  I would start by temporarily disable encryption on your wireless network wireless. Once you do, try to see if your iBook can connect now. If so, the AirPort card built into your iBook isn't able to connect to networks wireless using WPA or WPA2. It depends on the version of the card itself.

  What model or the exact order number is your iBook? The two would begin with the letter "M". For example, a typical model number would be: M2453 PC. An example of a sequence number would be: M7707LL/A. All the iBook G3 had the option for a map AirPort 802. 11B.

  I have a new Airport Base Station Extreme Home (2015) and of course I can't access to iBook using WPA2Personal.

  I wonder if I can connect an old spaceship Airport to the current Airport Extreme and access the Internet from the iBook to the old base station?

  Unfortunately, you will not be able to use an old base station 802.11 g with current 802.11n or 802.11ac in a scope base station or types of roaming networks.

  The only option I see, but a 'disorder', would be to use the base station older as another way to access the Internet just for the iBook. It would say that you need connect to your current modem and basically disable your network existing in use. I was hoping to find a USB wireless adapter for your iBook that supports WPA or WPA2, but some initial research has transformed the empty. Sorry! They're portable old neat and I can understand why always wanting to get some use out of it.

• OS 10.4.6 - iBook G4 800 - boot problems

  So, Safe Mode: started OK (content of the look all OK) BUT no access to the use of the Airport (so no WiFi). Not nice.

  What should I do to eliminate the things that safe mode ignores, so that the normal startup will be good?

  There were a few old iBook models that had the panics of the nucleus associated with the Wi - fi

  default material; generally the logic board may have contribute issues that may result

  in a kernel panic.

  Sometimes as simple as a memory chip or a card airport, so replacement can help.

  I have an old airport express (used as an extender) and a Comcast cable modem. In order to get a signal on my iPhone (AT & T), I had a microphone AT & T cell. I can't use the microphone cell as there is only a single port ethernet on the modem. If I buy a new Terminal Airport Express or extreme, either will work as an Extender of the internet to my computers iMac so that boost the signal of my iPhone?

  If your modem is a simple modem, an AirPort base station would work. For the extension, the 'old' AirPort Express should be a 802.11n model if you want to do it with a wireless connection between base stations.

  By "restart my iPhone signal" If you are referring to his cellular signal, then no.. Only the MicroCell can do that.

• iBook ios10 problems

  Changes to the ibook in ios10 are NOT an improvement:

  1. the two page mode is now can be used with very small font

  2 the Library button is missing

  3. the function of the word define disappeared

  I liked my ibook so much, but now I really hate that!

  An improvement would have been to create a way to automatically sort books alphabetically by author and title.

  Please - at least back to where it was.

• Airport Express, Time Capsule and Airport Express using the same network

  Just moved into a new House and this is what I install.  I have 7 Port wired into the House.

  Closet of network in the Garage:

  • Cable modem
  • Airport Express
  • netgear switch 8 ports
  • It works pretty well.  All my wired connections work fine.  Wireless is quite good but cove not enough of space in my house.

  Think about adding my airport express capsule of time in my office - plugged into one of the hard wired connections.  Who works AND let me wish the WIFI?

• My AirPort Extreme end not implemented with the help of AirPort Utility

When I try to set up as a Wireless extender to my last existing AirPort Extreme, he will not carry out synchronization upward with AirPort Utility. It appears as a new extreme, but get a message 'unexpected error' before or after the name. Have you tried to reset the two while it is powered and turning the as explained in the help.

  I am trying to connect and listen to music from my iPhone 6 iOS 10.0.2 through the music app. My phone does not see the Airport Express Terminal more. All I see is my Apple TV. I can connect to the Airport Express terminal when I use iTunes on my computer. My iPhone is used to connect to the Airport Express Terminal.

  I checked my Airport Express for the updates and it is updated in accordance with the programme of AirPort and PC utility App.

  You already have a newer version 6.3.6 of AirPort Utility installed on your Mac... Since the AirPort Utility is part of the Mac operating system.

  Open Finder > Applications > utilities > utility AirPort to confirm.

  6.3.1 airPort utility could only be installed if you are using a much longer operating system on your Mac.

  The AirPort in my MBP 15 mid-2012 is a failure. It is replaceable by the user? If so, can I put my MBP to an AC AirPort wireless card?

  The WIFI chip is on the motherboard and is not user serviceable or editable.  You might be able to find an external WIFI adapter that supports 802.11ac, but that internal is not extensible.
