  I searched for the last two hours and before my head hit the keyboard I wanted to ask for help.

  What I am struggling with:

  in my init function, I create a new document and then copy all the layers of the previous document step by step to the new document and then save it as SVG.

  I am fine with the fact that fixed values or directly take the values of the initial RFSO.

  what I read on the web means that illustrator does not know what to choose document. but I called him directly. so, what could be the problem?

  now, I added a new work plan to the new document with the same size as the work plan on the original document.

  I have remove the work plan predefined on the new doc and the new work plan as active.

  now, the work plan is not centered in the window. Illustrator that allows to place my image with ctrl + c-> ctrl + v somewhere outside the artboard.

  Now I need to align my selection in the center of the artboard. but I can't find any reference on how to Center a selection to the artboard.

• Creating a new document from existing pages

  It must be a feature in InDesign that allows you to create a new document using the selected pages in an existing document without having to remove unwanted, pages as when you create a document "save under".  And also the possibility to create existing master pages.

  It is already there. At least somehow.

  Create a new document of the same dimensions of the former, with a blank page. Then, in the old document, select them pages you want and in the Pages menu, choose move Pages.  You can then select the new document to move pages to and make sure to remove Pages after that moving is not selected.

  • The InDesign file in the cache folder, delete.

  • Restart InDesign after doing that, fingers crossed it will launch.
  • If you are satisfied with the result and don't need your InDesign preferences previous folder (InDesign Defaults), then delete the two files to the desktop computer. I usually keep a copy of them just in case ;-) But 99% of the time that I do not put them back, as clearing caches and prefs seems very often cure the problems.

• Cannot create a new startup with my data disc

  Hi guys, here's the problem: when I try to create a new startup with my data disc, I can't boot from this drive.

  The startup progress bar takes forever and then I see a white circle with a line through it. ("Prohibited" / "Ghostbusters" sign.)

  In verbose mode, it hangs on "break pci: SDXC ' for a while, then it clears the screen and watch the Circle + line with 'still waiting on the root device' at the bottom left.

  I can't boot into single user mode. Quite simply, there is the same thing as verbose mode. Even in safe mode. So I have few options for debugging. I did a SMC reset, no change. Is there anything else I should try?

  Additional information:

  -I'm trying to start off a new SSD that I bought, currently in a USB 3.0 enclosure external. I know that all is well with the speaker because I started off of him several times in the past. I know that all is well with the reader, because I tried to do the same process with another drive and it doesn't work the same way.

  -J' cloned my current boot drive to the new drive with SuperDuper!, Carbon Copy Cloner and I also did a clean install of El Capitan using recovery mode. The new facility has worked well until I migrated my old data.

  - So there must be something in my data which are striated throughout this process. I don't know what it is maybe or how to track him down.

  Any thoughts are appreciated!

  Have you tried the PRAM reset? Restart while pressing control + command + P + R until you hear the boot chime at least twice.

  Can you reverse your actions when you first made the changes, just go through the process and change everything to the original?
  Or you could do a System Restore.
