implement the officejet 4500 to print documents from my ipad

How do I configure my Officejet 4500 wireless to print documents from my Ipad?

If the Officejet 4500 Wireless is configured on a network, then you print an app on the iPad.

There is an application called HP ePrint home & Biz application which can be downloaded on the iPad.  This application allows a user to print from mobile devices such as the iPad.

For more information on how to use the home & Biz application click here.  I hope this helps.

ENVY 5660 e-all-in-one printer can print documents (for example, .doc files) from a USB connected to its USB port?

Similarly, can the Pro OfficeJet 8710 or 8720 print documents from a USB connected to its USB port?

    Hi DaleBr,

Any printer PCL3 as the Officejet Pro 8710, 8720 support only Photos of pritning from a USB (JPEG and BMP), it cannot print the document files such as ir PDF DOCX to a thumbdriver, but only to a computer...

The HP Envy 5660 only support printing Photos from a device memory too, but only from SD card, there are not any USB port for a USB.

None of the models above can only print from a computer or a mobile device...

8730 Officejet Pro which is a postscript printer to print PDF, Word and Powerepoint support files directly from a USB (Latin characters), however it is a commercial product and cost more as such:

  • HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel

My HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer does not appear on the control panel.  How to fix it.  I have a laptop Toshiba and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.  Help, please.    rwillm

    Hey,.

Thanks for the update, rwillm.  It seems that the installation of the printer can be a little messed up.  If the printer software is always installed, but simply lacks the printer, then I would advise to do a little cleaning before choosing to add the printer back.

    • Make sure that the printer is deleted from the file devices and printers
    • Click on one of the remaining printers folder
    • Select the properties of the print server at the top of the window
    • Click the tab drivers
    • Remove all drivers in this window for the Officejet 4500

Also check in the Device Manager to verify that there is no mention of remaining of the 4500.

    • Click on the start menu
    • Right click on computer
    • Select manage in the list
    • Click Device Manager in the list of questions on the left side of the window that opens
    • Click the view at the top of the menu, and then select Show hidden devices
    • Remove all references to the 4500 in the list of devices

After making sure of the device is gone, I recommend bike devices in the power circuit: router, computer and printer.

    * Make sure the printer has a valid IP address after switching back on and is connected to the same network as your PC before adding the printer.

If the IP address and SSID are good for the printer, then try to add the printer with the printer software, you have installed.

    • Click on the Start Menu
    • Click on all programs
    • Open the HP folder
    • Open the folder for the series of the Officejet 4500 G510
    • Select Add a device option

Let me know how it goes,

As the topic says my printer is skip lines when I try to print the document from my pc, but coppying documents while the printer is not connected to the pc works perfectly so I would appreciate your help to solve my problem.

P.S. I tried Kaleidoscope twice but it does no effect whatsoever, I am using hp Deskjet 2050 J510 series

This is not usually a symptom of software or programs.  If the ink levels are not accurate in the software of the printer it still would not affect the print quality of which is (the technology is unpredictable sometimes though).

Try a hard reset of the printer, although it is still on and shut down the computer.  When all the powers on back, do a test print.  If printing still only all other lines, follow the document below from four Solution.  Solution Six shows you how to print a test page which will give you a more accurate account of the ink levels.  Once that prints, please tell me what it displays in the form of ink levels and if it shows any other signs of defects.

  • OfficeJet 4500 510n - print jobs stuck in the queue when using wireless

    Hello

I bought just a new Officejet 4500 510n yesterday and I have a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit laptop that I connect to the USB or wireless. The reason for this is that sometimes, the laptop is not right next to the printer and we need to print things (for example, my wife works upstairs sometimes with the laptop and the printer is downstairs in the living room). I was able to get the configuration of the printer on both the wireless and USB without any major problems and it prints fine when I print via USB. However, when I print wireless, the print job appears in the queue and shows that it is printing, but he never curls work all the way. The work gets "stuck" while waiting in line, for example, it gets stuck at 772 bytes of 940 bytes

I downloaded the HP Print Diagnostic here tool and ran it and and it passed all the tests first time. However, when I goto the last test, which is to print the test page, it sends the print job to the queue and then everything gets stuck as indicated above. I was able to cancel the job and it comes off very well, but restarting the work does not work, it just get stuck again. Meanwhile, I don't get ANY error messages at all.

