  Yes... 'media' refers to what we put on a timeline, so stills, video, graphics,... and the properties of the media used are important.   There is no diff if I download it directly or as a dependent file, all the images are only downloading about 20%, there is a large grey area. I have DW5.5. Download pages, but the images are not.   BINGO! I disabled AVG, which I've used for years, and was able to download. Just one had tested, but this definitely seems the problem. Assume that two heads are better than one.

  FURTHER: I discovered that I had to turn off the Web (Linkscanner) and email protection to make it possible to download. I left the computer and identity protections. I have the free version, so did not firewall. And thereby do not consider the upgrade. Husband like Avast, but will have to wait to try it. I would like to know if you have the same chance.

• iMovie Viewer will not show video and audio breaks.

  I use iMovie to edit a film for a project at school, but the viewer has suddenly stopped working! When I try to preview to watch the clips, the Viewer is all white. Also, when I play an audio clip falls after exactly 3 seconds, and you can see the two channel bars down. It's really annoying because I can't do my project at all if I can't see or hear everything that happens!

  What version of OS are you using? I guess that's not 10.7.5. If it's El Capitan 10.11.x there are known incompatibilities related to iMovie 9.0.9 (iMovie 11). Only iMovie 10.1.1 is fully supported in El Capitan.

• Problem with .gif images not in the process of disappearance

  Hi-

  I'm fairly new to photoshop. Lately I've been messing around with editing and gifs and have been sporadic success achieve what I decided to do. I'm looking for help with a peculiar problem which seems to appear again and again. The problem is that when I try to make GIFs. with a transparent background, gif images don't disappear properly once the file is moved out of photoshop.

  For example: I came across the following .gif yesterday and decided I want to try to edit for a surreal effect.

  I wanted to trim the beginning of animation where the man is on the bike and make sure the man just rolls backward on the ground (weird I know).

  I deleted the images I successfully is most wanted and reproduces images of animation that I wanted to play again so that the image would loop seamlessly. I then went through image by image and corresponding layer by layer, to remove the white background. I used the quickwand tool. It took a lot of time, but the gif was playing in photoshop that I wanted, a man back writhing on the ground for no apparent reason. Siiiiiiick.

  So I have everything save for web thing and devices, saved as a .gif file, and then I put it on the interwebs and it turns out that I have created this monstrosity:

  Please, please, please, someone tell what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I got the exact procedure even other gifs and had them turn out perfectly. What Miss me?  Please note that the problem is not that I did accidentally layers active for executives, so that I did not want their assets. I checked.

  Each image is defined as "don't throw"... which means that it will keep this visible frame throughout the animation.

  Select all the images in the Animation Panel and then right click on any change of setting this option.

• Update of the extension did not start more and why disappeared my (still works) add-ons/extensions in the add-it-manager?

  I use ff4 beta3 on a Win7 PC, this problem appeared in the beta 2 release.

  Some extensions still work very well: Adblock plus, NoScript,.

  Others appear in the menu of the hull, but aimless: video download helper, Ubiquity (a small rectangle behind the arrow in the menu right-click) and no longer work.

  Updated extensions via the button in the gui management either dosen't work.

  This problem is permanent. I don't think that there is a problem with some extension, but I could be wrong. I had installed about 30 extensions, many have been disabled.

  You can delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created if necessary.

  If you see disabled extensions are not compatible on the next departure in "tools > Modules > Extensions" and then click "Find updates" to do a compatibility check.

• Windows 8.1 Flash Pro - Pro: selection of the Menu panes and the window doesn't make it not fully, or are misaligned. Same thing with the scene

  This bug makes the program almost unusable for anyone using Windows 8.1.  I have a Setup dual monitor: 1920 x 1200 and 1920 x 1080, on the other hand, AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series drivers (latest versions), running on an OS Pro Windows 8.1.  When you try to view the various aspects of menu option, windows does not realized fully, or you are hidden.  Also the scene so moves to the lower right, making the program almost unusable. I tested it on a Mac, as well as on a windows machine 7 and it does not work here.  So it seems to be that in a machine Windows Pro 8.1.   I've attached screenshots of what I see.  Notice to the first image, we look on the new component document. You don't see the options fully and that they are shifted to the right out of sight.  The following image shows both the scene shifted to the right, as well as the document pane.  The options are not fully visible and trimmed off the coast.  The window itself is not resizable.  I erased the appdata and re-installed the program. Same result.  I tried to solve this via the cat, but your guarded network connection is lost. Please let me know if someone suffers from this and any resolution. Thank you!

  

  Thank you Sir!  The scale was the problem and the solution.  Clicking on settings-> display-> text and fonts link-> it was set by default at 125%. For anyone else who has this problem, set it to 100% and it will solve these problems.

• Captivate 7 slide notes and Audio endangered

  Some of my audio just disappeared (as well as slide notes) from one day to the next. Also, on some slides, audio is still there, but the notes have disappeared. I'm not crazy. I KNOW that I did this job, and he disappeared. The audio is missing in the notes I used when I made the record. What is going on? Help!

