  • Images of poor quality output of HTML5 reference page

I was struggling with quality results look bad for all of my graphics stored in my reference pages when publishing in html5 or other digital format.

    Here are the details:

    • I have several pictures svg of high quality that are stored in my automatic placement reference pages above and below paragraphs.
    • These images are great on the screen and in the pdf output
    • All the options have been correctly resolved output to publish (outputs-> optimization - convert SVG to Raster Image not selected, Style mapping-> Distiller settings-use Image to generate the picture off, default format)
    • I tried to change the default dimensions to 0, 0 - no change
    • FrameMaker converts all svg files that are incorporated in the reference pages for the horrible quality jpeg images
    • If I copy and paste images of the referring page to a page of body, everything works correctly (the exit is a good quality svg)
    • Text in the pages of reference is also blurred images and bad quality jpeg

Is there a way for Framemaker to output svg images on the pages of reference true svg image or am I out of luck?

    > Would it not possible to use a temporary workaround for:
    > usage directly on the body of the page

No doubt like imported by reference in anchored frames. Which, of course, cannot be easily imitated if implementation of p has been via FrameAbove, as the FM has no anchor frame position choice for AboveCurrentLine (despite people asking for it for a quarter of century).

    > This is a huge setback for my project and I do not know how to proceed.

What is the format of output delivery? If it is a plain text, like HTML5 or XML format, I would seriously consider writing a script to use towards the end of workflow to replace some garbage raster Adobe generates with the original SVG. Because these images appear to be signs of reprimand reviews and security, there are probably a very small number of identical data models to find and replace.

    > Is there any hope of it being fixed in the near future?

I don't remember see Adobe is committed to such a thing in this forum, which is understandable for many reasons. Saw how long it took them to support this pass through preservation as SVG actually works (compared to when import SVG was first took over, and it was years), I'd start to immediately implement a Plan B and maybe a Plan C.

  • Images of poor quality in MSO

    Hi team,

I have a MSS with a PDF image inside.

The image seems to be of poor quality, as it does all other OSM I create.

My MSO have the vector value.

    Thanks in advance!

I took a quick glance to the Folio. The images will be always sous-échantillonnées to 108ppi. In order to ensure the best quality make you the images start with a resolution of 108ppi or more.

  • Vector images of poor quality in InDesign

I am just placing a vector image in InDesign I made in Illustrator (saved as .png), however, when I place it, it ends up being shoddy and staircase.  Dsiplay performance is set to quality and image quality changes when I change the size, which obviously should not happen.  Any ideas as to what is happening here and how to fix it?

I'll be too busy for awhile to get there, but I will annotate the original a little file to show you what to look for when tracing and dynamic painting are used.

You can set high quality in preferences (if I remember correctly) for all new documents.

    Take care, Mike

  • EP 14 - menus DVD look at grain-y and poor quality even if the content of actual film seems well

First Elements 14 - FILM and DVD MENU BURNING

QUESTION #1: HELP!   I spent days and days trying to figure out why the DVD menus look so grain-y and poor quality even if the content of actual film seems well. I upgraded from 12 to 14 items first thinking that would improve the quality, but no luck.  I made my film with many segments video, titles, etc., fading in and out of the extra audio tracks. It all works very well.

Then, when I select the Menu move and there the process... and the result... is simply unacceptable. I chose the "Pan and Zoom" model, even if I wanted to use my own background for the main Menu and the following menus images, because it was the only model with 6 thumbnails per page. I downloaded many sizes of different files and resolutions of my background images, thinking that this one would work.  I even found the original "Pan and Zoom". Model PSD files on my hard drive and checked the length of number of pixel and width, more inches in length and width, more DPI.

Each of my own images (including one I formatted the exact size of the model "Pan and Zoom") looks a lot like pixelated, when I preview the movie... or actually make a DVD in first of 12 elements.  In the first 14 elements, burn a DVD does not even operate.  The disc resulting is not playable on any of my computers or DVD players.  It comes to my QUESTION #2.

