If your student eligibility is in question, you need to reinstall any sofrware which has been already downloaded after everything is straightened out?

A question of Adobe on proving my student status. It clears up without problem. One day went by, so I tried to launch Photoshop CC and it rises, but a few seconds later stops working! Maybe I'll try to restart my computer. Any other suggestions? Do I need to uninstall then re install the program?