• HP Notebook: Wifi and Audio does not work after update of the 10 victory

  I updated the OS to win 8.1 to 10 and it was somthly, but after this recent update to win 10 all at once the wifi has ceased to recognize all the networks around it... also the audio has stopped working. I tried the two troubleshooting and found the audio starts to work after you troubleshoot but wifi does not work. This happens everytime I turn on my laptop, and whenever I have to solve an audio driver to fix it but the wifi doesn't work every time... Please help... I also tried to update the drivers of these two, but he said that the drivers are updated every time... Please let me know if anyone can guide me through this problem...

  Turn off the power to the adapter:

  I use Windows XPand receives my sound and audio to work, I got a lot of response to this problem, but not the right answers, I got my sound set correctly but my audio does not work. In my default audio device is defined as realtek hd audio that is not compatible for the audio device, I tried to remove it without any success because I don't know what else can be done to solve this problem.   Recently, I checked my RealTek HD Audio drivers and found that the "stdriver64.sys" driver is not digitally signed.  It can be connected to a crash problem that I have known for two weeks now, so I try to update all the drivers and see if it will solve this problem.  When I click on update drivers for RealTek HD Audio, a message returned quickly saying that all drivers are up-to-date.  But again controlled the pilot "stdriver64.sys" shows that it is not digitally signed.  Is there another way to update this driver or another way to take with this?  Thank you for your help.

• Windows does not recognize tv as audio device after it has been turned off and turned back on.

  I have my computer hooked up to a HD TV with the HDMI cable.  The sound also pretended on television.  The HDMI cable is connected to my Radeon HD 6950.  I use Realtek HD Audio Manager with the ATI HMDI default Audio device.  All records are up-to-date.

  When I put my TV off and leave the computer running, I go back and turn on the TV and the computer behaves as the TV is not plugged, but only for audio.  The video is still there.  In the audio playback window, I noticed that Windows would go to the optical audio device, even though there is nothing plugged into this Jack.  I disabled all other devices and left only the HDMI device, so it will not move on.  Now when I turn on the TV it is just like nothing is plugged in at all for the audio.
  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  It could also be a possibility that a manual entry is required from your TV to the HDMI connection, please check your Menu\setting where the HDMI and PC connection is checked once it is connected to options to switch the Audio and TV screens.

  To disable improvements audio speaker

   
  a. open sound by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type soundand then click on sound.
   
  b. on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.
   
  c. click the enhancements tab and then select the check box turn off all the improvements .
   
  If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.
   
  If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

  Not sure if your video was recorded with a variable rate without more information.

  1. what operating system for your components 14/14.1 first?

  2. what camera or device recorded video? If a mobile phone, iPad, iPhone, or one of these screen capture programs, it is most likely that you have a variable rate for your video. Premiere Elements has problem with this type of video. The symptoms of this beach of situation of desynchronization of audio to not be able to import the video at all. The typical solution into your video HandBrake for the H.264.mp4 with the version of constant frame rate and put in Premiere Elements project.

  3. you have two approaches to this issue of variable frame rate...

  a. before you think about hand brake, hold the program playback of video and audio of MediaInfo properties to determine if your video has 3 instead of 1 frame rate in video on the video display. If 3, then go ahead with the variable of Handbrake at the session of rate constant frame

• Captivate 5.5 > FMR > Trim: images removed and audio doesn't go away

  Dear all:

  It's my first time using Captivate 5.5 test and I did a recording (SW simulation with full movement) and now I need to remove some sections (pieces of video and audio related) to the cptx file. Browsing the web I found the pad option (properties > FMR change Options and I chose a start and end time: from 71.1 to 85.5) and when I click on the topping appears the message "Deleting frames", but when I play the cptx to new audio and video is still there. What am I doing wrong?. I have attached a picture showing this.

  On your screenshot I have detect the video was cut, the 'red line' in the middel of the slide on the timeline is shorter than the total duration of slide.

  But you have wrongly assumed that the audio is embedded in the FMR, has a separate scenario, you will need to edit audio with Audio, Edit, slide to remove the part you have carved in the FMR.

  BTW: Full motion recording is not the best practice with Adobe Captivate, since I see that you create software training. Please, try this with auto capture, you can even have three files at once: demonstration, training and evaluation. The natural workflow Captivate is creation of static slides instead of the video (like most of the other screen capture applications do) and happen at FMR only when necessary and automatically. This workflow has two main benefits:

  1. The file size will be much smaller
  2. The change is much easier than video editing: to add captions, images, synchronize, edit the captions that have been added automatically, change the movements of the mouse...

  I really recommend trying that the workflow. And take a look at the preferences (SHIFT + F8), recording Modes to see which will be added automatically in the mode of demonstration, assessment Simulation and training Simulation. Sorry for sounding so much as a 'teacher', which I am.
