Image library and develop image different looks, to develop automatically converted my image.
I'm not sure why Lightroom auto converts my image for me to develop. I used my Sony A6000 in sRGB RAW. Please let me know how I can fix it.
Hi gnehct,
Please see this thread Images different switching between library and develop (Lr4.4) and tell us if it helps.
Also uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" in Lightroom > Edit > preferences > Performance.

BW Images in lightroom CC different 2015 between library and develop modules
Hello
I have a strange problem with black and white images with different gamma between library and develop the module.
Here is a screenshot of the library:
And develop:
As you can see, very black blacks lost completely all the details in the develop module.
Anyone have an idea why?
With sincere friendships.
Olivier
When Library and Develop appear differently, it is always due to a broken monitor profile.
Test title, set monitor to sRGB profile in your computer's operating system.
If this solves the problem, calibrate your monitor with a standard material. (which is something you should do anyway)

Library and develop the views differ
Hello world
I have observed that the view from 1:1 to a photograph library stands 1:1 view to develop the same photograph. This photograph has been processed in various ways, including using the adjustment brush to remove the saturation and clarity in the box to the left of the boy running, where appears an undesirable human figure (this is not the last setting made for photography). The library view does not show the effect of this stage of development, so the view to develop shows clearly. Here are excerpts from two points of view 1:1 (library view at top, seen to develop at the bottom):
I also note that the display of the library is not as sharp as the view to develop. I really expected the two views are identical, but they are not.
Anyone else seen this?
What is wrong where?
Any help, explanation will be appreciated.

The differences between library and develop views have been discussed (warmly).
In essence, the library module displays a preview that is created in Adobe RGB (and saved in the jpeg format, I think). It is updated only when LR think something is changed. The development module is always rendered on the fly to ProPhoto RGB. This should be more specific, but to save the treatment it some shortcuts are taken. For example, sharpening and struggle against noise are not always displayed for the low ISO images except in the 1:1 (the logic that it saves time and noise/sharpening cannot be judged except 1:1 anyway). Search the forum for many happy arguments on the merits of this.

Different exhibition in the library and develop Modules
I am new to lightroom, but have spent a lot of time playing with Lr and Googling trying to solve this one
I always tried to Lr2015cc and am currently on the latest 2015.2.1
Question has existed with original version-1st downloaded, installed in August 2015
Camera Nikon D750
When you export to JPEG image has the same appearance as the rendering in the library Module - with the help of the external viewer for the file exported
This creates problems as the develop module, is where you can make the adjustments most of development
In general library module is overexposed and overly yellow compared to the develop Module
This problem occurs with both files JPEG and NEF (Raw) files and is not unique to the files of a camera
Other users I've talked to have not reported a difference bewteen visible 2 modules? old version of the software if
I am aware that I look at the preview images when using RAW files
It is very difficult to develop pictures when what you see is not what you get export
While I will be material calibrate my monitor soon it clearly isn't a fix for this problem that I do the comparisons on the same screen
I can only assume that this is a recent bug that there is no obvious reason to have 2 different renderings of the image
Anyone solved the problem? Is put there I missed? Is there a solution?
While I will be material to calibrate my monitor soon
Go ahead and do it now, you probably have a broken monitor profile.
As troubleshooting and as a temporary solution, you can set the monitor to sRGB profile.
If the problem disappears, the monitor profile is the problem.

Open picture in lightroom completely different cc in the library and develop modules
The image to import into the library is very well.
But when I click on develop module to looks like this:
I will try the demo version of LR CC, think about upgrading LR 4. I've never had this problem before. What I am doing wrong?
Press enter too early...
In addition, please disable the GPU acceleration: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html

Help?
Try turning off the GPU.
Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance (on a Mac: Lightroom > preferences > Performance) and uncheck CPU graph use.

Just updated LR 4-6, so I find lightroom does not not like before. LR 6 is very slow at the start, whenever I pass 'Library' to 'Develop' or import images, the Apple beach ball will roll for a few minutes first. My iMac uses OS X version 10.10.5 are all these compatibility issues? What should I do to make it work better the lightroom?
Please take a look at the article and follow: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/optimize-performance-lightroom.html

Why do I images allowed in my library and I have not yet bought something? Why my library say I have 17 images, but I only see 9? Why can I not see a button "buy"? So frustrating, I want just to save pictures in my library to use as drafts before I commit to all the images that I need for my publication as my employer Gets the last word. I have not had any problems with $ Photo... * sigh *.
Hello
Please check the following for more information on the use of Adobe Stock:

Currently, you have 6 allowed pictures and 22 available.

