  I have a new Macbook Pro OS X Yosemite, with Creative Suite CS5 installed and updated to version 15.0.2. I never had problems with the software in the past, but since I have it installed on my new machine whenever I try to save a file in Illustrator it closes unexpectedly and I get the error on the accident report:

  After reading some of the other threads, I tried to validate all my fonts and deletion of a question, without success. I have not a printer is installed and I ran a diagnostic on my system and it come clean. I do not know how to verify permissions, or how to search for and delete the folder settings, which is what has suggested another thread.  I'm at a total loss about how to fix this problem, and I'm unable to save Illustrator files in any capacity. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  The problem seems to be in interaction with the apple code. Have you tried with a new user account and see if it works there? If this isn't the case, then you could try to uninstall, run the cleanup tool and reinstall CS5 and then update to 15.0.2 before anything else.

  This morning, I used Illustrator very well. This afternoon I put to update to Illustrator CC 17.1

  Since my Illustrator opens and displays the menus and shows a window with new features for 17.1 - when I go to remove the Illustrator menu block. Can't do anything.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled - no solution

  called adobe, checked permissions, clear preferences - no solution

  created a new user account on my mac and IT WORKS on it.

  I have disabled all third-party fonts - no solution

  No fact that Verdana and Tahoma are allowed - no solution

  Recoomended Adobe I uninstalled ALL OF MY CC APPS. Are you kidding me? So much work for one effect that I'm not of course will help.

  ANYONE HAS A SOLUTION?

  UN-install the Wacom tablet, the issue has been resolved.

• Illustrator cs5 closes unexpectedly when you enter

  Hey guys, Illustrator's leave each time I try to type or even look at the fonts. I checked to make sure there is not a problem with all fonts, I tried to reinstall, clean it and put it back, once again, and tried to access by another user, but still, she leaves each time. Someone at - it suggestions?

  My susggestion on the issue would be to give full rights to your user in the Adobe user library folder, preferences and applications support > Adobe files.

  Also, make sure that the same directory in the lbrary system has all the rights.

  After that try the same steps and I guess that the problem should not come.

  If you need assistance how to do the steps above let me know and I'll send you described the instrcutions for the same

• Illustrator + inDesign quit unexpectedly / crashing

  I'm working on a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 with a 2.4 GHz processor Intel Core 2 Duo and 2 GB memory.

  I tried to export a document from inDesign with 50 or so different fonts (simple police Tester, but with many fonts sheet) to PDF but the application quit unexpectedly. I am still able to open documents in inDesign, but not export it in PDF format (I tried to export a document with a single word in helvetica, but it did not work, page will export as a jpg). I am now also impossible to open illustrator - it closes unexpectedly before opening a document. I have tried to install the new updates from adobe, reinstall illustrator and inDesign, installation of a FontAgentPro4 and in reviewing my fonts, restart the computer several times, etc.

  I suspect there is a problem with one of the fonts I downloaded (I downloaded these from dafont and installed with FontBook) and although I've trashed many fonts, don't want to lose all the (certainly not the basic fonts that come with programs).

  Can someone help me with how else to solve this problem? I am in desperate need of these programs and have already lost all day trying to solve this problem.

  It looks like a police problem. If you have looked for corrupt fonts with FAP and not found, the problem could well be a poorly made policy, and these gifts is a good bet.

  The fast way to find a bad police to remove half (I delete all the free and let those who came with your programs), reboot and test. If things work theres a bad font in the group that you deleted, if it isn't or bad police is still in the group that remains is is not a police problem.

  If things work, back half the fonts you removed and test again. If they have not, take half of what you left the first time, but make sure that you don't remove not essential system fonts. Adding / removing half of a group at a time after each test, you should be able to find a single in less than 10 steps font, even if you have thousands.

• Illustrator CS3/Snow Leopard

  Was there an answer as to why difinitive Illustrator CS3 (part of the Design Standard package) could not open in Snow Leopard 10.6.4? I just migrated to Snow Leopard, which was on a machine that I have not touched since almost a year and discovery Illustrator CS3 cash trying to open it. InDesign and Photoshop work perfectly.

  I searched the forum for possible answers, but this question goes back far enough, since I left later to discover the problem.

• Illustrator CS4 in Snow Leopard issues

  I have a logo file that I created in Illustrator CS4 on an iMac under Snow Leopard, and it does not display some of the text layers on the registration for the web or as an Illustrator CS3 file or copy and paste in Photoshop CS4. Basically, text layers are standard using Adobe Garamond Pro (regular and italic) fonts and white text on black background. In the original file, the two lines of text look good but when I try to register using one of the other methods above I no longer see the 2nd line of text. So, indeed I can't create the JPEG or GIF that I need this logo. Anyone have any ideas?

