  Is there a way to activate parameters of development works / stop?

• Importing Photos - undesirable color change

  I am a competent enough free self-taught user of the CS6. When I encountered a problem I canusually source, in a text, or on Lynda.com.

  Something began to happen recently that I can't explain or remedy.

  When I import a picture, it changes color. The red component becomes highly saturated, and greatly increases the saturation of all colors.

  I do usually adjustments using the adjustment "Hue and saturation" tool, closely matching the original photo, but they are only approached. the two most commonly made adjsutemtns are decreases the saturation and move the blue red component.

  This happens regardless of the source. It can be a photo imported CS6 on the web, or a camera. or even a photo stored on my hard drive.

  I'm open to suggestions, even if he is to restore the default setting... This gets really annoying

  Take a look at the color profile. If the image was saying of a raw image that the profile has been set at prorgb and you saved as a jpg file and it displayed in a browser that does not support profiles, the color will move. Anything on the web should supposed to be SRGB. Get a picture of someone else, might use a different profile. Normally when the file is loaded, it will ask you what to do when they do not match your current settings. But in preferences, I think that it is possible to disable this warning.

  Probably, you set a default value for the camera. Go to preferences-> Presets and reset all camera default settings.

  I know, it's a topic that has often been discussed, and solutions where all pretty informal (not supported) or is not possible at all. However, what I found was a bit older, and I wonder if APEX is after the quick update now a solution to this.

  The question is, I'm not upgrading or import an application (as described in this blog by Joel Kallman).

  We have a very extended application with more than 100 interactive reports many of which have private user settings. These pages must be transferred into a new application - individually, not as a hole.

  Now, there are several ways to copy a page I've tried, but no copy along private IR settings. I also tried to manipulate the sql for an individual page export file, and the big shock has happened: while trying to import into another application, I damaged the original page. So I had to remove this and install a copy of the page - having lost completely private IR parameters (they are still there in a backup, but I can't bring back them to the original page) Unfortunately it has happened in the production environment, so now I'm a little desperate.

  I hope you can help me with this dilemma: 1) restore the settings that I lost and 2nd) which suggests a way to the original question: including the darn things in print.

  I looked through the apex dictionary views, and I know that this is very much related to the different internal ID - that I've messed around with. The data are there, but how do I get this running back?

  I adopted his script and added additional code, so that private IR settings may actually be coppied to another page in another application, preassuning has already been copied it to the same IR (via the copy of the page or the import of the page).

  Procedure is the folloing:

• Import with presets developed vs developing vs Export

  Setting: Scientific Specimen imaging, using Lightroom to convert and normalize the types of images. All images are produced in a photobox, so are virtually the same as the actual sample.  The final products are jpeg and DNG images uploaded to a database.

  The camera raw image files we 'Import' means the images to Lightroom with "metadata" and "Develop" presets activated, which gives DNG files for each image.  There is white balance, sharpness and the color correction preset hysteresis in the "develop" used for import, we do no further manipulation of the image in LR.

  The fundamental Question is: are the DNG files from the 'import' final, usable, DNG of generated images, or these can be 'developed' or 'exported' to get the latest DNG?  Experimentally, we tried to do the 'export' and exported DNG files are exactly (byte) of the same size as the ones we have generated when they were imported.

  The question is we do something else that wasting time when we do the 'export' to give a second series of DNG files?

  Update: we did some tests and we found out, is that if you use the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop" the generated DNG file has modifications in the develop preset applied to the image in the DNG file.

  Our experience: starting with 2 identical copies of the same RAW image, we did import with copy DNG twice - once with our development presets applied and the other without the develop presets.  We then exported the each image as a DNG, which gives an "only import" and a version "exported" of each image.  We then compared the 4 images (on another computer without LR), it is clear that there is no difference between the DNG format generated via "Import with copy DNG with presets to the point" and the images after export.

  Thus, it is our conclusion that there is nothing to gain from the export to DNG that were generated images by using the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop."

