Image on site not displaying on Firefox

Hello

I have problems with an image on my website www.sanomag.com.au.

The image in the left sidebar (green 'all-in-one advertising' ad-box) does not appear on Firefox. It seems in good condition on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. According to me, what we could do with a coding problem because I checked and the images are not blocked for the site or any site on Firefox.

Can you please help me?

Thank you!

No problem with this image in Firefox.

This image was "ad" in the name, so make sure that you have no ad-blocking software or extensions which have rules that are triggered by such a name.

It is usually best to avoid names that are automatically blocked in extensions such as Adblock Plus popular filter sets.

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • WordPress Image downloaded but not displayed

    Hi guys,.

    I am struggling to find out why the images on my site are not displayed once I have download using WordPress. The only way I can make them work is if I download, then edit, rotate the image and save. It's very tiring to do for hundreds of images. Here is my Web site. In the gallery there is a collection called "Launch September 18, 2013". If you click on the first picture there is an error saying "unable to load image. Make sure that the path is correct.

    I was pulling my hair out on this for days, so I thought I would ask for help with this issue. I searched all forums in WordPress and there is no solution to the problem. I also tried to add below line of code in wp - config.php, but this just removes all images of each page. Could that be a permalinks issue? I have it currently and / category%/%postname%/.

    Your help would be greatly appreciated:

    Your images are all back 500 error in URL rewrite Module.

    I assume that your site is running on IIS from Microsoft Windows Server:
    http://forums.IIS.NET/t/1159252.aspx

    (Which explains why the images work after you change them too.)

    Or set up your Apache Server

  • SWF are not displayed in Firefox

    I am building a website using DW 8.02. Simple HTML/CSS site, with a few small SWF animations inside. I've done this before, no problem, but for some reason, this time the SWF files do not appear in Firefox, as they are not yet downloaded. Site works perfectly on IE and Opera.

    All the basics of starting: code looks exactly like the one on sites that work, Scripts folder is located on the server, as well as js. file... everything looks ok.

    Curious things: if I browse locally on my HD site, SWF files display okay. Also, if I type the full URL to the SWF file, it will display in FF.

    Clues as to what could be the problem?

    Found the culprit: Adblock more: it contains the string * banner * for automatic block.
    Never happened tome that the problem might be on this effect since I have been checking the site of 3 different machines, but they all had adblock configured the same way.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • FLV files are not displayed in Firefox, but do on IE Chrome and Safari

    I have the following code on a Web page to display a video file that is stored in an external location

    <object width="480" height="350">
    <param name="movie" value="http://flvnetwork.com/assets/YTPlayer.swf" />
    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
    <param name="flashvars" value="autostart=false&amp;frontcolor=lightblue&amp;backcolor=black&amp;file=http://flvnetwork.com/vod/iseehosting/media/lifejackets.flv&amp;image=http%3A%2F%2Fflvnetwork.com%2Fvod%2Fiseehosting%2Fmedia%2F4d1a61b3-892c-4201-af31-6f4e108c4511.jpg" />
    </object>

    Video files appear OK in IE8 and IE9 and Chrome on PC and Safari and Chrome on Mac. I don't see why it wouldn't display on Firefox in Mac or PC format.

    Kind regards
    Ian Johnson

    For Firefox, you must specify the file name in an attribute in the object tag.

    <object width="480" height="350" data="http://flvnetwork.com/assets/YTPlayer.swf">
    <param name="movie" value="http://flvnetwork.com/assets/YTPlayer.swf" />
    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" />
    <param name="flashvars" value="autostart=false&amp;frontcolor=lightblue&amp;backcolor=black&amp;file=http://flvnetwork.com/vod/iseehosting/media/lifejackets.flv&amp;image=http%3A%2F%2Fflvnetwork.com%2Fvod%2Fiseehosting%2Fmedia%2F4d1a61b3-892c-4201-af31-6f4e108c4511.jpg" />
    </object>
  • Why the image of the logo is not display in Firefox?

    The image of the logo for one of my sites does not appear. The alt image info is displayed. It is a relatively new problem. In older versions of Firefox, the image correctly. As well, the image displayed in browsers, Webkit and IE10. There is a specific problem of Firefox. The main URL for the site is: http://sabaki.aisites.com/dbs323/project/masterAi.php

    If you go to this URL in Firefox, you will see 'image of the logo' spread over two lines and before the text "COTin. If you view the same URL in Chrome or IE10, you will see the image. I have screenshots of the problem, but there is no way to include them here.

    Thank you, shift + reload has worked at the second attempt. Interesting that I had drained the cache many times previously (on the previous days in the last month). Good thing to know.

