Image of items 13 to change resolution size

Unlike the 11 elements, when I change the size of the resolution of an image in items 13, the physical size of the image does not change.  Why?  Is this a bug? We have a few changes to the software?  Can I have a defective application?

In the Image Size dialog box, verify verified resampling .

  • Change resolution without changing the size. I want the crisper, either of the images.

Hi, I would like to change the resolution for the images on my screen are clearer.  In the control panel settings, is currently correct for its size, but Blacks are grey, and text looks like it's under water.  He told me that he would work more pixels per inch. But as soon as I increased the resolution in the Control Panel, my office becomes bigger, clearer, not of crisper.  Crispy, that's what I do, not size.

    Hello

Changing resolution affects how much fits the screen; You cannot change this fact.

Access the site on your computer or the manufacturer of the graphics card > look for a driver download Section > search for your model number and operating system > get graphics / video / Chipset Drivers (depending on how it is formulated) > download and install.

  • Change the size of the resolution and the image does not change the result on the screen?

I use Photoshop CS3. I'm changing the resolution of several images that will be printed in a newspaper. So the current images are 72 dpi and really huge - for example 36 x 27 inches (size of the document), and when I change it to 300 dpi, the size of the image to reduce to about 8 x 6 inches, as I hope. But the image I see on the screen does not change. Thus, for example, when I open the image originally, it's 33% and the entire image is visible. After I change the resolution and the size of the image has changed accordingly, the image appears to be always the same and it remains at 33%. The image should not shrink on the screen because its size has been reduced? Or if she stays the same on the screen, the percentage should not change? I mean if the size of the document is now 8 x 6, it should be able to display at 100% and not to fill my whole screen... I'm so confused. Thank you...

    Gradded,

The "Size of the Document" of the dialog box size of the Image is just to specify the size (in inches) that your document will be printed. The ppi adjustment has nothing to do with what is displayed on your monitor. Your monitor does not care something about PPI. The monitor contains a number of pixels and after you change this setting, ppp, the monitor will always be the same number of pixels.

As long as you leave the box "Resampling" disabled, will not change the size of your image (pixel Dimensions). You won't see any change on your monitor. If you check "Resample", then the size (in pixels) of your image will change.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi kimhealy

You have set display up-to-date drivers installed?

    Method 1:

    Step 1 :
To resolve the problem, you can check if uninstalling and reinstalling then the display driver allows.
Also check if you have any exclamation point or cross the marks on the sides of display devices listed in Device Manager.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    c. in the Manager device, expand display driver, display devices, right-click and then click on Properties and on the driver tab, click Uninstall.

    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Step 2:

If the problem persists I suggest you to check if you install the latest updated driver on the manufacturer's Web site to help you.

  • Change the size of the image, no res

    Hello

How can I change the size of an image in Photoshop without changing the resolution?

My original image is 300 res, I lowered to 72, and it decreased the size.

I want to keep to 72, but expand.

Also be involved; How can I make 1000 pixels or more on the long side (of the image)?

    Thank you

If you want that the print size to change without changing the actual size of the image, uncheck resampling and enter the desired size of your image to print - say 5 "impression rather than 3". This will change the dpi, because both are related to the sizing non-re-sampled. If you want to keep the 3 "which was 300, but you want it to 72, then click on resample and change the resolution to 72, but this will change the actual pixels of your image dimensions.

To make 1000px, select resample and pixels in the drop-down list and enter 1000 for the long side.

  • Element change its size according to dynamicaly loaded image

    Hello

I have a "rectangle" with size 50x50px element, which dynamically loads images.

The images of the size of the images that load varies, for example, 128 x 260 or 72 x 155 etc..

I want the $("rectangle") to have the same size as the dynamic image. How can I do this?

    the image is loaded as:

    SYM. $("rectangle") .css ({'background-size': 'auto', 'background-repeat': 'no-repeat', 'background-image': ' url ("+ item.image +") "});

but it is not true that the size of the image is not the original, it is proportional to the inside to $("rectangle") and its size is 50 x 50

I want to keep the original size of the image and the $("rectangle") change its dimensions to be same as image.

  • Change the size and resolution

I have a jpg image which is about five inches square to 500 dpi. I would like to enlarge the image as far as possible keep the resolution suitable for printing at 300 dpi.

I've linked the resolution setting, but the image is reduced in size. Do I need to enlarge the image first? I'm not sure how much. Or y at - it a button that will do it for me? Thank you.

When you choose Image > size of the Image, if it indicates the width and height 5 inches and 500 pixels/inch resolution, when you uncheck resampling and resolution, type 300, that will increase the size in inches 8,333 each side that is the maximum size you can get with 300ppi without using interpolation (changing the number of pixels shown in the section of the Dimension in pixels of the window the size of the Image).

