• Import parameters of IR private to another Application

  Hello community!

  I know, it's a topic that has often been discussed, and solutions where all pretty informal (not supported) or is not possible at all. However, what I found was a bit older, and I wonder if APEX is after the quick update now a solution to this.

  The question is, I'm not upgrading or import an application (as described in this blog by Joel Kallman).

  We have a very extended application with more than 100 interactive reports many of which have private user settings. These pages must be transferred into a new application - individually, not as a hole.

  Now, there are several ways to copy a page I've tried, but no copy along private IR settings. I also tried to manipulate the sql for an individual page export file, and the big shock has happened: while trying to import into another application, I damaged the original page. So I had to remove this and install a copy of the page - having lost completely private IR parameters (they are still there in a backup, but I can't bring back them to the original page) Unfortunately it has happened in the production environment, so now I'm a little desperate.

  I hope you can help me with this dilemma: 1) restore the settings that I lost and 2nd) which suggests a way to the original question: including the darn things in print.

  I looked through the apex dictionary views, and I know that this is very much related to the different internal ID - that I've messed around with. The data are there, but how do I get this running back?

  I deleted the old page to import only the individual production test page (the first step in his approach). But when I try to import page of the script, I get a unique constraint violation error:

  A big thanks to purpose thread , I did to work!

  I adopted his script and added additional code, so that private IR settings may actually be coppied to another page in another application, preassuning has already been copied it to the same IR (via the copy of the page or the import of the page).

  Procedure is the folloing:

  (1) start the procedure. -(To this end, I have created a temporary clob field table)

  Again, as Arnoud has also stressed: it is necessary to test in your own environment and use it at your own risk!

  Hi all

  I use lightroom for several years now and have been using the function to import without a lot of questions. I have a Canon D70. Before 2015 CC Lichtroom develop settings only change a little in the settings of contrast and sharpness.

  But I see now that changing the setting of development with all the imported files to automate the development parameters. Which is the last thing I want?

  Even when I do a reset of the parameters of development, it will reset to automatic development parameters, so the only way to circumvent this resets each photo by hand?

  I did a reset of all development import preferences in the Lightroom settings window, but still it will just change the parameters of development still. Attached is a sample of my parameters of development directly after import

  

  I have no idea how it was settled, some other then update to Lightroom CC 2015.

  My main question is how I can get rid of this defect, as I will have soon a photo shoot where I will have to take hundreds of images and of course don't want to go through all the images by hand to reset all settings.

  Establishing new Adobe CC and too hastily clicked 'no' questioned the import of settings from the last version. How can I do this retroactively?

  Reset the application preferences.

  Windows:

  -> Adobe application to quit.

  -> Press Shift + Ctrl + Alt immediately after the launch of the app again.

  -> When you are prompted to reset the preferences. Click YES.

  -> Adobe application to quit.

  Access the Site > Manage Sites > export your settings (files .ste) site of CS3, then save them in a good place.   Close the CS3.

  Open CS6.  Access the Site > Manage Sites > Import...

• If Lightroom import parameters of the disc or replace the disc of the catalog settings

  When the 'up' arrow key appears in a thumbnail and comes up with the message:

  The metadata for one or more of these photos has been changed by another application. Lightroom import settings from disk or replace drive with the catalog settings?

  What exactly means?  This seems to happen every time I have to export an image in PS (CS5) and back to LR.  What has changed exactly?  Which settings are imported if I choose "import settings from disk."

  I think it would be best to not think in terms of what LR 'applies' changes. Because LR stores the changes made in the catalog, the changes are "applied" to the image on export. I think that it would be preferable to use the term 'view' instead of 'apply '.

  Then: when LR, you open a RAW image in PS the LR-changes made until then are displayed in PS and then "apply" when you save a PS (don't forget PS CS5 opens the RAW image).

