Import error IMP-00017 and ORA-01950 no privileges on tablespace

Hello

I'm doing a full import in a 10.2.0.4 database since a 9.2.0.6 export dumpfile. Tablespaces have already been pre-created. I had this error on a tablespace, and I can't understand why because I was using SYS to import, how is it SYS do not have this privilege. All other tablespaces objects have been created without this problem.

-IMP-00017: statement failed with error ORACLE 1950:
"CREATE TABLE 'FYAERLG'...".
-ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace "INFOTABLES".

Help, please.
Thank you

-lixidon

Who is the owner of "FYAERLG"?
Try to grant the owner of the table, the quota on the tablespace INFOTABLES.

    This isn't a question of privilege object, it is an error to the user not being able to access the table space table used to store the data.

    Exactly what I said. Given that the table belongs to ELECTION_MASTER, you MUST grant tablespace quota to ELECTION_MASTER. Question:

    ALTER USER ELECTION_MASTER QUOTA UNLIMITED ON JERUSALEM_TBS;
    ALTER USER ELECTION_MASTER QUOTA UNLIMITED ON TEL_AVIV_TBS;

    SYS is not the user who needs quotas. By default, SYS has unlimited tablespace. Make sure that mySMCHA has quota as you create the table in this schema.

  • ORA-01031 (Insuffecient privileges)

    I get an insufficient privileges error while trying to access a view owned by sys.

    Logged on as user SYS AS SYSDBA, I create a role with the following statement and grant a privilege object the sys belonging to table:

    Drsdb_dba CREATE ROLE NOT IDENTIFIED;
    GRANT SELECT ON sys.dba_role_privs TO drsdb_dba;

    Then I create a user and assign the role of drsdb_dba:

    CREATE USER drsdb (...);
    GRANT drsdb_dba to drsdb;

    Logged on as user DRSDB, I try to create the view:

    VIEW to CREATE or REPLACE all_user_roles AS
    Beneficiary of SELECT AS username, granted_role
    OF sys.dba_role_privs
    WHERE granted_role LIKE '% DRSDB '.
    AND dealer NOT LIKE 'DRSDB % ';

    CREATE VIEW produces an error on the line:
    ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    I think that, since I gave the right to SELECT the object through the role and then the role assigned to the user, the user would have access to the object. This seems not to be the case. I need to assign the privilege object directly to each created user who needs access to the display? If so, I don't see any real purpose to the existence of a role since I've always thought that roles exist so that we do not have to assign the object privilege long lists to each user that is created. Instead, the object privileges are assigned to a role and then the role is assigned to different users.

    If the role approach will not work, is it possible that I can accomplish the same thing?

    Of course, the most likely scenario is that I do something wrong and it is enough to be headed in the right direction.

    DBelt wrote:

    The user has access to the object, but not in the context you expect.

    This seems not to be the case.

    As you said, and I found in the documentation:

    The owner of the schema containing the view must have the necessary privileges to either select, insert, update, or delete rows from all tables or views on which the opinion is based. The owner must be granted these privileges directly, rather than by a role.

    I need to assign the privilege object directly to each created user who needs access to the display?

    Who discovered the DBA_ROLE_PRIVS view or one that you create out of this point of view? If you talk about your custom view then users don't need to have certain privileges on the custom not discovered the paintings that she represents.

    If so, I don't see any real purpose to the existence of a role since I've always thought that roles exist so that we do not have to assign the object privilege long lists to each user that is created. Instead, the object privileges are assigned to a role and then the role is assigned to different users.

    It depends on how the objects will be used ultimately. In some cases the roles are not practical. In general, you see a similar problem with the roles and procedures since procedures, by default, are created with copyright (read: disabled role).

    MOS, there is hardly this error information, except if you transfer the file by FTP in ascii mode.

    There is something that I am missing?

    Any idea?

    Concerning

    OK, I found the problem. (less)

    I think this problem is the file system of the old machine.

    The old machine's file system is reiserfs. I have not found any note on the problems with reiserfs, but this is my conclusion, given that all the tests I did.

    This old machine had an NFS volume on a backup server, so I changed to this volume export dump file. Then I transferred the file via scp on the new computer, as I did before.

    Now import worked well. !

    I repeated the steps by changing the backup file to export to back reiserfs volume, only to ensure that I did not make other changes, scp the new machine, and failed to import. So, no doubt. It seems that reiserfs causes a kind of corruption of dump files when they are copied to another file system (but it's weird, because I run md5sum on the two file systems and the result is the same)

    I would like to do another test. So I'll write here the results to confirm and help other people with the same problem.

    Thank you all.

    I created all the data of the same files as the old database. so when importing all users will be created

    In my first test I didn't create all the users before importing, just give this command all users imported without any errors.

    Assuming that 'data files' mean 'spaces', are you sure that all the storage spaces have been created (including temporary)?

    I did the same thing to dozens of times (not with a version so old, I must say), and I got these errors when some tablespace has not been created.

  • A question about the CREATE DATABASE LINK PUBLIC and ORA-12154 error

    Hi all

    I have a problem on the public database link creation and I would be grateful if you could kindly give me a helping hand. I have the following connection settings in my
    tnsnames.ora file:
    ...
    DGPAPROD.WORLD =
         (DESCRIPTION =
           (ADDRESS_LIST =
            (ADDRESS = (COMMUNITY=tcp.world)
              (PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=ORASR001)(PORT=1521)
             )
           )
           (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = DGPAPROD))
        )
    ...
    Having the above mentioned parameters, I can connect to this remote database directly in a SQL * more shell:
    $ sqlplus username/[email protected]
    It works pretty well and the connection is established without any problem.

    Now, what I want to do is to create a public database of this remote database link to avoid the user/connection of switch for the visualization of the
    the content of this database. I proceeded in line with the syntax indicated in the Oracle online documentation:

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_5005.htm#SQLRF01205

    This is why I run the following to create a public database link
    CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK SR001_dblink CONNECT TO user IDENTIFIED BY password USING 'DGPAPROD.WORLD';
    Apparently there is no error and the link is created successfully. However, it cannot resolve the remote host and every time I run this query
    (myenterprise is the name of a table in the remote database)
    SELECT *
    FROM myenterprise@SR001_dblink

    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
    What causes this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards
    Dariyoosh

    You must have defined DGPAPROD. WORLD in tnsnames.oar on the server where DB is runnig.
