  WINDOWS VISTA: I downloaded files in a new folder in windows Explorer.   Later when I went to look at the files, they weren't there, I had to click on a button that says "compatibility files" then I could see them.

  Is it possible that the default view can be set to automatically considers the compatibility files?

  When you use an application for which virtualization is enabled, you create data files in virtualisables file system locations. When you use another application or Windows Explorer to access these newly created files, you cannot find them. For example, if you save a file in an application in the %ProgramFiles%, %any, % lecteur_systeme % or % programdata % photo editing files, you do not find this file.

  To resolve this problem, use one of the following methods:

  • Click the compatibility files button that appears in the Explorer bar to view files virtualized folder. The compatibility files button appears only if the virtualized files in the folder.
  • Look in the folder of \AppData\Local\VirtualStore C:\Users\User_nameto locate files and folders.
  • Save your application data in a folder under your user profile.

I'm editing a video 23 GB and now the library file to a video is close to 400 GB. How can it be that is great? I have some files of different libraries, I am still getting used to the use of imovie and straighten them all into one soon, when I get a bigger hard drive. How and why is a library of files almost 400 GB right? There are definitley only a project in this imovie library. hen I select "display the contents of the package", it is only 1 file for the project I'm working on that.   What is your project? What are the specifications of your imported 23GB clip? Looks like it's maybe 1080 p or 4 k video.   This encoder is used? iMovie sets project properties based on the first clip placed on the timeline, so if your video is a long GOP Encoder then editing in iMovie will be large as well. Some users use a separate library for each project so no need to combine projects into a library.

  You can download a track from Deep Exploration from Right Hemisphere. When ask to install, just install the plugin 3ds to HR. I did this for Maya, it works perfectly.

  I get an error in DW CS3 that says ' the file required for Contribute compatibility does not exist on the server. You want to disable the compatibility with Contribute?'
  
  I get this warning when I enable Contribute in the site definition and then try to check-in and one page.

  Usually, this has been fixed by the administration (open Contribute and go to Edition, administer websites and choose your site) the website through Contribute after you have enabled compatibility contribute in Dreamweaver

  I want to download videos on my computer and have it available on both pictures and iMovie. Do I need to download twice, which seems very ineffective, or is there a workaround?

  It works for me with Final Cut Pro (I think it'll work on iMovie too):

  1. Add video to your photo library.
  2. Go to your pictures folder.
  3. Right-click on "Photo Library".
  4. Press "view the contents of the package.
  5. Go to 'Masters '.
  6. Select the year, month and day, that video was made (you can easily check this in the Photos app by making a right click on the video, then click on 'Get Info').
  7. Drag the specific video in the iMovie app for use with iMovie.

  I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 from XP.  I have an online game (war hammer) with some friends and need to download a few files of curse.com to upgrade my interface in this game.  Under XP, things has worked well, but here's my problem with Windows 7.

  Everything by searching my directory of war hammer I found it under Program Files (x 86) vs my normal method on my desk or in the program file.  I keep Electronic Arts Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning - Interface - Addons.

  From here, I have the head on the Curse.com website and save the files under this folder.  Then, I went to winzip and extract use them all in the game (war hammer).  When I tried to see the files in that folder, I was surprised to see 'nothing' listed!  I called a friend to walk me through the way he his under windows 7 and for some reason any, he has his records and mine are gone.  However, there is a button at the top that says: "compatibility files"?  If I click this button then all of my files show but for some reason any, that they cannot be played in the game to do what I need to do...

  Thoughts?

• Compatibility of the files with a program of fuel injection

  "I loaded a program of fuel injection on my new Win 7 laptop.the program works accept one of the folders are in the compatibility files," "ECU updates". Problem is that I can not use this folder. (IE I can'tupload to it) Can it be transferred to C:\ Program files (x 86) with the rest of the program so that it will run?

  I'm having a problem with one of my scripts adding hyphens instead of spaces to the files saved by export > SaveForWeb-feature. I realize it's because of the "unit of compatibility file name >"-box under output settings, but I can't find any info on how to disable this thing. The ExportOptionsSaveForWeb object does not seem to cover this particular setting.

  The temporary file name must not have spaces, for example "tempSWF.jpg".

  EDIT: just saw that it was PNG so use something like "tempSFW.png".

  If the tempname had spaces or other strange characters when recording file name could be different!

  I want to create a film based on shots from my personal camera. I started to work with IMovie to create a sequence of opening and added his musical band. I exported the scenes in Quick Time format without any problem. However, when I merge the exported sequence of I film with shots of my video camera, the soundtrack is completely eliminated.

  I checked on the Internet and saw that there might be a problem of "Codecs". To avoid this, I exported the sequence IMovie with Codecs of same as one of my video camera files.

  Now, if I compare the files exported from I Movie and those of my video camera, they have identical characteristics. However, the soundtrack will always disappear when I merge them.

  Could someone please help me solve this problem?

• iMovie suddenly stopped working properly when editing

  I worked on a project basis in iMovie when it froze and stopped working properly.  I decided to force smoke but every time I have opened since then, it still does not work right.  (Can't see the project in the upper left window, can't see the cue for where you are in the video, cannot change and several other things).

• How can I burn a DVD using the latest iMovie?

  I'm used to be able to export my iMovie as files DV videos.  I want to retain the original quality without compression.   This is no longer the case with the new iMovie app.  The only choice now is to 'Share' and the same year, when sharing, I always get a message of failure on the part.  I watched the video recorded in my iMovie file and saw that it was only the edited video.  Everything stops, I added was not in the video, but they were in the folder as separate items.  I used to be able to just drop the video filled in iDVD and let this app the rest.  What is the best method to use?  My iDVD crashes now.  Y at - it an application to burn DVDs either free or at a reasonable price?  It's urgent!  I have a project planned for delivery in a few days!

  To burn a DVD with the latest version of iMovie's iDVD, you must export the movie using the export button and select 480 p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, and then drag this file in the sequence exported to iDVD menu window, avoiding the drop areas that see you.
