Import of 3 third-party plug-ins in CS5

Coming from CS3, I tried drag and drop but no joy.
How can I get my plug-ins/filters is over - or should I continue to use CS3 if I want to use?

It has been some time and I don't know I have even the original installers or not - should be a real hunting around to find them if I did.  Some don't matter if I lose, while many are often used.  It * must * be a simple drag and drop, migrate or import function for this - where is it?

Check the plug manufacturers for updates. Many have updated their specifically for CS5 and 64-bit fact. Old plugins, I would like to reinstall for CS5 and you need to run 32-bit use. Advice in the doc below:

  • Photoshop 5.5 2015 lost all my third-party plug-ins

    I just upgraded to photoshop, I hoped that it would fix the problem that I have that sometimes after editing photos just turn black or white. They show very well in the layers palette, they look good when I save and reopen, but I can't change them more when they are simply black or white. I thought that my graphics card was going to, but I read the other had the same problem. It happened particularly after using the effects of Nik Collection HDR pro.

    So after the upgrade, I find that my shortcut in the dock (MAC OS 10.11.4) does not work, no problem not to make a new shortcut (but I never had to do this before)

    NOW I SEE ALL MY THIRD-PARTY PLUG-INS ARE GONE!   It's going to take all day download and installation and looking for set numbers. !!!

    WHY?  Upgrades before always remind my plug-ins!

    Well, I fixed it, I found the old folder photoshop 2015 in my Applications folder, I copied the plugins to the new folder. Restart photoshop and it worked.

    But GE a little warning that I should have done that would have been nice!

  • Add a menu entry to "any third party Plug-Ins..." »

    I'll try to find the independent identifier of the language for the "all third-party Plug-ins..." "menu in the Help menu but I can't seem to find. Can someone help me find the identifier so that I can add my plugin on the menu for her to enter? Here is the code that I currently use, and I understand that I need to modify it slightly to add it to the submenu:

    AVMenu HelpMenu = NULL;

    AVMenuItem AboutItem = NULL;
    AVMenubar TheMenubar = AVAppGetMenubar ();
    ExecProcPtr = ASCallbackCreateProto (AVExecuteProc, &ExecProc);
    CompEnabledProcPtr = ASCallbackCreateProto (AVComputeEnabledProc,
         &ComputeEnabledProc);
    CompMarkedProcPtr = ASCallbackCreateProto (AVComputeMarkedProc,
         &ComputeMarkedProc);
    HelpMenu = AVMenubarAcquireMenuByName (TheMenubar, "Help");
    if (HelpMenu) {
         AboutItem = AVMenuItemNew ("About S4i Express Annotate Plugin", "ABDE:S4IXPAPExpressAnnotate", NULL,
         false, NO_SHORTCUT, 0, NULL, gExtensionID);

         if (AboutItem == NULL) {
         AVAlertNote ("Unable to create Express Menu Item, not loading.");
         return false;

         }

         AVMenuItemSetExecuteProc (AboutItem, ExecProcPtr, NULL);

         AVMenuItemSetComputeEnabledProc (AboutItem,

              CompEnabledProcPtr,NULL);
         AVMenuItemSetComputeMarkedProc (AboutItem,
              CompMarkedProcPtr,NULL);
         AVMenuAddMenuItem (HelpMenu, AboutItem, 1);

         AVMenuRelease (HelpMenu);

    }

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Use the Plugin Wizard to create for you...

    However, I see a MAJOR PROBLEM with the code you have posted.

    You are using extension developer of Adobe ("ABDE:S4IXPAPExpressAnnotate") and NOT your own.  You must save your own extension and use it for your tampon().

  • Failure of third-party plug-in

    Hello, I'm not sure if I ask this question in the right category, the site somewhat difficult to manuver autour so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section.

    On my problem, I tried to install an old plug-in which was compatible with older versions of Photoshop on CS5. The plug-in said installed successfully, but then I was unable to open Photoshop at all. I uninstalled the plugin, but now Photoshop will not always be open. Is there anything I can do to fix this WITHOUT reinstalling CS5?

  • 3rd party Plug - ins

    I have CS6 installed with NIK plug-ins and "Topaz", IF I buy a pass CC will I need to install the plug ins for the app as well CC?

    Creative cloud is just the subscription model, applications and their features rest the way that it used to be. Just the features will be updated. So, as PS CS6, PS CC will also be installed with 3rd party plugins.

  • Get any 3rd party plug-ins audio to work with the latest version of PP

    Hi, I posted to this topic before, but still need help.  When I updated to Adobe Premiere Pro 2015.3 CC (from the previous version of PP), all my plug-ins audio disappeared.  When I tried to reload it in PP, I get this message after that it seems to load all plug-ins, and then none of them loaded.  I'm certainly not the only one who had this problem?  Someone suggested repair permissions on my boot drive, I did, and I still get this error in PP.  Literally, I can't do any video work until I have my audio plug-ins back.  If anyone on this forum can help me, contact Adobe directly?  Also, I'm on a Mac Pro (4.1) running Mac OS 10.10.5.

