• When you import WMV files, I only get the first seconds of my film.

  I'm doing a correction of color on a wedding video.  The video was captured using Windows movie capture software and saved to a WMV file.

  What version of AE and with what parameters of compression were they captured? Flow premature endings usually points to the VBR encoding, which AE does not particularly like. From Movie Maker files can also contain data specific to the program as the edit markers, which could also be misinterpreted by AE. Check things and maybe try different settings.   Another possibility is that Movie Maker is just having trouble viewing clip Webinar.  Webinar clips using a different compression standard since they do not have a lot of changing information.  In addition, your screenshot, it is clear that the clip is in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, then maybe when Movie Maker it resizes to the preview, it causes content to blurs.  This is highly visible when you have the text slides where there are many small details.

  As noted by J of volunteer work, you can try to convert and combine clips using Freemake Video Converter.  That could help.  In addition, you never said if you saw this blur in the preview, in the final movie, or both.  If the problem is in the preview, you could ignore it, especially if the video arrived at the final is very good.

  have beeen fighting with movie maker to convert a project file to a wmv. have followed all the steps of "save computer" but instead to save only "minutes remaining" constantly climbing (in thousands) no save. used wmv files to create project but am worker with a very grumpy xp operating system and does not operate. my last idea is to drag the file from the drop-down list and ask someone to convert it for me using a newer version of MM without my problem and then fall back. is this possible? Notice to lovers? This is a video of 2 minutes for my dad's birthday.

  In Movie Maker... go... Tools / Options / Compatibility
  tab and disable all filters / OK.

  Try once more to save... also try to save in the. DV - AVI
  format as follows:

  XP Windows Movie Maker 2.1...
  To save a DV - AVI movie file...
  (and other options)
  Type of... CTRL + P (or go to...) File / save movie file)

  Enter a name and a location.

  All attachments add about 33% size thanks to the encoding. This makes your 31MB file around 41 ~ 42 MB. I doubt that your ISP/mail server allows something that big, and of course, I would not be the recipient of a message that size.

  Create a YouTube account and put it there. You can make public or private and provide the link to the recipient.

• Windows media player plays is not the wmv files

  I installed a new version of AMD Catalyst Software Suite V 12.2.00 08/03/11 and immediately pinned the problem of not being able to run the MWV Media Player files.  The media player will turn green and the audio works well.  I guess that my old (2008) Dell Studio 540 Intel Core Quad 2.66 Hz machine is too slow for all graphical applications included in the CCC again.  I uninstalled the entire update and installed the driver more AMD V 8.950.0.0.  Rebooted and tried to execute a file on Media Player WMV.  The same problem.  I went back to a restore point, until the day before the installation of the new version of the Suite software Catalyst.  Then I rolled back to the previous driver V 8.920.0.0.  Does not solve the problem.

  I finally ended up at this place where someone posted the same problem.  I went if the three methods that have been listed.

  Result: Nothing useful there.

  Method 2: Re-save the file and check, it is that it works.

  After you apply the improvement kb2834904 kb2803821 Windows 7 or XP, WMV files imported into Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Elements, or After Effects look damaged on the screen. For example, they appear as a video half frame on import.

  Similarly, videos exported out of these products as WMV files appear corrupt.

  I have in fact you have a waste of time and managed to put it together. There are a lot of comments to help explain what does what. You will need to change a few things for your use.

  Line 9 # will need the path to your preset file.

  Line 12 # will have the name of your preset OutputModule. It is case sensitive.

  Line 31 # can be changed if you want that different file extensions. Right now he's looking for more specifically '.wmv' or '. '. WMV channels"in the name of the file.

  Lately, when I import a file WMV in Adobe Premiere Pro (version CS3), half top of the video file is completely black.  This happens immediately after the video file in imported, so there's no filter of culture or whatever it be added.  If this happened to someone else, can explain the cause of this problem?  More important still, is there a solution for this problem, so that when a WMV file is imported, the entire image is visible?
