set the OptimizeNonReentrantCalls false on the sequence that you call in the TestSequence_x.seq.

  • Restart ColdFusion 11 Instances starts does not correctly after the server

Hello, we have after the situation and can't seem to find a fix or a workaround for it. Could you help her?

On all 4 of our Windows Server 2012 R2 servers running on machines with 8 vcpu hearts vitrual each, we have 10 instances running ColdFusion 11 update 6, instances are the same on all servers of 4, 2 servers are used for testing/qa and 2 for production. On all these servers, after restart servers sometimes starts correctly and need to be restarted manually to start working. It seems that, on average, at any time, instances of 2 to 4 starts not and those who are not the same bodies every time. We look at the log files and we believe that we found that the issue is, but not sure how to get around it, or fix it. When proceedings begin, the following error appears in the log files of the bodies that will not start correctly (see the bottom of this post for the actual journal entries):

    13 October 2015 07:52:25 warn org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog

    {WARNING: ServerConnector@69f41e78{HTTP/1.1 FAILED} {0.0.0.0:5500}: exception java.net.BindException: address already in use: bind

As you can see in the logs below, actually startinstances, but when someone goes to CF Admin or try to do something with ColdFusion on these instances, all they see is error 500. Manually restart the instances starts correctly. I think the problem is that the ServerConnector of org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog will be started with the port 5500 instead of a random port (in the log files are you see an AVAILABLE argument is used by ColdFusion, when he calls the constructor). I suspect what happens is that when rebooting the server, all services trying to start at the same time and all try the port 5500 first to see if it is available for use. Since there are 8 processor cores, I think some cases on different cores to processors 'meaning' port 5500 is available and try to use it, but pending different instances on core cpu nested calls for actually the port and then others get an exception and cannot recover it. Those manually, restart gives them a new random number as the port 5500 is already used by a single instance.

The question we have is: can force us ColdFusion instance use different port for this org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog of ServerConnector and if not, is there another workaround solution? We tried the underside of things so far, but not of them semm to help. Our tests included stop all instances and try to change settings on a single instance to see if it will use different port for ServerConnectorm of the org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog after starting, but he always tries to claim the first 5500 port:

    • Tried to change the jvm for the below arguments. We tried all those who, because we don't know yet which is correct, various documents we found online did not say specifically, this can be done with ColdFusion servers and we are not very familiar with works of the pier or what work is in ColdFusion server. Any of these help to our question:
      -Djetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.server.server.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.Server.port = 20003
    • In addition, tried to change the jetty.xml file in the D:\CF11\cfusion\jetty\etc folder (it exists only in the instance main cfusion but other instances), port of the line 139, changed it to 0. There is either no make the difference:
      < name = 'port' > < property name = "jetty.port" default = "0" / > < / Set > "

    Hi Pawel,

I note on a system CF11 runs several instances I was looking at a ColdFusion11\INSTANCE\lib\jetty.xml.

    Part of said jetty.xml:

    0.0.0.0

    5500

    300000

When I edit thrown 'port' section on my localhost CF11 to 5501 jetty.xml and start the coldfusion - error.log says CF11 part:

  • The TNS service name gives preference to connect the instance that is in a mount

    Oracle version: 11.1.0.7

Why TNS service name give preference to connect the instance that is in a mode of installation and the dsiaply ' ORA-01033' as mentioned below.»
I wanted to connect the single instance that are OPEN (no EDITING) using connection string and want to know the status of all instances using SQL query "select instance_name, status of gv$ instance. How can I achieve this?

I have four-node rac and instance cluster four, one instance on each node and the State of the instances are as shown below

    SQL > select instance_name, status of gv$ instance;

    STATUS INSTANCE_NAME
    ---------------- ------------
    dtrac1 OPEN
    Dtrac4 ROAD
    dtrac3 OPEN
    dtrac2 FORCE

I tried to connect using the name of the service "dtrac" (the tnsnames Details give below) any node, it gives priority to the instance that is set up and shows the sequence of error messages

    SQL > conn system/vcs@dtrac
    ERROR:

When I change dtrac2 instance in NOMOUNT or OPEN State, then connection correctly goes to instances that are open.