Here's what I've done regarding troubleshooting:

    -Ping the printer - spent

-Restart the service print spooler - no change to the problem

-Check that the printer is set as deafult - spent

-Update of HP Ran to ensure there is no missing updates - found 2 updates and install them

None of the above has solved the problem, so I'mm this ad here in the hope that someone may have had this problem before and fixed it.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply.

It turns out that I could solve it myself. I went to add the printer wireless on another laptop, I have here on my home network and it printed a page of test very well, so I thought it must have been a bad installation on the main laptop.  I removed everything and reinstalled as a wireless printer, and it worked perfectly. Amazing what can make a bad installation.

    Hi @sky9,

    Thanks for the reply.

The version of MS Office is not the problem it's the corruption on the computer. I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall MS Office and ensure that the updates of Windows are updated.

  • I can not long print documents from my iMac/Snow Leopard / HP Laserjet 2300dtn combo. because everytime I try, a message pops up: ERROR: A Fax number is not provided. There is no mention of "fax" in the "print and fax ' file in Prefs system.»

I use an iMac 2011 under Snow Leopard, but it can no longer print documents via my hp laserjet 2300dtn printer. Reason: whenever I try, a message appears through the PRINT icon in the Dock, read: "ERROR: has not received a Fax number. There is no fax option in the Print & Fax window in the System Prefs so I have no idea about the origin of the error message, but suspect there is corruption in the printing preferences.  So I went username/library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs plist... and a file is moved to the trash. Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved. I am far away computer and would love advice for this situation.

  • Officejet 4500 wireless printing fails even if connected

I have an Officejet 4500 G510n z connected to a wireless network.  The wireless network is on a different subnet than my cable network.  I can ping and navigate on the admin page to the printer from another laptop wireless but I can't ping or connect to my Wired subnet admin page.  I am able to ping my desktop wired to other devices on the same wireless subnet.   Help, please.

    Hi 2243588,

Because the wireless network is on a different subnet so your wired network and your printer is located on the wireless network, the printer will be able to communicate with devices on the wireless network.

To resolve this problem and allow all your devices communicate with each other, you must be on the same subnet. There is no real reason to implement 2 subnets unless you have more than 255 computers. The essence of subnetting is to reduce your broadcast domain when you manage a large network. Is there a reason that you use 2 subnets?

I found a thread that you may find useful, please take a look > establishing a network with 2 subnets.

    I hope this helps.

  • OfficeJet 4500: The Officejet 4500 Toolkit

I just bought a new pc with Win 10 (64-bit).  When connecting my Officejet 4500, Windows recognizes the printer and scanner.

The printer works fine and so does the scanner.  My problem is where can I get the software tools for managing ink cartridge levels or calibration of printer line-up?

    Thank you

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

Can select you the correct printer from the link, download and install the FULL features software. Make sure that you choose to win 10 of the operating system.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/identify?q=OfficeJet+4500&tool=s-002#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930O2

Once you have downloaded and installed the full features software, click on the wizard of the printer (on the desktop) and it will bring up interface where you can click the ink levels Estimatred to manage the levels of cartridge of ink or calibration.

    Example is shown below

  • HP Envy 4500: Repeat Printing Documents

    Hi all

I have recently, in the last six months, plug a HP Envy 4500 series all-in-one printer as a gift for my parents. Apparently, he has a problem where it printed a document several times (despite asking only one copy) and will continue to print it whenever the printer is on.

On my advice, my parents followed the instructions of RESUMES provided here , but it made no difference to the problem. My hunch would be to reset the printer, but of course the menu aboard is unvailable while it's printing. Someone has any advice on what to do to solve the problem?

    Many thanks in advance,

    D.

    Hi @Darius89,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP Envy 4500 continually prints an earlier document that was printed. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

Just to clarify, if you leave off the computer and turn on the printer, the printer still print the same document?

Is this document something that has been printed from the computer? Or is it an alignment page perhaps?

In the meantime, please try a hard reset by following the instructions contained in this message, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.

Hope to hear from you soon and thank you for posting!