Is it possible to download a few screenshots to help you see what my poor quality menus looks like compared to the high quality film?

I don't know what is happening with your DVD writer. It could be material, may be a driver, could be another program maintaining Premiere Elements to it. (Nero is famous for this).

But if your DVD is burning as a file on your hard drive, then the program has done what it can. And you can easily use a free software called ImgBurn to burn DVD files to a disc. (As I noted in my books, this is the way I and a number of other publishers prefer to work for a number of reasons.)

The program creates a VIDEO_TS folder on your D drive or if she has created an ISO file?

  • Why when I create a collage to export to photobox is so poor quality

Thanks for the reply. When I create the collage, I have customized a model (3-4 images RAW/model) and then printing to a file in JPEG format. I put sharpening high impact, media type to Matt, JPEG quality to 100, file at 300ppi resolution, sRGB color management. Then I try and download on photobox, so I can create a page of a photo book, but the picture is really poor. Size of the file for the collage is about 3 MB.

Even if you print to a JPEG instead of a printer, you need to go in the layout and choose a paper size. I was wondering if maybe you create a 4 x 6 "JPEG and I try to print to a larger size.

  • Text Type tool unfoced, pixelated, poor quality

    Hello guys!

I have a subscription to creative cloud and I have been using Photoshop cs6 for some time now.

But recently, I had this weird 'error' about the poor quality text in photoshop.

I did everything in my power to try to fix it, but nothing works. I have checked all the anti-alising, stuff reinstalled/updated to update my graphics drivers, restored Photoshop and so on. Nothing works.

The weird part is that the text is bad only while in photoshop, not as a saved file (jpeg for example).

I post two photos, one a live screen shot of how the bad text looks like in photoshop and the other with crunchy quality as a recorded image.

    screenshot.jpg

The one above is the screenshot.

    real.jpg

does anyone know how to fix this?

Wild guess, but not closing"use graphics processor" in the Performance preference and restarting Photoshop have a bearing on the issue.

  • Poor quality PDF problem revisited.

A week or two ago I posted a problem I had with the PDF text of very poor quality (on screen) Although the print settings high quality with built-in fonts. I am running Windows 7 Professional, producing the document in Corel draw X 3, and Acrobat X 10.1.0.

I have not solved this problem, but I continued the development of the document. At one point I got a PDF output for purposes of evidence and I found that fonts look sharp and as I expect. Then I loaded the previous document with fonts of poor quality for the purposes of comparison. The old document now also went well! I checked in Acrobat and the two documents was incorporated Callibri police. However the next time that I produced a pdf file of the quality of the police was bad again. I copied the two PDF files to a memory stick and checked on several other computers running Acrobat reader. They all went well. I then printed the PDF currently running on the computer with a low resolution and it printed with very large fonts. I've experimented with different levels of zoom and the fonts look poor little matter I do.

It seems that poor policies are specific to the computer on which I run Acrobat pro and also appears that this problem is intermittent. I looked through various settings in Acrobat pro that can affect the appearance of the font, but I was not able to identify the source of the problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Murray

You probably need to go to the preferences and turn on anti-aliasing in the display preferences. This provides a better representation of images and fonts on a LCD (which most are today).

  • Satellite C660D webcam very poor quality

    Hello

I bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and have only begun to use my webcam today.
It is of very poor quality and flashes.
What happens during the day in a good light as well when it's dark outside with light.

    My os is windows7 x 64.
Yes, the plastic film is out of the front of it, I checked.
I reinstalled the driver twice and is still the same poor quality.
I restarted the process in both Device Manager.

Please help I can't think of anything I can do.

I put t know which model of laptop you have, but Satellite C660D has generally not HD cam but 0.3 M Pixcel camera only. And with this cam, you can't expect excellent image.

There is nothing you can do. If the cam is installed properly, you can just try change the settings of the cam in the hope that the image will be a little better.
When I compare 0, 3 m pixcel cam on old L300 and now 1.0 M (HD) Pxcel camera into my new P500 the difference is simply huge.