I just thought that I added 8 images to my library and it turns a license all. Very delicate! so bummed that I have there is one I want to use and 8 of my images! Can I please everything reset and start over? All new, so this was a first time horrible user experience!
Hello
I'm afraid, it is not possible to reset anything, once an image has been authorized. As a gesture of goodwill, I added 7 license credits to your account to replace those allowed by mistake.
Thank you

Develop module, 1:1 and export don't look the same, color questions
Hello world
I use the latest version of Lightroom (3.6 if I'm not mistaken) and I am facing a problem very uncomfortable with the develop module.
I adjusted with precision each luminance of the color and saturation, so it looks pretty good in the preview to develop (made to fit) and did an export...
The preview that I worked on and export just don't look the same.
I work with files my DSLR digital D3100 from NIKON on an OSX Mac NAVE 10.7 MBP.
This may be the external display profile is not properly adjusted because I looked at all the images on the same screen.
I unchecked all boxes from the preset in the settings window tab.
Here are some screenshots and exports.
Good look in the module development (left) and the actual export of the same photo (right)
Please note that I have not activated an option for correction of lens and adjusted any color. This is the RAW file and its direct export.
Screenshot of the preview window on the noise correction options (left) and the same area once as I zoomed in the main view (right)
I hope this can be fixed or I'm doing something wrong.
A few days before today I used Camera RAW of PS CS5 to correct my NAVE and maintaining only to exports to JPEG. I decided to use LR 3 on my entire workflow and I'm skeptical...
Ah yes and please forget all mystake alone in my post, I'm a french student.
Thank you!
EDIT: I can meet any required file or the screenshot if necessary. I have a few other photos with the same problem (lots of those indeed...)
EDIT 2: I found the image has made many more colors acurate (relative to export ones) in the library preview module (magnifying glass I guess)
The previews in the library are are on JPEGs in a smaller color space.
adobeRGB. Not in prophotoRGB, which is space (with linear gamma, but which)
is a detail) used to develop. To make the point, you see the more accurate color
in general, but you must be aware that not all destinations can actually
reproduce these colors. There is also still the color noise reduction
question, you can only see to develop at the 1:1. In the library, because it is
made a jpeg file, the color noise reduction is applied at each zoom
level images etc. like this, which tends to desaturate the colors. My guess
is that this is probably a problem of range. You can check receives in
Photoshop for adobeRGB profile. The orange on the trees is probably
always out of gamut.
That said, how do you calibrate? You should use a Spyder, Huey Pro,
i1Display, Colormunki or similar to calibrate the screen if you want to
believe what you see.

I love the develop module, but I'm doing something wrong in the library
In the library, under 'Catalogue, all the photographs', all my photos appear showing the stars, cropping, and development. The problem is that these changes are not for the photos on my hard drive. When I re-import them in Lr, the changes are not there. My workflow is to do nothing after development or export them to the original with a new file name destination. Anyway, it is that they get a new file name without change of development when they are imported into Lr. Please help (PC user)
And others have explained, Lightroom does not apply the changes to the file. All changes are stored in the catalog, and then applied to the image when it is displayed in Lightroom. If you want a copy of the image with any changes so that you can share with others or send it to a laboratory to print, then you must export a copy of this image by using the export dialog box in Lightroom.
Features of Lightroom as well by its design. The images that you import are always left in their original condition, unmodified.

Cod app and library can be for different platform versions?
I am writing an application that must run on a wide range of versions of the device. Some of the application contains code depending on the version, but a little is independent of the version. Are there problems or special considerations for structuring an application as a main .cod file compiled for a specific platform version and a .cod of library which contains functions of "lowest common denominator" compiled for, say, 4.2.1?
What you propose works OK for us.
The library is developed in a different project and workspace, the "interface" between the use of the application and the library is the jar file, which is imported into dependent projects. This means that the two become completely independent, and it is possible to exchange the library for a later version on the device, without changing the main cod.
The biggest problem is multiple applications with the same shared library requiring different versions of this library. This section of the shared library has been discussed widely in the DevCon, so I hope that Rim will contribute to this requirement in some way in the future.