  Note: We use LightRoom CC 2015.3 Release, Camera Raw 9.3

  I had this same problem today. Very frustrating. I finally tried chat Adobe (which doesn't work) and ends up calling them. That's what technology has done to address the problem. (I use an iMac running OS 10.9.3).

  In the finder, he went in the Go menu and choose "go to folder...". "He typed in the window" ~ / Library. This is a hidden folder, so you need to navigate to it this way.

  Inside the library folder, he went to preferences > Adobe Illustrator 17 parameters > en_US and all selected in this folder. I copied and pasted and then in 18 Adobe Illustrator settings > file en_US. I hit to "Replace" the files and checked the box 'apply to all '.

• If Lightroom import parameters of the disc or replace the disc of the catalog settings

  What exactly means?  This seems to happen every time I have to export an image in PS (CS5) and back to LR.  What has changed exactly?  Which settings are imported if I choose "import settings from disk."

  I think it would be best to not think in terms of what LR 'applies' changes. Because LR stores the changes made in the catalog, the changes are "applied" to the image on export. I think that it would be preferable to use the term 'view' instead of 'apply '.

  Then: when LR, you open a RAW image in PS the LR-changes made until then are displayed in PS and then "apply" when you save a PS (don't forget PS CS5 opens the RAW image).

  If you do more edits in PS and save these, LR will display these changes - you will then notice on back of the PS, LR will be re - load the image. On 'Save' PS applies (and here the term 'applicable' is correct) the changes by writing them in the image file. LR reads the saved file and displays it with PS-changes.

  But the LR catalog settings are still in the State of the point in time before you open the image in PS. It is so because PS writes the changes to the image file and not in the LR catalog. So now you have a set of changes in the LR catalog and another set of changes in the image file.

  To describe it as ' a little 'too top' with the PS applied, changes but it really has not applied the "isn't making the case because LR 'applies' only to export. LR doing at this stage is read the image with PS-changes file and display the image accordingly.

  But LR "feels" that what is displayed is not what is in the catalog online.

  This is the conflict that Lr wants to solve by popping the message.

  Now, I came to where I do not fixtures in PS that I can do in LR - and I do not fixtures in LR that PS is preferable to a workflow.

  I don't do any tonal or color adjustments to the PS because it is easier in Lr and gives me better results.

  When the message appears, select 'Replace disk settings' - it keeps all Lr changes and does not overwrite the cloning.

  My LR3 installation running on Win 7 64 and is an upgrade to 2.7 LR.

  On the first day when I started to import new photoes of LR3 images comes with an automatic clearity of 50 and a 'vignetting after cropping' priority to highlight and these settings: amount-72, point median 45, roundness-6, 50 pen, highlights 5

  .. .even though I been verified 'none' on development during the import settings.

  I found a work around to define my own 'import std' where I put those values to 0, but I hate the feeling of not knowing what is happening...

  It seems that if you have saved new values by default when you were an active tile on the image.  Simply all your settings define the way you want and save the new default settings.

  On the restore settings dialog is a button that allows you to restore the default settings of Adobe and another for updating the current settings.  It is your choice what to do.

• Video import seems to have changed and become Restrictive

  I am running Adobe Captivate 9.0.1.320.

  I know I've done in the past, but there is a new notification when I try to import the video (multi synchronized slides) in my project. My project is a standard (white) who appear in HTML5. I want to import the MP4 video in the project.

  

  Captivate wants to convert to FLV first, what would be nice if the conversion to FLV and finally back to MP4 when published has not totally destroy the quality, increase the size and add black bars above and below the image. Someone knows a way to continue to import this MP4 as a MP4? There is a new setting, preferably, of that I'm not aware?

  I saw another couple of articles on this issue, but no resolution, so I thought I'd post a fresh investigation.

  Some tools may allow you to encode with an incompatible CODEC, where the file can be stored in MP4 but actually be encoded in a different format.

  Your best bet is perhaps back to the source and rebuild the MP4 or ask for a replacement of the damaged copy.
