  It's not Adobe, instead essentially a user to user forum. I saw the first 14 supported Import Formats of video clips list. My first impression is as follows. DV-stream (.dv) here does not refer to the ability of Premiere Elements to capture DV data using a firewire connection in Premiere Elements.

  It is my understanding that the raw DV via firewire can be stored in a file with a .dv file extension. You also have these same raw DV data via firewire can be stored in container (Windows) .avi or .mov (Mac). I'd say that Adobe 'Dv-stream (.dv)' refers to the import of a file DV.dv in a Premiere Elements project with add Media/files and folders.

  However, this interpretation reveals a problem because if I take a known Dv.dv file and try to import in first items 14, 13/13.1 on Windows 10 or 7 64-bit, it will not matter and gives the message saying that the file type is not supported or the codec is missing. This same DV.dv reproduces with the VLC Player.

  The frequency of the presence of Adobe in this forum is not defined. But, perhaps personal Adobe or Premiere elements support Team can clarify the inclusion of 'DV-stream (.dv) in its list of supported import Formats. There is certainly no more DV HDV data capture firewire premiere elements Capture window elements first 13/13.1 and 14.

• Import jpg color problem

  I am importing jpg files in FCP7 and color moves (loss of cast red/green)

  They look perfect in the Finder, but Import FCP color changing radically (almost as if its been would be CMYK).

  They were taken out of the PS in the form of Adobe RGB files.

  I made files. No difference.

  I tried to juggle the Gamma setting in Prefs. No difference.

  I'm not aware of 'walk' any generic color output in FCP it would cause.

  I can't seem to find all the messages describing this problem or difficulty, advice very so gratefully received! Thanks in advance.

• Import photos no problem can not see the photos on iPhone

  I upgraded my MacBook Pro to El Capitan.  Since moving from iPhoto to Photos (even before I updated the operating system) when I plug my iPhone 5 to import pictures in the selected library I do not see the photos appear in the import window so that I can select for imports.  I literally had to email it to myself, and then import it into the e-mail.  I work with different libraries within pictures, so I excluded it only love the library system.  Same result, can not see the photos.  Also, I have unplugged and replugged in and tried the other USB port to rule out hardware, while the Photos could force them to see the device as new, and that does not work either.  I tried something another user who had to open Image Capture to see if she could see all the pictures on my phone and it doesn't work, I found (theory was that opening would make Photos recognize as well).  However the Image Capture wouldn't add a USB scanner so I think it's not worthy of trust.  Photos only setting I have enabled is the automatic update to iCloud.  Otherwise, I don't know what another parameter to seek that could block it.

  When the phone is connected USB the phone reboot - many have found this will clear this problem

  I have psd file import problem. 1: I don't see most of the items on the window pop up.

  You're on a retina display?  Try to remove or pixelation of text layers. other people have reported that the bug has been corrected on their end.

  The same bug is discussed in this thread the Advanced Options to facilitate import dialog is not visible (OS X 10.11) and Adobe staff is aware and looking inside.

  They are all of a special form of .mov

  Can I play in VLC Media Player (but not Quicktime or WMP) so I know that a pc can handle the...

  When I import in CS6, I get a Codec missing or not available errorsaying...

  They are certainly AIC files (not exports)... and I answered my own question... FINALLY! lol, it's called "Any Video Converter"

• Imported video quality problems

  I use 6 Captivate and having problems with the video quality in the published SWF file produced. I inserted the 4 different slides synchronized MP4 videos to the different slides that are a progressive download. I publish the SWF project. The Captivate native content (quizzes and interactions) looks good, but the quality of the videos that I imported is reduced by up to 50% and is unusable. When I open the published project file and open just the MP4 videos, the quality is perfect.

  I tried the publication as HTML5, but my interactions don't work well with that - if this isn't an option. However, the video quality is perfect in HTML5.

  Does anyone know how to keep the quality of video imported into the published SWF file?

  I did everything you said I should do and I was able to get a good project. I'm on 6.0.1240. I got the Advanced Compression of verified project. (The other options I was doing already).

  One thing that I wrote for someone else who is having this problem:

  If I play the produced swf file published in google chrome, the quality is superb.

  If I play the produced swf file published in firefox, the quality is reduced by about 50% and my quiz slides will freeze and sometimes does not.

  If I play the produced swf file published in Explorer that the quality is reduced by about 50%

  HTML5 versions do not work in one of the above browsers because the interaction between the tabs and the interaction of hidden words are not compatible. The tabs will load not correctly on the screen and the wordserach omits the checkboxes on the search for a Word.