  I just did a clean install of Snow Leopard on my Mac. Here's what I did.

  (1) installed Snow Leopard 10.6

  (2) installed all the updates of OS X (including 10.6.1)

  (3) installed Quark Xpress-8.12

  (4) installed Adobe CS4 Design Standard

  (5) installed all updates of Adobe (no updates associated with Illustrator)

  (6) installed Extensis Suitcase Fusion 2 (v13.2.1)

  Photoshop starts very well.

  When I launch Illustrator it crashes just after the start screen is displayed.

  Any ideas please?

  Couldn't find anything on the Internet really - if cannot get a response soon, so I have to go back to the leopard .

  I would suspect suitcase and maybe a corrupt police could be the cause of this problem and the database is corrupt.

  However before any attempt of software really point the finger this removes all the unnecessary fonts then

  to do this

  first Illustrator altogether and then;

  I go to the users/username/Library/preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings folder and trash this settings folder.
  then see if Illustrator works well. If this is not the case, try a new user account if it works very well under a new user so I think it's the police database.

• Install Snow Leopard on iMac 2.8 GHz Quad Core i5

  I just bought a refurbished 21.5 in iMac 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i5 on the Apple Store to replace an aging 21.5 in iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3. The new iMac has 10 El Capitan 10.11.6 OS and the old iMac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

  I have old versions of Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator and Filemaker Pro on the old iMac running SL and I want to continue to use these. I am now retired and can no longer pay to upgrade.

  I partitioned the HD on the new iMac and had hope install SL and migrate all my old files from the old computer. I tried to recover from a Time Machine backup since the iMac old and installation of the system from a bootable USB stick SL. None of them has allowed me to move forward.

  Has anyone else tried this and succeeded? Will I have to completely erase the HD in the new computer, partition the drive, install SL on a partition and, on the other?

  I've seen similar issues but no response to my problem. Real help would be appreciated.

  Your mac is not designed to work in 10.6 and the operating system will prevent installation of 10.6 using the API. While this is possible through virtualization, but you will be using a 3rd party solution to do something your mac was not intended to do and any instability could be traced back to this.

  Use the version of Mac OS X included with your Mac, or a more recent compatible version - Apple Support

Make sure that your device is turned on, check the connection and make sure that your network is working properly. If these conditions are correct, restart the device and try to scan the image.

  According to the error message, it seems like test software communicates with a different printer than the CM1415.

  Open the HP Scan 3 application, located under Applications > Hewlett-Packard.

  Click HP Scan in the top menu, then click Preferences.

  Be sure to select the HP Laserjet CM1415 drop Scanners, close its window and click on the scan button.

  You don't see any cdifference?

  A Photosmart 6525 printer connected through WiFi to a Mac Pro under Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

  Everything seems to be alright except for the "Scan to computer" feature which cannot be enabled.

  Utility HP v. 5.10.1 closes as soon as you click the "Scan to computer" on.

  Installation has been filed using the last updated: Photosmart-6520 - series_v12.24.0.dmg.

  This works fine in Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

  Thanks for help, but my problem is not a printing problem but rather a utility HP problem that happens when I try to activate the function "Scan to computer".

  However, I did what you suggested but to no avail. Repair disk permissions really did keep many errors about files in Safari and iTunes.

  Finally, I did a new install of OS X Lion mountains fresh on a separate partition, added to the printer, and voila, everything went well. (Note however that even on this brand new facility I stil have the same permission errors, so they probably makes no sense).

  In conclusion, it seems that there is something wrong with my drive work system and I'm afraid I'll have to reinstall Mac OS X.

  Hi, I recently installed the new update of snow leopard OS and my HP OfficeJet 7410xi is no more scanning to PDF. A few seconds at the start of the process of scanning later, there is an unexpected error and the scan is canceled. Y at - it an update of the drive that I need to install? Already, I went to the support page of drivers but I see just the drivers from 2007 and I don't see any new version. Any advice?

• No sound on Snow Leopard virtual machine

  I use Fusion 6 for Mac to virtualize Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro to run PPC applications that are no longer compatible with the post-Lion updates. I was able to install OS X Snow Leopard Server, but the sound card does not seem to be recognized by the virtual machine. I have it configured correctly in settings (making sure that the adapter is enabled) and it works on my regular desktop, but when I go into the virtual machine it is not even on the output in the control panel.

  Delete according to the .vmx config file option , and you should have sound then.

  Note to stop, not suspend, the Virtual Machine and close the virtual machine window and set the focus of the entry of the virtual machine in the library Virtual Machine or VMware Fusion.