  • A web wiget using java acript in my web site is not displayed with Firefox, but done with ie; How can I solve this problem?

    I have inserted a java script web wiget on my web site by copy and paste. It works fine under IE (shows, updates of data etc.). It's not even showing up in FFox and no error message is given. If I look at the code in FFox, it is shown. Is there a problem with my website, or am I short something in FFox?

    I hope I'm not violating any policy by posting the code here:

    It's your source offered optional code. It seems to work in all my browsers. Firefox can't love the tags 'object' for some reason any.

    < embed src =http://ActionAmerica.org/flash/gsdCount.swf width = 240 height = 175 wmode = transparent type = application/x-shockwave-flash > < / embed >

    (I edited it because I posted the wrong code the first time.)

    I tried in Chrome, IE 10 and Firefox Aurora (the alpha version of Firefox). Aurora works just fine, by the way.
    Security settings for IE 10 did approve the execution of the script and it does not appear until I clicked on where it should be, but I use Windows 8 and it seems to have an unlimited number of bugs. It should probably appear on your XP machine.

  • Why my image transfer does not work in Firefox?

    I'm starting a new site.  In the middle of the page, to the right, I have a substitution effect simple image for the button of the EVENTS to COME.  It is also supposed to post a link to another page (yet not intended).  It works in Explorer, not Firefox.  How can I fix?  I guess I can go back to javascript, but it adds a lot of coding of the page.  I don't know what to do.    http://jeannettedutton.com/MLVC/

    That is the problem-

    {#rotating - point - wrapper

    position: relative;

    Width: 950px;

    height: 350px;

    background-color: transparent;

    z--index: 100;

    }

    Why is it you have assigned a negative z-index to this container?  As far as FF is concerned, this negative z-index places the element IN the page, so your mouseovers are all blocked from the page itself (the same thing happens in Safari, incidentally).  As a result, it is very dangerous to never use negative z-indices for any purpose.

    Try to change the z-index 1 and see what happens.

  • Cell borders are not displayed in firefox

    I have a table (actually several different pages) nested within an editable region on a page based on templates. Cell borders are set to black 1 px on 2 tables and 1 background color of px on 4 tables. In IE7, the tables display correctly with all cells bordered. In Firefox and Opera, show that the external borders of the table. The construction of the painting is necessary because it is really the data that should be displayed as a table. However, the model, is a nested table.

    Unfortunately the site is not powered, so I can't show you what is happening. I would be grateful for any input on this problem.

    Barbara

    Thanks for the help. I solved my problem by guess and check method. The table borders were applied in the properties area. When I went back and replaced by CSS formatting, all lines are displayed.

    The moral of this story is 'Use CSS!'

  • Image raster is not displayed

    Today, unexpectedly, stopped Illustrator display raster images. The file opens, but I just get a white work plan. The title at the top of the page bar displays the preview but it appears on the page. It does not matter if I import the file, or if I just open the file directly in Illustrator. I tried the PSD, JPEG, TIFF and PNG without success. This morning I redraw old logos for a client, and this afternoon I can't open anything that is rasterized.

  • WebHelp TOC does not display in Firefox and loads very slow in IE... advice?

    We have recently migrated to a webhelp online system so that we do not have to distribute documentation with our software.  We organize the webhelp documentation on our Web site and it's supposed to be accessible from our software.  Our problem is that the table of contents are loading very slowly in IE and does not at all seen Firefox.

    When I run the help locally (on our network or on my workstation), the table of contents works very well.

    During the last hour, I added the script to force the table of contents of synchronization (found on the site Web of Peter G)... and it did not help.

    Any advice on where to look?

    I can pm our URL for the help, if someone thinks it will help them to diagnose.

    Thank you!

    Jim

    (currently using Robohelp 8)

    No problem. Just load the page with the active Console tab. Then select the errors and you will not get the errors.

    Note: The table of contents are also very slow to load in Chrome. You have quite a few projects merged, so be sure that you set the correct speed optimization.

    The help of opening shows two errors in the Firebug console. I get a 404 on a missing file error: "" NetworkError: 404 not found - http://www.foodpro.com/help/release_2.4/webhelp/mergedProjects/FPUSRPRF/whxdata/whtoc.xml".

    The errors indicate that the merged projects 'checkfiles' and 'FPUSRPRF' are missing. I suspect that FF choke on the missing mergedProjects/FPUSRPRF/whxdata/whtoc.xml. Still, execution stops after that.

    But perhaps a merged help guru can tell you more.

    Take a bow

    Willam