Too bad, I was hoping that it would work with srvctl

    [email protected] wrote:
As you say a different way of configuring the service by referring to the favorite and attributes available for instances, but its not useful to know the instances that are open. Its helpful to separate the work to specific nodes by creating different services for different applications.

Certainly, it only would be logical if you know in advance that you want to start an instance in editing mode and you want to bypass the connection failure. But when you know you're going to just mount a database he used to try to find later.

I searched a bit on metalink and found notes 69546.1 which States that PMON will record with listeners the and remote start the instance, same no editing is required. Which is obviously stupid because of the error message you get when you try to connect.

797713.1 note describes your exact problem and a solution. I'd love to quote, but I'm not sure if this is allowed or not. So instead I'll summarize what I learned: the default service that you create during the installation of first CARS behave as in one instance. As soon as the instance starts, it will register with the other. This is actually intended for you can perform administration. When you create additional services via srvctl or crs, they will somehow managed by crs and only you sign up once the instance is 'up' (I guess they mean open).
So the solution would be to create another service through srvctl and use it for your connections.

  • Error message at startup: "cssauth.exe instance cannot start due to an initialization error" and also unable to open help and the file

Original title: cssauth.exe instance cannot start, help and Support of file disable

Whenever I connect to my windows XP, it still says cssauth.exe instance cannot start due to an initialization error and I could not open my file help and suppot. Please help me. Thank you before

    Hello

1 how long have you been faced with this problem?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?
    4. who help and support files are you referring to?
    5. what exactly happens when you try to open it? You get the error message?

cssauth.exe is related to the Client Security Solution.

Step 1: Try disabling startup cssauth.exe in the configuration of the system.

    Here's how:

    1. click on start > run.
    2. type msconfig and press ENTER.
    3. click on the Startup tab.
4 locate cssauth.exe, and clear the check box for this.
5 restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: If you still get the same error at startup then perform the clean boot on the computer.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start and then click Run.
    2. type msconfig and click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    3. click on the tab general, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer because the problem is with the client security software that is provided by them.

There seems to be a MAJOR problem (blocking/memory leak) in "subject: House", also known as start up Firefox, 26.0 Firefox Page, Windows!

    seen on:
-Windows 7 x 64 machine with 12 GB of RAM and high performance CPU (core i7-920)
-Comments Machine virtual WinXP SP3 (in Oracle VirtualBox) running on the same computer
-Intel Atom D525 netbook with 4 GB of RAM, running Win7 x 64

None of these machines are connected through Sync or something like that. The Firefox instance on the virtual machine is a fresh install / clean.

    The problem:
-100% of cpu usage for 10 seconds, (util in XP) memory usage goes up to 1.7 GB
-If "subject: House" is actually the Firefox Start Page, it blocks the computer at startup of Firefox for 10 seconds
-If "subject: House" isn't the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" on the toolbar button it loads "on: House" which causes the same question once again

Sounds that there is a problem with one of the code snippets that are responsible. I've seen several reports on this issue.

You can set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref an empty string on the subject: the page of config to disable loading (new) checked to see if that helps.

You can open the topic: config page through the address bar

You must remove the ' storage\moz-security-about + origin "folder in the folder of Firefox to delete already profile stored clips.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

I got a blue screen coming up on top of my computer, after much frustration, I rebooted my windows xp. Everything worked very well but I couldn't load all my drivers including my driver to pick up Internet. I was just trying to download updates for the drivers with the yellow mark. that was about four of them. the next time I turn on my computer, it says logon, but there is no longer any newspaper in the names to the screen. So I can't pm any more away. Hello

Use the last known good Configuration tool to restore the operation of Windows XP

If Windows does not start, try to restore operation of Windows XP by using the last known good configuration. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. start the computer and press the key F8 when Windows begins to start. The Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed.

    b. use the ARROW keys to select last known good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then click OK.

    c. If a boot menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select Microsoft Windows XP, and then click OK

Windows XP starts your computer by using the registry information that were recorded at the close of the last.

  • LaserJet CM1415fnw: Continuous CM1415 ti indicate "low memory canceling the job."

I've owned the printer since 2012, and until recently, I had no problem printing, with the exception of an I-Phone.  I tried to print my Nexus 9 Tablet and my HP laptop and get only "memory low, canceling the job."  I loaded the document file from one page to a flash drive, plugged into the printer and try to print from USB with the same result.  I shot it works and reset the default printer, nothing happens.  What to do next?