  • Satellite X 200-response of poor quality for the finger print scans

    Hello

The scanner on my X 200 finger printing has recently begun to return a response of 'Poor quality' finger scans for Windows Vista logon.
He had worked flawlessly since purchase, but all of a sudden (not gradually anyway) stopped scans for connect.

My first thought is maybe a Windows update broke something but I know not where search, everyone has seen or heard talk about it or know how to solve the problem, I can hardly believe that it is a hardware problem, that one day he was working the next day it wasn't.

    Thanks in advance,
    Josh

    Hello Josh

This can happen from time to time. I recommend you to clean the sensor. I hope after that cleaning, it works well again.

  • Poor quality audio inspiron 5437

The audio driver of dell for the card realtek sound in my laptop is very bad, it delivers a dull, with almost no bass and really hard at high frequencies.

In another thread someone suggested using the native windows driver and that works, but:

I use a headset with mic p2 and it does not work with the windows driver (mic + audio in the same PIN p2)

Anyway, is to use the native windows driver and the headset microphone to work?

Why dell does not release such a driver of poor quality because the hardware is perfectly capable of his delivery?

    Thank you

The audio driver of dell for the card realtek sound in my laptop is very bad, it delivers a dull, with almost no bass and really hard at high frequencies.

If you WavesMaxx make sure it is not the problem. It works only with the Realtek driver, not the native, so try to disable its settings.

Or you could try a Realtek driver directly.

    1. go to the Realtek download selection page. www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads
    2. on the page, click on 'High Definition Audio Codecs.
    3. check "I accept", then "next".
    4. (optional) in the column named "Description" find the file named README and download it. Who has the instructions for the installation or update.
    5. in the column named "Description" select your operating system and if it is 32-bit or 64-bit of 2 choices in the list.
    6. in the column named "Download", click one of the server names to download the driver.

  • Help ~! Adobe Premiere Pro exports the poor quality video...

I'm testing in order for use to YouTube videos of Adobe Premiere. No matter what I do, the problem I have, it is the quality of the exported video, doing not well and it's frustrating... = me '(je voudrais que quelqu'un qui sait ce qui pourrait se passer à me dépanner ici!)

Therefore, the screen that I was working. This character, I drew... I'm trying to use it in the clip. The left is the original, right, how he showed first upward instead (a little too zoomed in). Accordingly, I decided to reposition him and him a bit fits back in effect... not too bad so far.

So as I said, this was just a test clip so I tried even second-clip. This export press, I made the following adjustments:

No. correspond to the parameters of the sequence

    Format: H.264
    Screening: YouTube HD 1080 p 23.976

Yes , export the video and export audio

    No Gaussian blur

    Width 1 920
    Height 1 080
    Frame rate: 23.976
    Order on the ground: progressive

    Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)

    TV standard: NTSC
    Profile: high

    Level: 4.0
    No. made to maximum depth

    Encoding Bitrate: VBR, 2 pass
    Target Bitrate: 15
    Maximum flow: 25
    Yes distance keyframe: 72

    No Maximum render quality
    N use found
    No. interpolation

With that, I queue it and export it to my office, no other changes. After I saw this however... it is really blurry. It seemed to me that if the video demoted to 240 p.

I would like to help with this, I would like to make my videos much more crisp and sharper than that... the image itself has been designed around 500 x 800 pixels, so there should not be a problem with the picture itself (I think)...

    Help meh!
    -Supy

Well, we found the problem! You start with an image of HD quality, stuffing in a sequence to only 720 x 480 DV, losing more quality... and then export the image shrunk down is actually jumping again HD.

If you intend to export at 1080 p, then sequence settings must also be 1080 p. Think of a sequence like a picture frame. If you have a photo 8 x 10, you need, for example, a frame 8 x 10, not a 4 x 6.

Please use file > New > sequence, then AVCHD 1080 p > and then decide what rate to deliver, 30 or 24, and then choose a preset suitable to work with. What frame rate you select, and then use the same for export (in reality, it is rate of 29.97 or 23.976, rounded names for simplicity).

    Thank you
