  What I see in Chrome, is that if the browser window is narrower than the content (therefore a horizontal scroll bar is present when the page is loaded) the 100% browser width is the width of the browser window and not the width of the content, so scroll to the right shows fill browser white to the right of the element of browser 100% width.

  It sounds like a browser bug where Chrome is not manipulating the CSS of the element width 100% correctly or Chrome believes that the content of your page is larger that any other browser seems to think it is. (The horizontal scroll bar in Chrome is displayed in window widths wider than in other browsers).

  1. open the layers panel (window > layers)

  2. in the control panel menu, choose new layer. In the dialog box, you can name the layer if you like Page numbers.

  Go to the properties of content (just above the lines)

  Additional options - then in width of formatting... give values such as 1000 or 100px

• Is it possible to get the image.width BEFORE the rendered image?

  I create an Image dynamically (in ActionScript) object and adding it to a cMain (Canvas container)

  I want to add it to a x / y location relative to an existing object in the canvas, so to do I'm putting myImage.x and myImage.y before making a cMain.addChild (myImage)

  Because I want to put the image right next to "SomeObject" into the canvas, I wanted to use something like:

  myImage.x = someObject.x - myImage.width;

  The problem is that Flex does not know the width of the image.  Of course, I could specify a specific width, but I actually do for the height (ie. myImage.height = someVBox.height), so it resizes the image and draw well, but does not give me the width of it.

  According to another discussion on this forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/137573#137573), I tried to determine the width of the image in an event.COMPLETE handler, but even when the image is finished loading, height and width are still unknown (both show as '0');  It seems that I might be able to determine size in event. MAKE, but this does not mean the image has ALREADY been added to my painting and drawing on the screen?  At this point, it's a little too late, because I need the value of the coordinate x of the image BEFORE rendering of this.

  Is there a possible way to do it? (other than images to make sure the photo editing, they are all some dimensions and then hardcode these dimensions in...)

  On a pc with a screen resolution 1280 x 1024 and smaller through IE, when scrolling to the bottom of the background scales image to force down the footer elements appear on the top of the verses of background image on the background color. The background image doesn't repeat from left to right and SHOULD NOT extend to any down. However, it's what happens on the pc. Thanks in advance for the help!

  I had this problem in CS4 and CS5 for over a year and have not been able to find an answer, or someone else with the issue. Help!

  In some cases, when I add pictures to a page (size does matter) the type on this page will be blurry or fuzzy. I have checked all the settings and can't find any consistency as to why it happens. Printing and document to PDF display fuzzy text and makes the page look different from the rest of the document.

  This new scriptlet is going more towards what you were asking. So that this works as expected, you resize all columns to its minimum width, leaving a lot of space on the right side. Click your cursor inside the table, and then run the script.

  I think he's following now exactly your current operating instructions - the current width of the table is subtracted from the space remaining (504 points), which is divided over gutter (NumColumns - 1) columns between existing ones.

  I do a site in muse and try adding breakpoints to make the site friendly. I have break points all the way from 1366 to 850. Whenever I try to add a less than 850 breakpoint it tells me "Breakpoints cannot create a position below the minimum page width." So I went into the properties of the site and seen that under the "available" tab the "Min-Width" is 320! I am very confused how this is possible.