    Thank you!

    Nicholas

  • for the 3rd party plug-ins access problem in CS4 Extended, (need help!)

    I downloaded recently, successfully, in my new copy of PhotoShop CS4 Extended 11.0 version. I then updated the program to version 11.0.1. I was (and am still), using my Photoshop Elements 7.0 and have been very successful download and access to my OnOne Software plug-in, Genuine Fractals 6.0 and FocalPoint 2.0 as well as some filters from NIK Software.

    So I was excited to start using CS4 Extended and the first thing I did after the download and update was to load my FocalPoint 2. plugin. Now, I had spent literally 20 hours in total over a period of 2 consecutive days trying every variation I could think to place the Plugin, (one of them), in the program of CS4 so that I can access and open them at will. But I can't do them appears in the section "Controller" in the drop-down list of menu files. They also do NOT appear under "Plug-ins" in the drop-down Help Menu.

    As I said earlier, I have no problem with their use in my Photoshop Elements 7 and I just got a reply from Support Adobe technique that said that these Plugins will certainly work in CS4 Extended. But they also felt that the problem must be addressed by the manufacturers of Pugin. I'll try to contact them as well, but I don't expect much because this view is inconsistent with the fact that these same Plugins work fine on the PSE 7.

    I have an AMD Phenom X 4 2.0 GHz with 8 GB of Ram and an ATI Radeon 4600 all in my desktop HP Pavilion p6230f PC. My operating system is Windows 7.0 Edition Home Premium 64-bit.

    I won't bore anyone with the details of what I've tried so far because someone out there perhaps had the same problem and knows what to do. So if there are people out there who can help, I'd be very happy. Rich56

    If plugins do not appear in the 64-bit application, they are not written probably for 64 bit.

    The 32-bit application (which is installed with the 64-bit application) to access these plugins.

    And check with the manufacturer of plugin for updates.

  • CS5 plug-ins for CS5.5?

    Hello

    I want to ask if all the plug-ins (64-bit) that I have in my After Effects CS5 will still work in After Effects CS5.5 or I have to upgrade as well?

    Thanks in advance

    Yes, the plug-ins written for After Effects CS5 will work with After Effects CS5.5. No need to upgrade. The reason that this should happen for CS5 was the port to 64-bit.

  • Third party plugs to THE VST appear not

    It is the official CS5.5 Mac version.  They present themselves and worked well in Audition Mac Beta.

    Specifically, I have PSP Vintage Warmer and WaveArts Masterverb and card track.  They do appear and work in MOTU Digital Performer, Final Cut Pro and SoundTrack Pro.

    This is my first post here.  I'm looking forward to using Audition in my post workflow.

    Thank you!

    Jim Curtis

    Did you find the directory for them and re-read? If you do not do this, hearing won't find them.

    I want to print more pictures on a single page and downloaded the plug-in for this function of Adobe.  I opened the zip file, but can't find a .exe command in order to download the plugin in my CS5 software.  What I find are .txt and .8B files.  Any suggestions?

  • Manufacture of plug-ins in CS5 - recommended icons

    Hello Photoshoppers:

    I don't very often get called to do the application icons, but I must now and my DIY efforts are pathetic. My picture looks a lot like a PSD, but what I save on (as files 48 x 48, 32 x 32 and 16 x 16 .ico) does not keep transparency and looks hideous.

    Can we recommended a good plug-in for Photoshop CS5 for Windows XP or Windows 7 icons? My only old produced research and results only Mac, which makes me wonder if it is maybe built not something that I can understand everything.

    Thanks for your suggestions Anna

  • How do I change the plug-ins in CS5 RAW format so that it works with my Canon EOS700D?

    I downloaded and installed version 7.4 of DNG but CS5 always displays a previous version.  Just to be safe, I opened CS5 as a Director and I did when installing 7.4 DNG, but CS5 still shows an older version (6.7.1.340).

    That's right and to be expected. RAW support is specific to the different versions of the PS as new cameras are avialable. If you want to open your files directly in PS, you have CS6 or CC, otehrwise the standalone DNG Converter will be sufficient.

    How to install the pixel bender plugin in windows 7 cs5 provide in the order... How to install as an administator... like I'm the only one account on a laptop... no net group, home group, etc.. I've spent hours trying in vain to get on my Windows 7 64-bit professional version. I get a message "you must have administrator / be an administrator"... When I check my diary says it: I am an administrator... Of course, my problem is the OPERATOR. I have checked/google and many other people have the same problem... but the solution is still affirmed as an admintrator do? I have the 64-bit file in my DOWNLOADS, but cannot be in PS CS5 filters. Thanks in advance.

    Find the extension manager cs5 in the start menu > all programs list, right-click on the plugin Manager shortcut and choose Run as administrator.

    Then the extension manager, click on install and navigate to the file bender.mxp pixel.
