  I'm trying to measure the frequency and phase of a square wave from a data acquisition card using vi retrieves your unique information. So far, the frequency can be measured precisely, but there are a few problems with the measurement of phase.

  A square wave is not a single signal ;-)

  If you have a square wave use the edges to make measurements.

  Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  Is it possible to change the scale default measurement tool in Acrobat Pro? I have a bunch of plans to tag for a construction project, and they all have the same scale (1 inch to 6 feet). Whenever I boot Acrobat is reset to "mm mm 1:1.

  You can change the scale by right-clicking anywhere on the page of the measurement tool is active, but you can not new permanent settings. When you close the application, they go back to the default 1:1 scale - but if you keep open Acrobat and just open/close each PDF, the scale will remain.

  It's probably a good idea to put your thumb under Preferences page units > units - this way, you only need to change the second field in the popup box when you re - open Acrobat.

  (1) take another column in your criteria.

  2) click on the fx and remove the content. Enter "FactSales" you have in your example.

  (3) in the pivot table, put this column under columns, above the "measure of labels. It will appear above the column heading.

• Use the old C3 SWF in Captivate 5 - the best way to convert project?

  I'm updating some old e-Learning content created in Captivate 3 in Captivate 5.

  This includes some animations that are small 1 or 2 slides C3 SWF.

  These don't work in C5 as they are implemented in ActionScript 2.

  I tried to open their original .cp files in Captivate 5 and then republishing to AS3.

  This translates into animation (sometimes) play when I play the slide in the edition, but in the preview window or

  Edition I get a white grey that does nothing.

  Strangely the C3 project containing sovereign wealth funds comes through relatively spared apart from that (well a few invisible buttons and some changes of fonts).

  The only solution I have at the moment is to open the file in C3, copy the background, then use the bottom in a new project of C5 and tinkering with positioning etc of mouse, which is far from ideal.

  Is there a better way to do this?

  (BTW I also access to C4 if it helps)

  I would try the upgrade of my Cp3 project files that generate these SWFs to Cp4 format and then first to Cp5 Cp4.

  Once you have your problems to the Cp5 format should be minimal, as far as compatibility goes.

  Take a look at the iunformation of your unique extract VI found in treatment of signal-measures

  Keep in mind that you have a multiplexed input, so you measure a certain delay in all cases.

  (apply the same signal on both channels, for each sampling rate used, measure the phase, calculate the "group delay" for the correction)

  I have a problem with the implementation of the shift register using tables.

  Here I use interleaver in channel 4. First bit should go directly to the output. 2nd bit should go in a shift register which is initialized to 0. 0 should go to the exit and entry should replace the registry of offset value.

  Similarly, in the 3rd round, 2 element shift register is present initialized to 0. Here, too, 0 should go to the exit element (0) first should get input should come in the shift register. And in the 4th inning, 3 element shift register will be there.

  I tried to apply this using tables, but I'm not be able to crack. Using loops with disabled automatic indexing is the key to this?

  I have a BNC 6259 M Series DAQ USB. I am currently using the DAQ Assistant to perform simple cash rising measured with the measuring mode single sample on request. I tested my VI with a known square wave with a function generator signal and it clearly lacks a few edges. I think that the solution lies in faster sampling. However, I was not able to understand how to use clocks to set up continuous sampling mode. I tried the forums and I found articles that were close, but not quite exactly the problem I am facing with as (http://forums.ni.com/t5/Digital-I-O/trying-to-use-NI-6251-s-DIO-port-as-input-and-output/m-p/448035#...) or (http://forums.ni.com/t5/Multifunction-DAQ/Using-Counter-of-PCI-6024E-with-Quadrature-Encoder/m-p/984...). Any guidance here would be great.

  In fact, the calendar should not have anything to do with the edges being detected.  Configuration of a sample clock for a county of just edge task allows you to enjoy deterministically in the account register and has no impact on the edges which can be counted.  Also, the analog examples really have nothing to do with what you seem to be asking questions on.

  ... So it leaves the question unanswered as to why you might miss the edges.  Perhaps the following information could shed some light on the question:

  1. it is possible that you do not configure the counter exactly as you think you are.  Can you post the VI you use?  As a point of reference, count digital events shipping example does not use any clock sample timing and just questioned the value of the register count with a software loop, but the meter should not miss all this edge on the input source.  There are examples that are timed by the material available as well, but this is not necessary, unless you need a constant specified dt between your counter samples.  To use the examples of the timed sample, you will need to generate a clock of either another subsystem on the map or use an external clock.

  2. assuming that the configuration of the counter is not the issue, there may be a problem with the method that you use to determine if you are away from the edges.  How do you know that you are away from the edges?  The function generator produces only a finite pulse amount?  You start the meter before start out impulses?

  3. If the two points above do not raise red flags, it seems likely that the meter is registered just not some of the impulses of your FGEN.  Can I assume that the output of the FGEN is 0 - 5V TTL?  What is its frequency and duty cycle?  The maximum external source for the meter on the M-series products: DAQ (like the 6259) is specced at 20 MHz, but this depends on a clean signal with good connections.  At frequencies above it, the bandwidth of the front-end of the PFI lines becomes limiting.  If you have an available specification document for your FGEN I'd like to be able to see it.

  I hope this gets you throw on the right track to solve the problem - impatience comes back with more information.

  The configuration of my inspection VBAI code section indexes automatically through a series on the exposure time.  The intensity of the image, to each exposure time, is compared to the parameters of current at the time of the exposure range.  (This is due to the many colors of part) When both the parameter corresponds to the intensity of the image AND the exposure time, he acknowledged the best exposure time setting, and it stops and is then ready for inspection tests.  Different pairs of time of exposure and intensity parameters are part of the code of the algorithm.  When the new colors are added, the code must be expanded.

  I'm not sure that I fully understand what you want to do, but it looks like you might be able to take advantage of the new feature of table in VBAI 2012. With this, you can create two variables 1 d digital... one who is an array of values of exposure and the other which is an array of measures of intensity. In the part of the configuration of your control, you can either use two table operator not (to get the same index in each array), or you can use a step of the calculator to get exposure to acquire with time and intensity expected to compare to.

  You can also use step INI of read/write on the last tab to update these variables of two table with values of exposure/intensity since an INI file is easy to update the INI and get your up-to-date without changin the inspection automatically set variables you need to add more combinations.
