I manage my own photos on my Mac, so I can understand wanting and needing these thumbnails to display correctly. I have a few things you can try to help him.

  1. Eject your iPhone from the computer and stop Capture of Image. Press in and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening of Capture of Image again. Connect your iPhone and the test of the miniatures.

I have an Epson Perfection V370, who is about two years old attached to the new machine. She was attached to the old iMac Image Capture when he recognized without problems. Now the printer seems to be able to scan, but Image Capture can not open files in any format. I downloaded the latest driver on the Canon Website, but no cigar. I did not remove my Canon in the Applications folder, however.

  I didn't know he can open files of any type. Image capture is to take pictures of a device and import them to your Mac. It is not an image viewer. I can't even remember there being a command open on the file menu.

  I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer with a computer Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and wen you were trying to scan in PDF you received a message that says that the "selected folder is not writable. I would like to help with that.

  What you're probably dealing with is a permissions problem with the folder selected when you try to save the scan. I visited the communities of Apple Support and found a possible solution, click here to visit this page.

  Someone else found that they had to create a new folder to save the scans at because the older folder was left by an upgrade of Mac OS X.

  Make sure the registration color scans at is not read-only.  You can do this by right-clicking on the folder and then select Properties.  Ther will be a box with the unalterable words beside him.  Make sure that the check box is disabled.  If the box has a check or anything in this document, click it until there is nothing in the box.  Let me know what happens.

  I'm working on an Aspire 3690 laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 2. I installed EasyPHP - 5.3.3 to operate as WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP). And extracted CakePHP 1.3.3 in the root of the document that is located in c:\program files\easyphp-5.3.3\www\cakeblog\. The app\tmp folder and its subfolders have an attribute 'read only' and I want to remove this so that I can make records in writing.

  The first thing I tried was to change the attribute of Windows Explorer. But whenever I make changes here changes don't stick.

  The second thing I tried was to change the attribute of the command line. C:\Program files\easyphp-5.3.3\www\cakephp\app I tried the following: attrib - r + s tmp. After which, I confirmed the changes as follows: attrib tmp. And it returns the path of the folder and S as an attribute. "I have reload the application on my browser and still get the ' folder not accessible error in writing". When I open Windows Explorer there always the 'read only' attribute, and the command-line, there of the ' attribute. I also tried the following variations (which seem to all work on the command line, but the changes reflect ever on the browser or Windows Explorer):

  1. > attrib - r + s tmp
  2. > attrib - r tmp
  3. > attrib - r s tmp
  4. and all the open air with the following options added at the end: / s and / d
  The result is always the same: app browser continues to consider not accessible files writable; Explorer Windows always considers not accessible files writable; and a control on the command line doesn't show any attribute of R.
  I tried everything above on an elevated command line. Did not work.
  I tried all the above after going in the Security tab of the folder properties and gave myself a total control over the records of said. I tried again to the user and the administrator. Did not work.
  The last thing I tried was to climb to the next level and try to change these attributes thinking it's maybe a legacy issue. Nothing works.

  When the discovery of the computer and selecting the image file folder - I use to get the small real individual images of each image in the folder without having to enter in the Windows Photo Gallery.  Now, I have only an icon, the same as that for each of the images and the only way I can see that the actual image is to select a specific icon and hope that is the image I'm looking for.  Can someone tell me how I can get all the individual photos in the folder of image file to display when I select that folder?

  I first suggest you to change the display of the photo icons folder type medium or large icons and check if that helps.

  To do this, follow these steps:

  Open the photo folder. Click view > select icons medium or large icons.

  Make sure that default programs > associate a file or protocol type with a program, file types .bmp, .ico, DIBs, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .png, .tiff, .tif, .wdp file names must have the default program like Windows Photo Gallery.

  Otherwise, select the type of file name, click on change program and browse to choose as default Windows Photo Gallery.

  Additionally, set the global folder options

  To specify the global settings that apply to all folders, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Folder Options.
  2. On the general tab, click the options you want.
  3. In the view tab, click the options you want.
  4. Click OK.

  Note To restore the default settings for all folders, click restore defaults on the general tab or on the view tab.

  Use the same display settings for all folders

  You can apply the same view settings to all folders on your computer. You cannot apply the same view settings for all folders, images icons, toolbar settings or tasks folder. To apply the same view settings to all folders, follow these steps:

  1. Locate and open the folder which includes the display setting you want to use for all folders.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  3. On the view tab, click apply to all folders.
  4. Click Yes, and then click OK.

  Note To reset all folders to the default display settings, repeat these steps, but click reset all folders in step 3.

  Help I need is;

  • Is there an internal writable directory where I can store my html files and access it from browserfield, at the same time, it should not be accessible from the file Explorer.