• Import with lightroom problems 5

  Suddenly, I have a problem importing photos from my camera in Lightroom 5.  The message I get, says file cannot be read.  I even tried another device to make sure that it wasn't my camera and got the same result.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have a mac.

  The problem has been resolved.  Looks like a setting has been changed and photos were sent to the wrong file when you try to import.  I think that the library.  Has been changed to the desktop.  Simple fix to a frustrating problem.

  I try to import .aiff (22,050 24 bit) in the casting director and Director (12) crashes when imported. I was initially an import batch, but I'm now import one at a time - a couple were imported, but I'll have to force Director quit and try to re - import several times before that I can import a file. Has anyone else had problems to import its under Director 12?

  Hi all

  I need to import a word document into indesign cs3 it's 150 pages of time so I need to see if I can fix this problem automatically.

  the document is a series of interviews, so he's followed by issue of response etc.

  questions are in bold in word but not characters in shape somehow. they just used the bold button. [screegrab of the word below]

  I created a paragraph style in indesign, called 'question' that applies color, bold and one space after the adjustment.

  I want to apply the style to each question, but by clicking on each issue in indesign and using my short comand key to apply it would be torture.

  I must thank Bob Levine to help me take a look to find/replace a little closer.

  in InDesign, you need to click your text box, and then choose file > place and place your Word copy.

  then choose Edition > find/replace in the first text tab down is to find and Format change.

  Find the Format you choose, in my case, at the time and "BOLD".

  Change of Format, where you choose your style of paragraph or character, in my case, 'issues '.

  then just hit everything change.

  I had a bit of a kick to look on the net but I see not expensive plug-ins for this problem.

  I need to import a word document into indesign cs3 which is 150 pages, so I need to see if indesign can automatically create as many pages as necessary during import.

  the only way I know right now is to click on the small box at the bottom right of a text box [which is more red for some reason any] where I stuck all copy, which loads the overflow to the cursor and then navigate to a new page and click in the empty text box [with an Apple + shift key to unlock it from the masterpage] so that the overflow text enters that area and then repeat, repeat, repeat, etc.

  given this is the first time in 9 years or so to use indesign it's a problem for me I don't want to spend $79 and reduce a gain already small.

• Import of word problems

  Hi guys,.

  I got a text from Microsoft Word in file type .doc who changes the active control. I thought it was the problem of import it into Indesign CS4, but after stopping control changes the problem persists. The import of text prove to be an empty text box. If I decide to disable styles when importing I see it, but it's not the idea, because the original text was already throughout the body of the text, the heading Style, and the features I need.

  Any help or ideas? BTW, the text is in the .doc file type (I know that ID CS4 can not read the .docx types).

  Well, that's a very broad, very empty column you have there.

  I have no idea why Word files are correct placement, but we're not. I've never had anything drop a Word .doc-.rtf conversion >; even things like a WordArt object and the complex tables survive .rtf conversion. The only thing I can think is that maybe there is something in the Word styles on them selfs to InDesign, but who is broken or removed by conversion .rtf. The reason why I have this assumption is that you said that your Word files are style with care, but the TEST.doc you posted, everything has the Normal style.

  But it's all speculation for me, at this point. I don't know what is happening in your InDesign document.

  I'm moving my request between two environments using export/import standard APEX process. Unforutnatelly I am facing a very strange problem - after import application, this is a very unusual way, for example:
  -on some pages, there's cut of html tags (< / HTML instead of < / HTML > at the end of the source).
  -some definitions of the region are also cut, not only at the end but also inside (FM instead OF, usually mistakes in the names of syntax, tables and columns)
  
  What is more interesting, when I change this errors and save the report, it does not record correctly as well. I have new errors and then in other places.
  
  But not only the letters are missing. Sometimes never table column attributes in the attributes report APEX poster tab errors (some inserted rows against each other, empty, alias or topics etc.).
  
  Only imported applications act in this way. Application exported and imported to the works of the same environment very well. I use APEX 3.0 with Oracle 10 g EE 10.2.0.1.0.

• iMovie update problem

  I have day at el capitan and imovie lost. I have an older version in the back upward, but I wanted the advantage of imovie 10. So now I'm trying to get it via the app store.

  When I hit the install button, I get the info: iMovie status is "up to date".

  When I click on update, the update process starts and ends of nevers.

  No idea how to get imovie 10?

  You find out the Mavericks in El Capitan? It is likely that your old iMovie is old to be upgraded. Version 9.0.x update free of charge but older versions, you need to buy. Connect on app store and buying iMovie.

  I can import fine in iPhotos app but do not know why I can not download pictures from iPhone/Pad on my Mac Book. Have not been able to do for a while now...