  If you do more edits in PS and save these, LR will display these changes - you will then notice on back of the PS, LR will be re - load the image. On 'Save' PS applies (and here the term 'applicable' is correct) the changes by writing them in the image file. LR reads the saved file and displays it with PS-changes.

  But the LR catalog settings are still in the State of the point in time before you open the image in PS. It is so because PS writes the changes to the image file and not in the LR catalog. So now you have a set of changes in the LR catalog and another set of changes in the image file.

  To describe it as ' a little 'too top' with the PS applied, changes but it really has not applied the "isn't making the case because LR 'applies' only to export. LR doing at this stage is read the image with PS-changes file and display the image accordingly.

  But LR "feels" that what is displayed is not what is in the catalog online.

  This is the conflict that Lr wants to solve by popping the message.

  You say "if so, then you really would like to import settings from disk so that the file will be PS changes, right?  "

  Yes, if you wish that your changes-PS to replace your previous changes LR.

  Now, I came to where I do not fixtures in PS that I can do in LR - and I do not fixtures in LR that PS is preferable to a workflow.

  In practice: in PS, I do the cloning and also noise reduction when the LR - NR is not enough (for example in the noisy analyses).

  I don't do any tonal or color adjustments to the PS because it is easier in Lr and gives me better results.

  When the message appears, select 'Replace disk settings' - it keeps all Lr changes and does not overwrite the cloning.

• The parameters are not sync between CC AI and AI CC 2014

  I can't get AI AI CC 2014 CC sync settings. I am able to sync settings HAVE CC and supposedly they are available in the cloud, but when I open AI CC 2014 workspaces and keyboard shortcuts are not available for me to choose. Having the same problem in CC ID and ID CC 2014 as well. I was finally able to get PS CC 2014 to load my settings, but I'm not entirely sure why those decided to appear. Anyone else having this problem and have a solution to fix?

  I am running Windows 7 SP 1, 64 with IE 11 x and have kept all current Windows updates, since I bought my Dell laptop 4 years ago. Updates are still installed and I did have problems with updates failed, etc. I also keep the antivirus updated and scan 5 times a week.

  Yesterday, the following appeared in my list of updates of 'Important '; KB947821 update [October 2014] system tool.

  Why something dated a year ago suddenly appear as a 'new' update? More so that I keep all the updates, updated! It really gives me a bad feeling, and I'm afraid to install it before you know whether it is legitimate or not. Of course, I may very well just be paranoid, but would rather be safe than sorry!

  It is safe to install because it was offered hollow a Windows Update.

  If you have any changes that may have evolved this update of your system, make it install it again, or it may have an update update. If you do not have to worry about this.

  We have a planning application which is EPMA and we have implemented of scripts to automate the loading of files of ADS using EPMA Batch client. WEA re do this as part of our 11.1.2.2 migration towards 11.1.2.3

  11.1.2.2, we have all the components of EPMA installed on a server but 11.1.2.3 we EPMA distributed on 2 servers services

  EPMA, planning installed in PRDPLN001 and we see lot-client installed in PRDFND001 where most of the Services of the Foundation is installed

  We have scripts in PRDFND001 server and we get the below error

  I've done below to solve the problem

  As the EPMABatch was not able to identify the location/path of the file ADS. I gave a CD command to go to the inboundfiles directory and called the EPMABatch directly from there, giving the file name directly. This time the file got loaded without any problems

  Not sure why it is not able to identify / detect the full path of the file. It worked very well in 11.1.2.2 version though. He had to dig to find the reason for the question

  Hello

  as suggested by @BeauDReynolds you can replace the quotes before importing the file.

  If you want to use scripts to import for each dimension (is not necessary for the amount in your case), you can use this script:

  def parseDoubleQuotes (strField, strRecord):

  #strip quotes

  return strField.strip('"')

  the tape will remove initial and end of double quotes

  You function should work as well, but you must ensure that both matches name function name and script.

  You function name is fRemoveQuotes while your script is quotes.

  Rename each function in quotes def or a script for fRemoveQuotes.py