You can increase the size by using the interpolation, which is what happens when resample is checked. To increase the size, you can choose Bicubic Smoother (best for enlargements) in the menu at the bottom of the window to the size of the Image. But what will be the outcome depends on the distance of visualization of the printed image, your standards of enlargement, and the details on the image itself - for example, if it is an image of a foggy environment, the size can be increased much more without noticeable loss of details as opposed to an image with strong contrast details.

  • Different algorithm when changing the size in the dialog vs tool crop Image size?

In Photoshop CC 2014, I would look to change the size of the image and increase the DPI of 180 to 300.  If I open the dialog "Image size", using CTRL-I, I can set the resolution to 300 dpi, change the width and height, if I want, and I can choose the resampling to use, automatic algorithm, preserve the details, etc...

If I'm resizing an image for printing to a specific dimension, say a poster 24 x 36, I find much easier to just go in the crop tool, select 24 inches by 36 inches and change the px / 300 so I can see what size I need and select the culture I want for the image. I don't see any option for the algorithm to use well, so someone can tell me what algorithm it uses?  Is it possible to specify?  Can I use the Image Size dialog box to increase the DPI first before cropping?

Basically, what is the best method to use to get the best image quality when you try to resize a photo for a large physical size and increase the DPI at the same time?

    Thank you in advance.

I suspect the preferences > General > parameter Interpolation of the Image will be used.

  • Change on different resolutions size of text box

    Hello.

First of all, I am using Captivate 4.

I record some learning materials and I am their record with a resolution of 1280 x 800.

After that I stopped their record, I start to change, and then I'm their publication in the form of swf files.

The next stept is to put the SWF on a Web site.

I see a problem: the text boxes have another dimension. They are a bit biger they are in the project.

Another thing: after I have send the project file (* .cp) to another person who has a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024, all text boxes appear a bit larger.

Adobe Captivate changes the size of text boxes according to the resolution of the screen?

    Hello

CP is all about bitmap images. The resolution is very important. Normally, you start playing a CP - SWF published in the HTML file and size is preserved. But apparently you just click on the SWF file or inserted the SWF file, and it fits the screen, it's play. Maybe i ' l try a metaphor: imagine a T-shirt with a picture on it. If you try to enlarge the T-shirt, the image will be larger, as details such as text. It's not Captivate change sizes of text captions :-)

  • How to change the size of the document and to adapt the image proportionally?

    Hello

I created a hundred files in Photoshop for placement in a book I'm doing with software provided by the printer who uses models of fixed size. My big mistake was to make all files in Photoshop format A4 (21 X 29,7 cm), while the model page size is 8 x 10 inches. (I know, really stupid of me not to check this essential statistics!).

If I change the dimensions of the document via Image > canvas size, the images (which are all printed items, no pictures) are grown, which is useless.

Rather than create 100 new files using the installation dimensions right page, change the dimensions of the image in the file, copy and paste it into the file again (10 "x 8"), is - can anyone suggest an easier way? I don't mind doing this manually, but ideally, I'll be able to do in the existing file rather than create a new one.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Andrew

    My specs are:

    • Photoshop CS4
    • Mac OSX 10.5.8
    • 4 GB OF RAM
    • 150 GB of free space on the disk

We get changes in size of die all the time. An action can be a valuable help in this

    1. start an action recording
    2. Resample image to image size (fixed height to 10 ") is checked, constrain proportions checked
    3. Canvas size 8 x 10
    4. stop action recording. and run Thai as a batch on your 100 files.

According to your design, you can redistribute your objects to fill the extra space on the width, but first reducing your smaller image to the size of 10 "you will not crop layers.

  • I need to change the size of my image file, but keep the same pixels. Possible?

I'm trying to upload an image on a mobile advertising platform (Adfonic) with the following requirements: the dimensions of the Image 216 x 36 pixels; 3.0 KB maximum file size; GIF, JPG, PNG supported file formats. I figured out how to change the pixel size, but now my file is too large. I have Photoshop CS4 Extended & Vista.

I changed the resolution of the file but then changes the size in pixels. What can I do?

    Thank you!

I tried as a JPG & a PNG, GIF option was not available or I would have tried it too. It was originally a JPG and when I saved it as a PNG, it was a bit smaller but not enough.

Try saving your document using "Save for Web" use jpeg and lower quality and all the metadata of the band.   Think that should generate the smallest file possible.

  • Change the size of the image of 42HL800A

    Hello

I have trouble to change the size of my tv picture so that it fills the entire screen. I'm watching satellite TV through a decoder which is connected to the 42HL800A.

He always seems to be two bars of "darkness" on each side of the image.

I tried usng the 'automatic formatting' feature and the stretch of 4:3 television but bars remain. Can someone tell me if I can stretch the image to cover the entire screen?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hello

If you use a Satellite decoder, you should check the settings there.
The TV receives the signal from the cable box so if the decoder is set to 4:3 or letter, the picture on the TV will appear in the same format even if you change the configuration of the TV.

If you recommend to check the configuration of the decoder
