  After having recently upgraded CPU, memory and graphics of my computer, it took singularly reinstall my Adobe Photoshop (Inc. Illustrator & bridge) because I do not use other members of the CS2 Premium Suite I made a custom Setup. Everything works fine except for my Activation Adobe warning system.

Is there another way to peacefully resolve this conflict? or you do it's ugly and insist I buy another product of Adobe updated you will always continue to support (for the moment)?   You can continue to use CS2 without additional cost. It takes just a few steps to remove activation version and replace it with the version without activation.

  Uninstall your CS2.

  Download the version without CS2 activation from the link above. That goes for the owners of CS and CS2.

  Install, then enter the new serial number without activation provided at this link. Your existing CS2 serial number no longer works.

I am trying to install this on another computer that I got it before, that the computer is dead, and I wasn't able to disable CS2.

  I have the version LEVEL of Illustrator CS2, which means that I have to install AI9 first, then concludes that CS2 and confirm. Not sure if who raises a key in this issue.

  Anyway, with the new setup file of Adobe, I tried to activate it using my AI CS2 serial number, and it did not work. Am I supposed to use the AI9 serial number? If this is not the case, how should I do to activate this downloadable version?

  I'm unable to install Adobe Illustrator CS2 on my mac (OX Yosemite 10.10.3) because it gives the error "The Installation HFS disk no is not supported." However, the drive that I installed is HFS + and should be able to withstand that. In disk utility, I confirmed that the format is Mac OS extended (journaled), what is HFS +. I also ran check disk and disk utility repair disk, but both showed that the volume seems to be OK and I still couldn't install Illustrator.

  Does anyone found a workaround for this problem? I've seen a few old threads blocked on this issue, but they did not provide an answer to my question.

  CS2 is a PowerPC application intended for the former PowerPC based Mac processors.

  Note: If you have the version CS2 Premium Suite, you need to download the standard and then download Acrobat and GoLive separately under their own serial numbers for replacement.

  In what concerns installation on Windows 7, you can install/run any version back to 4.1 in XP Mode. I don't remember right away if that is necessary for CS2.

  Here are complete instructions on how to install and use AL10 on Windows 7. If so, the same procedure applies.

  Run the computer in XP mode to install it. Here's how:

  Once installed, you should be able to make it work with the PC in normal mode as follows (first broadcast):

  After that, you can run it just by clicking on a shortcut across or through the list of programs, and it will run in XP mode.

  It is possible to buy these older versions of Adobe's CS. Legally buy another requires knowledge on the complex rules and trust.