The Configuration report I have 160 MB of memory with 80.4 MB of available space.

    Hey @Bulldog74,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are having problems with a low memory error when printing to the printer Laserjet Pro CM1415fnw. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once that is done, try to print. If you still see the error then when the printer is on, remove the power cord at the back of the printer for one minute and try to print.

Please let me know the results of the rest of the foregoing. If you can now print, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Cannot start the instance with srvctl only sqlplus

    Hello

I must be missing something very obvious here... I can't launch the instances on our 2 CCR node with srvctl (fine get all others managed by cluster service/listeners/etc), but if I use sqlplus + start, all right.

Oracle Standard Edition 11.1.0.7 on Linux x 86-64
    Instances: bopa1 + bopa2
    Nodes: bls0114 + bls0115

    The error I get is:

Looking lsnrctl status, I don't see that LISTENER_host name on the nodes, has something to do with it?

The cluster has been newly installed and works fine otherwise.

    Hello

you have defined a REMOTE_LISTENER parameter in the database which can be solved with the TNSNAMES.ora uses the clusterware.

    Then 2 possibilities:

(a.) your tnsnames.ora to the dbhome contains no entry of the LISTENERS_BOPA.
    (b) you use a tnsnames.ora different due to the use of the TNS_ADMIN variable. It's probably settled in the sqlplus environment, but not on the level of database/instance when clusterware tries to start.

    Set it with:
    setenv srvctl database d t ' "TNS_ADMIN =".

or perhaps at the level of the instance (instance of setenv srvctl - but I'm not sure it exists.) Sorry no atm 11.1 cluster to check).

I have a strange problem with my RAM supported by installers. When I check the activity monitor, 3 installers are open and they start around 80 MB memory RAM used for about 7 or 8 concerts after 10 minutes. I have to force them to quit, but I don't know what I am closing or why they open in the first place. Applications downloaded on iTunes?

In addition, the Console has opened with the same message several times, but I don't know what that means.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

The last is a picture of the Terminal window.

Just because it lists 'Console' does not mean that it has nothing to do with this application.

You have not said why or what you're trying to install so I can't help with that.

You can use the activity monitor to leave their.

After you select an item, use the X in a type of stop sign icon and confirm force quit.

  • Error 244: The DataFinder cannot start due to an internal error.

I have LabVIEW 2010 and, during Windows startup, this error message appears:

"The DataFinder cannot start due to an internal error.

(244): Please wait until the National Instruments PSP Service is running and try to start the DataFinder or restart your computer. »

I got this pop error during the past year it's a recurring thing. He began to show a few months after installing the LabVIEW program on my computer, so I'm not sure on what caused this message still appears. I find that it causes also a delay in the start of my computer - my other startup applications starting to show only when I close the error window. Help, please! Thank you.

    Hi xcontradictorx,

Looks like National Instruments PSP server locator cannot be started. Could go you to the control panel > administrator tools > Services and locate the server National Instruments PSP Locator? Double-click it and make sure that the service is started. If this is the case, stop and start again (just by pressing the stop and start buttons). If this is not the case, run it, and then go in the Recovery tab and choose restart the Service as long as the action of first, second and more about chess.

If after changing the settings for the PSP the issue to continue service I think that for some reason any PSP service will just be started late for some reason any. Could you do a quick real test: disable the DataFinder in msconfig, reboot, then run the C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\DataFinderDesktop\bin DataFinder.exe. This should place the MyDataFinder app in your taskbar (that looks like a yellow gear).

If this is successful, then we will have to change the order of startup services such as the DataFinder begins just after the service of the PSP.

    Try the following:

    (1) locate the DataFinder entry from the registry. Located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    (2) remove the entry DataFinder
    (3) add a shortcut to DataFinder.exe in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Menu\Programs\Startup
    (4) restart

This should make all the standard Windows startup (as from services, etc.) and then launch the DataFinder.

One question: do you use the DataFinder at all? Either with DIAdem or database search tool? If this isn't the case, you can try to remove it from the startup items. Simply go to start > run... and type "msconfig". Click the Startup tab, look for DataFinder and deselect. Click on apply. That will probably get rid of the error message.
