images become agitated when I resize to a smaller size

Using Fireworks CC, when I resize the images to make them smaller, the image is pixelated and jerky.  Any solution for this?

If you have accidentally changed the "Bicubic" interpolation to "Bilinear" method or "Nearest neighbour" in the dialog box size of the Image?

When I spend bicubic for one, I wind up with the same rough version.

  • When exporting photos to a smaller size, they become very blurry

Since I updated to version export newest was interrupted. I normally export the photo full size, then use other software to harvest, and watermark. The enlarged picture is crisp and clear just that I edited, but as soon as I change the size (be it in LR or other software), it becomes extremely blurred. Suggestions?

I exported just an image, the original had 4288 pixels on the long side. I exported specifying 800 pixels on the long side. I chose JPEG, 70% of quality. JPEG format that results has been equally strong and colorful than the original raw file. I saw similar to your reports, but personally have not been able to reproduce the problem. Can you post a screenshot of your export settings?

  • Does anyone has knowledge with the import of bitmap images that display perfectly similar to full screen & small

I created a file of projection for a cd-rom. In the project file, we have added buttons to display full-screen or return to the screen 800 x 600. I imported our company logo which is only available as a bitmap. In the flash program, I put across the 1200 dpi at reduced size logo. However, I noticed that the logo is horrible when scaled to small. But you click on the button to enlarge to full screen, the logo looks great. Flash seems to understand that big logo real size will be read better in full screen, but cannot manage the bitmap well when you scale to a smaller size. So I did a test where I saved the logo in Photoshop at the small size. It looks very small, but when you expand to full screen, the logo appears blurry. In other words, I don't get the best of 2 worlds. Is it possible to have a bitmap image appear visually crisp at full screen or smallscreen? I tried to save at different resolutions such as 500 dpi, 400 dpi and 300 dpi. 300A almost what I want, but seem sweet when you cut them in full screen.

Depends on a lot of things. Have you tried the 'use smoothing' option in the import of bitmap window? A logo is also still vector exactly due to similar reasons. If you can recreate it in a vector format you wouldn't have problems.

Another way to take is to calculate for the highest resolution at which the flash runs (usually 1920 x 1200) (very few people have higher resolution screens, and even 1920 x 1200 is a rare case, 1680 x 900 - more likely) and adapted the logo in Photoshop to this resolution.

This could also be a bug in the version of Flash you use. Another option is to have 2 images to 800 x 600 and full screen and change them accordingly with ACE (you can detect if the player goes to fullscreen or not with ACE)

But the most likely reason is that you have a bug in your version of Flash... 1200 dpi also seems too gigantic to purposes not printing, maybe the reason why you encounter the bug.

  • When I resize a photo to the web LR displays a very small image, not the actual size.

When I resize a photo to the web LR displays a very small image, not the actual size that appears when I download on a website! ???

Yes, it should work. It should show you exactly what the image will look like on normal, non-retine displays. At least if you have the resolution of your screen (in preferences-> display system) the value 'best for display '. In this case your computer exactly double the resolution.

The link I posted above is for when you want to go further. In fact, he shows how to send images of different sizes to people looking at your site on the retina against those who seek to your site on normal screens. This will allow a still sharper image that people can get on a display to display. What it basically does is make their web browser asks a 1600 pixel image if only they are viewing on a screen high resolution while asking a low-resolution image 800 pixels for people using normal poster. This example uses all available pixels to choose the type of display. It takes just a bit of HTML and javascript coding. My main site done automatically like smugmug has this built already, but my blog site does not automatically so I had to code around it. This makes your images look amazing on the screens with high resolution such as on the screens of the retina and iPads.

I have some pretty high resolution still panoramas I want to move from left to right, but when I resize the image to fit the image, the resolution drops to an unacceptable level. Is this possible? John

Make sure that before you add this photo to your project, you go to the preferences (under the Edit on a PC) and uncheck the default scale to the size of the image.

Scaling of artificially reduced image size your photo - no matter how large - the size of your video image, make detailed pans and zooms like your impossible. When it is not checked, your photo will be in full resolution and you will only see a small part of it in the preview window.

That said, don't forget that you work at video resolution, so some details will be lost. (Less so, if you change video high-def). And, of course, don't forget to make your timeline after you have added your pans and zooms to see a better representation of what your final video will look like.

    Hello

Could you please update on the operating system you are working on?

Is - this windows or Mac?

Also an update on the version of Ms Office installed on your system.

Do you feel it work with all the PDF' or a specific?

If you are using windows, try to repair Acrobat once and then see if that solves the problem.

Also, check the latest updates installed on your computer.

Launch Acrobat > navigate to help > check for updates.

Please, try the two steps and see if that fixes the problem.

  • Get an image to scale when the window is resized

    Hello

I noticed sometimes when I discover a window pop up and I resize this window the image grows as well. This happens sometimes in pop up windows (or any window I think) and sometimes it doesn't.

If I have a behavior attached to a thumbnail image in my web page that launches a pop - up with an enlarged this image version, how can I get the picture to resize more or less when someone resizes the window?

    Thank you!

    Babs

    Hello

Do not include the attributes width or height of the image size. Instead use css to set the width and height in percent values.

Important - because you don't know how your user will resize their browser, the image is not resized to scale unless you use side (e.g. php) server to resize the image, see - l http://www.bitrepository.com/resize-an-image-keeping-its-aspect-ratio-using-php-and-gd.htm.

It is possible to do this with javascript, but this requires a knowledge of the reports l / h to the code.

  • When you import images into the latest version of Lightroom CC why all my images become black so there's nothing to see?

I tried to import by different methods.  I created an external file on my hard drive and put the RAW images in there and asked Lightroom to import from there.  I also simply asked Lightroom to import directly from the card to the camera.

In both cases, I see the images on my screen but then one by one, they are converted to an image blackened with nothing at all.

I tried to put pictures in development but that makes no difference, even using the adjustment sliders.

I tried to export images from Lightroom in Photoshop CC.  There, I have a very dark version of the image.  While I suppose I could change it, I have no idea what the image before hand that I simply export a black image.

This happened only since I've upgraded to the new version of Lightroom on CC.  Before that, I had no problem and went through the laborious effort of crating a new catalogue over 25,000 images... maybe it's a very small number of images in actual value, but for me it's a great thing.

    Thank you

    Try this

    • Open Lightroom
    • Go to preferences - Presets and uncheck apply the automatic adjustment of the note
    • Restart LR
    • Now import images and see if it works

  • Animated images in place when loading new QML file

I noticed that when I insert new QML files, the images Animate into place.

For example, if the screen contains an image at the position X, Y, and width W and height H, then the image becomes visible at the point of coordinates 0,0-0 width and height 0 and anime then in place by flying over to the X, Y coordinates and more in addition to being finally width W and height H.

If I then click on the 'Back' button and enter this QML screen a second time, it does not animate.

This implicit animation is intended?  While the implicit animations are pretty amazing and a great tool to have, it seems intuitive to the use of screens animations implicit when they are first loaded. It creates a rather unpleasant company and Visual distraction when loading screen.

I thought that I could disable it by adding the following to the ImageView controls:

                    attachedObjects: [
                        ImplicitAnimationController {
                            enabled: false
                        }
                    ]

... but they are always animate.

    Thank you
