  If I understand what you're trying to do it right, then it could work. It is very similar to my previous post, but now uses a little action that I created.

  (1) first, you need to action that I downloaded here

  DupSideBySide.atn - box

  (2) you then need to install the action. On the keyboard, press alt + F9 or option + F9 on a Mac to open the Panel actions. I always identify any existing action in the Panel. This does not remove them but clears the mess in the Panel shares. Then click «Clear all actions» Later, in order to restore the default actions just click on 'reset actions.

  

  (3) in the Panel shares will now be empty. Click the icon in the upper right and select "load actions".

  

  A dialog box opens and all you have to do is drag the action you just downloaded in this dialog box, highlight it and press load down.

  

  (4) you should see action in the Panel shares.

  

  (5) with the action in place start "image processor".

  

  (6) fill out the dialog box as needed. I opted to save jpeg, psd and tiff, but action does not care what kind of file selected. There is also no need to use the same folder names and places as I used it because they are not hard coded in the action. I created a folder named duplication on the office, which contains a subfolder called sidebyside but once again the subfolder is optional. The big difference here is the 'perform action' box and my DupeSideBySide action is selected, as shown below.

  

  (7) now, press the run button and it must duplicate and place next to all the images in the folder "duplication". The spacing between the images side by side is coded in the action are the borders hard, but I'm sure you can work out how to change them if necessary.

  the reason why you can't copy it is because it is NOT selected. (use the selection tool to select the option - then your menu will be NOT grayed out.

  a PSD file will copy very well (but if it has more than one layer - only the selected layer will be copied)

  also re: post #3 there is no need to unlock the layer - because - pasting in an existing document will stick (by default) in a NEW layer

  How to display the images side by side in the organizer of 11 items.  In items 9, it has been easy, but I can't find it in 11 elements or am I stupid?

  F12 should still work (cmd + f12 on a mac and you may need to add the fn key on a keyboard of laptop or short).

• Lost images, sides & editing in Lightroom 4.1

  Opening of Lightroom 4.1 apparently began about what it was a few months and so I lost all the pictures, I was working on. On re-import them in Lightroom, this took place quickly as if maybe they are highlighted, but all the sides and the changes remained lost. Do you know if it is possible to recover these?

  Look at the file-menu > open recent element. You can find a few other catalogs

  it.

  Or, search your hard drives for the Lightroom (extension .lrcat) catalog

  files. Open them all, one by one, to see which is the right catalog.

• Place Images side by side

  I want to put 2 pictures side by side in my div and would like to know the best way to do it. I had a table before which did the job, but something went wrong and my table could be placed in the div as an Ap Div that I don't want that on some browsers, it would move.

• I want to show two different images side by side

  I have elements 12 which is what I need, especially to adjust the size and color of my work and then transfer them to the Web site.

  Sometimes, I need to show the original sketch alongside the final piece that will be quite different.

  How to do this on 12 items please?

  Another method:

  Open the original image and the Image > resize > canvas size.

  Set the width to accommodate the two images.

  Click on the anchor to extend the canvas to the right.

  

  Open the 2nd picture.

  Select > all.

  Edition > copy.

  Return to the original (with extended canvas) and edit > paste.

  This puts the 2nd testament picture on a new layer that you can then resize/re-position if necessary.

• How to load images side when the swf file is hosted on a server without uplaoding it to the server?

  I am trying to build an online image resizing tool.
  problem I encounter are:
  
  1. create a button that allows the user to browse the file. Once the file is selected, it only shows the full path.
  2 lets say if she shows fullpath, but I try to load it into a movieclip, and this does not work because the swf file is located on the server and put the client.
  3. as far as I know, flash can only load the images located in the same server or internet.
  4. If I use php, asp, cgi... It can only make me 1 upload the image then resize later, but this is not wat I want.
  5. I need to 1 resize then download later, because if I have 100 and more photos taken of the digital camera, it's going to be very slow and cumbersome.
  
  What I tried:
  1. download 'image3.jpg' in the same directory as the "viewer.swf", and it works.
  2. not to upload the swf file to the server, but locally managed from the user's computer and open 'image3.jpg' and it works.
  3 upload the swf file to the server and open "image3.jpg" of the user's computer and the IT DOESN 'T WORK!

  I was wondering how much it is difficult to add an image to both sides of a sheet of fixed width (960px). Something like the American Motorcyclist Association. Their images are clickable ads - I just want to add static images.

  To paste two different images side by side on a newly composed mail follow these steps:

  1. Paste the first photo.
  2. Make sure that the cursor is flashing the lower right corner of the image.
  3. Press the space bar once.
  4. Paste the second photo.

  Note: after pasting the first picture, if you press on enter the cursor moves below and the next image is pasted as the first. Instead, if you press the space bar, the cursor moves to forward to the right and the next image will be pasted next to the first.

• How I have 2 pictures side by side tiles and send them by e-mail?

  For comparison purposes, I want to send two photos in mosaic by e-mail. I am using a Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. I can do using LR or Photoshop Elements 10?

  I can and have export/send only one photo using the LR export, not two photos into Mosaic page.

  I tried following your instructions and got as far as the Layout Panel and was able to show two images side-by-side in the picture settings. But what then?

  1. in the work print game Panel the "print to:"option "JPEG file".

  

  2. click on the button at the bottom right of the screen-[print to a file...]

  

  3. Select a folder location and save the new file jpg with an appropriate file name.

  

  4. If you hope to send an email using Lightrooms link email-Note: the saved image will NOT appear in the Lightroom library (until import you or make a folder to synchronize).  Otherwise just open your e-mail program and send the image as a file "attached".

  Can you post a clip of your image 'tiled' screen in the print with the expanded "Layout" Panel open module. ?
