  When you start your laptop at the beginning you can see the symbols of disk in the lower corner of the screen. If a player is selected under the side, you will see a short line. When these symbols appear press immediately to the left or right arrow several times to see if the line will be cut to the left or to the right.   See the following troubleshooting steps below thanks Azam K with Microsoft Support:

  Try to activate the numeric keypad and check if it helps, here are the steps:

  1. open on-screen keyboard by clicking theStart button,all programs, Accessories, easy accessand then clickingOn-screen Keyboard.

  2. click onOptions, check thepad box and then clickOK.

  I also suggest you to start the computer using safe mode and check if it works properly, following the steps:

  1 restart your computer if it is running.
  2. tap on the F8 key after your initially on powers computer.
  3. Once you see the menu Advanced Boot Options, you can stop tapping.
  4. use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
  5. select Safe Mode and press ENTER.
  6. you should see loading drivers and wait please.
  7. you should then be at the Welcome screen.
  8. connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

  I have used the top and down arrow keys to add and remove a star/polygon points but when I use it, it adds / removes too many at once.

  It does not add/remove whenever I press the arrow buttons.

  I tried setting the key parameters to repeat without success.

  Assuming that CC 2015, try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU; You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

  There are a few problems with the GPU and Adobe are working on them. They should be resolved with the 19.0.1 patch, that is I hope that this week.

  If you are using a desktop computer, the first thing to try is another keyboard and see if this fixes the problem

  If a laptop try a usb keyboard

  If that works for the laptop, contact the manufacturer of the laptop

• I have a hp dv4 laptop computer 4270us arrow keys do not work well.

  I have a HP dv4 4270us, sp1 win7 64-bit, memory 6gig, i3 - 2350 m altitude, F27 bios.  The arrows will be moving the screen upwards or downwards. The arrow keys, used to scroll up and down. The only program that works there is normal Internet Explorer 9. All other programs is upward. Many keys have proposed are not on this key board. In addition, the touch pad does things by himself.

  OK on Firefox, open a window and press F7. F7 activates the keyboard navigation or disable. Just tap it once and then go on a site that has a long page that you can test on and give it a try. (You get only the message on Caret navigation box when it is turned on)

  I was able to recreate myself. Keyboard navigation is designed for accessibility reasons. When enabled, the scroll bar will be exactly as you described. It will draw all the way upwards or downwards with a single press of the up/down keys.

  What about other programs, I'm still looking for any settings that may need to be changed. Let me know the results with Firefox! Hope this helps!

  I have the latest version of Lightroom. 3.4.1 I wish I could adjusted curves using my up and arrow keys rather than manually with the mouse.

  I tried everything nothing helped. I can't point the curve move my arrows. The arrow keys work with other aspects of Lightroom this as if I hover over vibrance and use the arrow keys to make adjustments, they work perfectly.

  This feature is not available with the curves that, like you, I'd love the ability. FYI, you can refine the points with the mouse by holding down the option/ALT key.
